    I went to the restaurant for a while and now the food is was ok but the quality was bad and the price is so expensive for the quality. Not recommend ☹️

    Thanks for the nice experience, the food was good. The noise level and music were too high and we found conversing a bit difficult. It would be good if the acoustic insulation was improved and music lowered.

    The ambience was excellent. I love the big booths and the dim lighting. The overall feel was really cool and modern. Very comfortable and cozy. The food was good but I expected better given the price. The sushi rice was pretty soggy. If I was a sushi chef, there’s no way I would have served that. I would have forgiven that if it was a food court stall or a cheap eat but not a restaurant of this calibre. The best dishes for the night were the coffin bay oysters and the beef tataki. It was a good experience and we enjoyed it. Would I go again? Probably not. I’ve had much better Japanese cuisine so this one doesn’t make the cut.

    Mother’s Day dinner disappointment. We were seated upstairs in the beer garden, food was warm not the way home like to eat Japanese and staff super busy. Not great.

    My partner and I were on holiday and travelled from NSW to VIC. We were recommended by family to eat at Ichi Ni Nana Izakaya. Great service and lovely food! Would definitely recommend!

    We were seated in one of the booths. Staff were attentive and the place overall wasn’t loud/noisey. The food we chose were excellent 👌🏼 Good quality food and food price was affordable.

    Service was non existent, and the food lacked flavour. We were excited to try the cheese and rice balls, which were a lump of rice with a Kraft cheese slice melted on top. Makes me look like a master chef

    Food was delicious! Beef curry was amazing! They did forget our curry and we waited almost 45 mins after the other food had come. They were pretty busy so I can understand how this could happen. Still a great dining experience.

    INN, Exceptional dining experience in the inner north east of Melbourne. The service from all staff (especially front of house) is faultless and felt very much looked after. The food is super fresh, delightful, and top quality. Ten out of Ten!

    We chose to go with the set menu which was mostly value for money and delicious except for the main which was just chicken and rice with a plain sauce- was uninteresting and just filled us up without offering anything special. I'd suggest adding more unique items on the set menu that really capture Japan and Japanese food.

    Food was completely bland , had to wait longer for the bill to be brought to the table then the meals to all come out , 250$ for average food for 2 people
