Enjoyed a birthday brunch with young child, and three adults in tow. Food and drinks were great. Enjoyed the creative brunch items and crafted cocktails (both classic cocktails and coffee based drinks). Highly recommend going.
Food is usually good, but service always seems to be lacking. Very inattentive and slow, appetizers come out a couple minutes before entrees, waiting to get drinks or refills, etc.
New inspired menu, consistently fantastic food! It is always a homerun dining at the Icehouse and listening to the live music. A perfect night out, excellent food, service, music and ambiance!
This was our first time here. Server did not know the drinks or main menu. We ordered a coffee with cream and it arrived almost warm, and tasted like the left over lunch brew. We also ordered a couple of Cappucinos with 1/2 & 1/2, but we were told they did not have 1/2 & 1/2, only whole milk....even though we had just ordered coffee with cream ? The food was very salty, the plates were not cleared until we started stacking them, we had to ask for more water, etc. Everything was extremely disappointing. Our entire table won't be coming here again.
Fantastic as always.
Love the music, food and overall vibe of Icehouse's Sunday brunch.
We had a great time. Delicious food, excellent service, we felt very comfortable, and fantastic to have live music! We will definitely come back!
Our server Kitty made our experience. Music was ok, food was pretty good , drinks were better. Thank you for making my birthday brunch a special one. Cheers!
My wife and I decided to venture off our normal routine ( North Loop) and check out the Ice House. The free music was the initial attraction but we were blown away by the quality and choices on the menu. The food was outstanding!
We came especially to see Ticket to Brasil performance as we love their music. We thoroughly enjoyed our food choices. The Ploughman's Platter was amazing. Loved the variety and the Mushroom Flatbread was delicious. Music was great! Chelsea did a wonderful job as server! Very attentive on a busy night. Thanks Chelsea! A fun evening all around. We will be back!
Easter dinner with my neighbors!! 💯💕🎉🐰✡️😍
Nice to have live music but it was too loud to talk. Imaginative menu, food was great!
Warm greeting at the door, friendly service, yummy eats, nice music, fun patrons and a Stokley sighting. Can a foodie/R&B fan ask for more on Easter?
Brunch pastries were very good, entrees good but not great. The main space has a convivial feel and the music at brunch (one man on guitar, very mellow but noteworthy at the same time) made for a nice room. The cappuccino at Icehouse is perfect (but smallish). Yes, would repeat.
Best place in town! Always a special meal, we are always surprised with something new and delicious!
Went to see a local band on a early Saturday eve. It is a very cool bar warehouse type atmosphere nice deco. The food was very good had some pork with a chicken pate on top and it was amazing. Will go back
Knowledgeable server. Friendly. Great music but because we sat in the back room, it wasn’t over bearing. Delish dishes. Very creative. Will be back as soon as we can!
Awesome food and service!
We came because of the bluegrass music! Get some more bands!
Wonderful for any time of day. Wide price range with legitimately excellent options at each level. Almost always some kind of music that can be either your main focus or ambiance. Lovely staff. Food always surprises and satisfies. Fun dessert and drink options. The sipping shots are an idea that every other bar should steal.
Great service and excellent food! We always enjoy ourselves here for brunch. Even as love music started, it was pleasant and easy to continue our conversation! Our server was fabulous!
LOVE THE AMBIANCE AND LIVE MUSIC, GREAT PLACE TO COME AND ENJOY A NIGHT OUT
I love the unique experience of listening to a band when you’re having brunch. They have a good selection of Bloody Mary’s and other brunch beverages!
Went for lunch this time and we had the Reuben and steak sandwiches- both were outstanding, and so was the brisket chili, too! Had the macaroon for dessert and it was right up there in quality with the rest of our lunch.
Really great food and drinks, but don't come overly hungry, at least not unless you can spend quite a bit.
This place is totally worth it. Just pricey. :)
Great service, great food and drinks! Drinks are a bit pricey, but not really any more than other places. Really appreciate the “back“ room. Nice if you want to be able to have a conversation yet still hear the music
great casual ambient and nice inside building design
First time visit with my beautiful date, and it was perfect! Loved the experience! We even had a chance to dance to some Cuban music. Keep it going! I think you gave a winning concept. My date is now my girlfriend and we will be visiting again for some more good offerings. Thank you!
Good food, good wine, good service. Be warned that if you're going for a show, your reservation doesn't guarantee you admission unless you also have a ticket--and your ticket alone doesn't guarantee you a table. If you want a table and good sightlines, plan ahead and buy/reserve early!
Brisket had 2 bites of meat and a ton of fat. Not a typical brisket. The waiter took it off the bill but didn't offer to bring something else or another one. The ice cream that was made in house was over churned into butter.
THE FOOD PRESENTATION WAS VERY NICE, THE TASTE OF THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. REGARDING THE FOOD, WE THE PORK CHOP QUITE FATTY AND THE PLOUGHMAN DINNER WAS FILLED WITH JUST ABOUT TOO MANY FOODS. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE AMBIANCE, THE STAFF AND THE MUSIC. IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO TALK AS WELL AS ENJOY THE MUSIC. WE WILL RETURN TO TRY OTHER ITEMS ON THE MENU.
Great meal, great service and the music was outstanding. Plan on going back for Sunday brunch.
It would be nice to have more vegetarian friendly choices (the only two both featured mushrooms) and more than one salad selection would be great.
We were very impressed with Icehouse. We went for dinner and had a live piano and cello serenading us while we dined on delicious burgers (veggie for me, one of the best I've had) and fries. Would love to come back to try their meat and cheese boards.
Great food and drinks and ambiance as always! The background music sets the mood right and is just the right volume.
Hard to rate! The food and drinks were outstanding! But the service was really really slow despite the place being half empty. And we were seated right next to the stage, so we couldn't hear / talk to each most of the meal. But the Holy Hootennanners were great, despite the loudness!
While we had a reservation at 5:00, they weren't ready for us. We had a 6 year old with and were told to sit at the bar. As others were coming in they sat them down and pretty much ignored us. Didn't care much for that, I feel you should be ready to go at 5:00 if you're taking reservations for that time.
What a fun night with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Thanks for bei g a great venue!
The service, food, seating all were excellent. We arrived at 6:30 PM and in plenty of time to order our food and have it delivered well before show time. The house was quite full when we arrived and became increasingly full through out the hour, likely making it increasingly difficult for our wait staff to complete the order. My objection was the time of meal delivery at 7:30! The exact time of the show. We do not like having to chew our crunchy salad at the same time trying to hear the beautiful music of the SPCO.
We went to IceHouse to hear a friend’s band play. The music was painfully loud. The service was really abysmal. It took forever to get anything. We ordered the mushroom flatbread, which was a horrible soggy mess served in a bowl! Wrap your head around flatbread in a bowl. The server brought one meal and fries we didn’t order, and our other two meals came out at least 20 minutes later. The guys said their burgers were “just ok.” Fries were great. I had salmon with the black garlic mayo, which was delicious.
