We have not been in awhile and we’re glad the menu had been changed and updated. Loved the duck confit and Nutella brownie desert. One of the best wine list and prices in town.
My date (my wife) was delighted. Only thing disappointed was my wallet.
Excellent meal and service. I love octopus and I highly recommend theirs. The tuna also was excellent.
Met up with a friend for dinner before going on to drinks. We enjoyed the crab and shrimp appetizer. I had the bisque soup; also good. My friend had trout; no complaints. The beach something or other drink was just the right mix of sweet and sour—yum. Our server, Diana, was attentive. I recommend.
Delicious meal, with excellent service. I was on my way to the Theatre District and had no time problem.
Awesome!! Food was great. Waiter friendly and attentive.
Have eaten at your restaurant many time in the past . Hadn’t been for awhile. The food was ok but not for the price . The mussels were supposed to be from Prince Edward Island but the were not I’m sure. They were tiny & small portions . Shrimp was spicy but very dry. Dessert was good. Probably won’t return for awhile.
Amazing food and Fantasic Wine List at great prices! Chef Charles Clark never disappoints.
My husband found Ibiza on open table and thought it different enough to try.
We started with anchovies which were DELICIOUS. He loved the beet salad. I had the lamb shank which was some of the best lamb I've ever had. He had the rabbit that was unfortunately a little bland. It looks like an intimate spot online, but it was pretty loud. It felt like we were yelling at each other the whole time. We think it has to do with the TON of birthday parties that happened to be that night. Service was fabulous. We will definitely go back.
Fantastic food great service and wonderful bottle of Rose
Great food, celebrating our wedding anniversary. Service was excellent from the minute we walked felt welcomed and important. We will defiantly be back.
My favorite restaurant for the last 20 years. The place was only half full, did not understand why we could not sit by the romantic lights outside. We were seated in the middle. Other than that it was good.
Good as always
Excellent service. Absolutely delicious food!! We had a wonderful evening.
Naomi took good care of us. Snapper ceviche was an excellent appetizer. I had the Baseball Tenderloin and wife had Grilled Snapper (a Special of the Day). Both were delicious.
We were seated immediately upon arriving. The wait staff does a great job, the manager came by to make sure everything was ok and Charles visited us before and after our meal. The tenderloin was melt in your mouth deliciousness and the shrimp were tasty as well. The wine was a great Zinfandel from Sonoma and the Cremebrule was wonderful. We always enjoy our meals at Ibiza and highly recommend it when in Houston.
Food, and service excellent. They were overbooked so we had to sit outside on damp evening. I would recommend it though.
Nice place and food was great. Liked the fact that they do not slay you the wine prices.
Celebrated my friends birthday. We had the octopus as an appetizer. It is as a bit over cooked but the flavors were there. We had the redfish and ahi tuna. Everything was delicious. Great wine prices by the bottle.
Food was really good. The service was not what I expected for a restaurant of this caliber. The service wasn’t bad but it felt like service that you would get at Chillis or somewhere like that
Took a long time friend and colleague to lunch for her birthday! We were able to sit outside on the patio as the weather was nice. Food was good and the appetizer was superb! Will go back again in the near future.
Great place to try different foods accompanied with great service
The food is always excellently prepared and the wine list has great wines at great prices. The service is excellent. It is a great meal that will impress anyone.
Me and my girlfriend came there for Valentine's Day and this was our first time here. Soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly valet then on to the hostess then on to our waiter for the evening. The handoffs were great and effortless. Rooster was our waiter and was very educated about the menu and helped us make a decision for our entree. Everything was perfect, the only I didn't like.....and this is probably me being picky....but I wish the menu was a little bit bigger. Other than that amazing food and drinks and service.
Valentine's Date went really well. Staff went out of their to make sure that my dish was exceptional, even when I thought the plate I initially got was really good. They really took care of us.
Valentine's Day dinner was fabulous! Morgan, our server, was very knowledgeable not only about the food on the menu but also with the wine list. The octopus appetizer was amazing; melts in your mouth. We ordered the fish of the day special and it was delightful! My wife ordered the brownie dessert to share and it was scrumptious!
Always great food choices and good service. Our favorite special event place.
I hadn't been to Ibiza in about a year, but it never fails to impress. This is one of the old faithful of Houston and their longevity in a highly competitive dining scene attests to the quality of the food and service. We ordered the wagyu meatball and baked brie appetizers, and both were fantastic. All of out mains came out and we couldn't wait to sample each other's choices - everything from the rabbit, to the ribeye, to the Iberico pork was simply perfect!
Great food and great atmosphere. We went for an early Valentine's Day dinner, and it was delicious. We had spinach salads, the roasted cauliflower with whipped feta appetizer, and the rabbit and lamb. All of it was incredibly tasty.
We come to Ibiza frequently, typically before theater performances downtown. We tend to stick with one of the fish dishes which they do so well. Last time, however, we tried the crispy duck confit. It was magnificent. Cooked to perfection with delicious accompanying sides and au jus to add even more flavor. One of the best meals we have had in months. And of course the service was professional as always.
Food was great. Had the ceviche and tomato mozzarella salads. Entrees were all very good. I had the grouper and it was perfect. We were celebrating a birthday, so the cotton candy with the sparkler was a fun touch! We also had a bread pudding and it's not my favorite, but others liked it. One downfall of this place that the noise level is so high it is difficult if not impossible to enjoy conversation. Also, there is no bar at all to wait for your table, and so you end up standing awkwardly at the hostess stand. There is an outside area where you could wait it nice weather...but it's Houston...usually too hot, too cold or raining!
Wonderful atmosphere with great food and service
The appetizers are the perfect size to get (2) for (2) people! Also the lunch was amazing. I ended the meal with a Cappucino which topped off the delicious-ness!!
Absolutely delicious meal with attentive but not overbearing service. We tried a little bit of everything - several appetizers (the Iberico Ham and Octopus with pancetta were incredible) with a pizza, salad, and soup, and we split the pasta main course. We left very full and happy. Had enough left over to enjoy the pizza and pasta again the next day. This is honestly a Houston restaurant I had forgotten about over the years but I'm so glad we rediscovered it!
The octopus was not that great, The Iberico was fantastic
Always a great choice, a bit on the pricy side but worth it for a nice business meal or special occasion. Noise level is nice as they tend to be more quiet than many spots at lunch time. Very convenient location to Downtown, Midtown and EADO.
All four of us enjoyed our dinner....tuna, duck, steak, and much more. The service is attentive but not pushy. Great atmosphere inside or dining out.
Looking for a good place to dine before the Symphony. Service food great. Were in and out in a timely manner but not rushed. Plan to go back again this weekend.
Ibiza remains one of our favorite Houston restaurants. I actually had something other than the braised rabbit this time although about 99% of the time, that's what I have. We shared the fried oyster appetizer, the sauce for which changes regularly, and the wagyu meatballs in a spicy, gravylike curry sauce. Both were wonderful. My wife had the duck confit and it was done perfectly. My lamb shank was falling apart good.
