Ibiza Food and Wine Bar
Our first date was here, and one year later my love proposed to me here as well. Our love story started at this wonderful restaurant. It was bitter sweet to have dinner yesterday because they are closing their doors next February. Chef Clark and his team have always made Ibiza a very special place where the food is always delicious and innovating and their wine list is extensive with the best prices in Houston.
Thank you all at Ibiza for being part of our love story!
Amazing meal. One of the best in the City!!!!!!!!!!.
Excellent food and ambiance, sat outside wonderful day
Ibiza is a great place for business lunch. Menu offers a diverse selection, from healthy options to a good 'ol burger.
I love this restaurant and will
miss it when it closes in February.
Excellent. Too bad it is closing 2/15/2020
Sorry owners are closing this restaurant; we love location and menu selection
Excellent as usual.
Great food, good service, unfortunately some bleach smell combined with smoke towards the end of our stay. We had Iberian ham which was good quality ( I lived in Spain for eight years), fish dishes were great, boquerones were soso. Place for people watching and great wine selection for fair prices. Food was a tad more on the pricey end.
Beautiful dining experience. Our server Kevin was amazing from start to finish. Wine perfectly chilled and our food was prepared beyond our expectations. Quickly became one of my favorite places and we will be back ! ( And ask for Kevin again )
It's regrettably closing in Feb. GO NOW! The watermelon salad was divine and the branzino was a delicate beauty - probably the best fish dish I've had since moving to Houston from Los Angeles 1 year ago. Highly recommend.
A long time Houston institution continues to serves great food in a comfortable environment. Iberico ham was terrific as was the ceasar said and braised lamb shank. Our server, Kevin, was charming and attentive.
Excellent meal, excellent service, and excellent value
Excellent food, excellent service, no more required
The birthday treat was very nice! Cotton candy tower with a sparkler. Really enjoyed it!
I hate that they are closing. One of my favorite restaurants in Houston.
Sorry to see this place going to close. Great food and service still
First visit back in 6 years. Good food, excellent service, great drinks ( $14 for a Manhattan?) but not memorable enough to return for another 6 years. Too many other dining options.
Always our favorite “go to!”” Took some friends for the evening and we had the market fish - wonderfully fresh and light! I usually opt for the off the menu burratta salad but this time I went with the Gazpacho! I’ve been to Andalusia and this gazpacho is the real deal! I would go back just for this!! Also tried the caramel cream de pot for dessert and it was scrumptious!! Also want to mention the superb service we had - perfect in every way - super attentive and never rushed!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Always a favorite. Great menu! and It's so great to have a glass or bottle of wine and not triple the bill. I am going to miss this place so much when it closes in February - so go now and go often. It never disappoints.
Ibiza has been one of my favorite Houston restaurants for years. It consistently has excellent food and service and is close enough to downtown to be a credible lunch alternative for me. After learning that it will be closing in early 2020 I have tried to eat there more often and I am never disappointed. I will miss Ibiza once it closes.
Go before they close. A more consistently satisfying experience maybe hard to to find.
Thanks for all memorable evenings.
Ibiza has been our "go to" restaurant ever since they opened with their fabulous concept of offering good and varied wines at reasonable price points. We'll be so sorry to see them close! I wish they would reconsider...
Fantastic, as always! Great food, wine & staff! Will need to make multiple trips before February.
Excellent food at unbelievably low prices. Spanish wine is almost a BYOB. I am in morning that Ibiza is closing in a few months.
Always nice. Gonna miss Ibiza.
got there around 9:00 pm with a friend. The place was virtually empty. On a positive note, we did not need to valet!
Ordered a selection of appetizers
The octopus, which I always considered the best in town was clearly...last tentacles standing. smallest portion ever, cold: little octopus. lots of sauce some other things in the plate (bacon? could not tell)
waiter could not wait to go home and literally attended to us more an more frequently as we finished our dinner to the point that ...we got the point and wrapped up our dinner and left - around 10:30 in Houston the place shut down...!
Fantastic food and wine. Great service. Starting to get anxious as this classic appears to be coming to an end next year. It will be missed.
first attraction is the wine. Great selection and very reasonable prices. Not the 3:1 you see I the store. It was $26 for any bottle of rose. Brought a selection of a few for us to taste and we took one. Got a great chardonnay and a Burgundy that paired well with dinner.
I'm a sucker for the market fish every time. I make up for it with getting a variety of appetizers and desert. Great stuff. I'll be back and sure to be at the owners other restaurants as well.
If you haven't tried it; do so soon.
Overall our experience waa excellent, the food, the service, the ambiance. I just wished we had a table with a little bit more privacy, only because we were seated really close to other tables but we still had a wonderful time.
One of our favorite restaurants! The food was absolutely delicious from the salad to the dessert, and the service was fantastic.
Had a great time at Ibiza. Food was great as was the service. The wine list is perfect - not too large and not to small! We all ordered a different fish entrée and everyone loved their meal. Really hate to hear that they are closing the first part of 2020. I'm hoping they will relocate - this is a hint to the owner.
This restaurant has it all, starting with well conceived preparation of great food that is beautifully presented with service that welcomes your business. It leaves a message of I must return here often.
Our waiter, Will, was very attentive to our needs. However, the manager, Everett, was outstanding.
He asked about any food allergies, explained everything as it was served, answered all our questions, and was most personable. The food was exceptional.
Fantastic halibut entree. When they close i hope they will put it on B19 menu. Terrific wine list and prices. Very knowledgeable waitress. All made for a wonderful evening.
Excellent place for a nice romantic dinner! I would recommend this restaurant for any event!
One of my favorite Houston restaurants. I was sorry to hear they are closing February 2020.
We had an outstanding meal and experience last night! Great and knowledgeable handling of the evening from our server, Will. He did a nice job of guiding us through the menu. Food was perfect - price point was competitive. Overall fantastic. Thank you.
This is our favorite restaurant in Houston. The food and service are ALWAYS exceptional.
Great restaurant. I'm really sad to see it closing later this month after being a part of Uptown Houston for almost 20 years, with great food and great wine list that allow you to experiment because of the small markup on the wine prices. Best wishes to all of the employees who provide great service over the years.
