    The restaurant is nicely decorated with an attention to detail but this is where the good news stopped. The food was very disappointing. We started with the oyster. These were so small I could hardly find them under the wedged of lemon, which was the only garnish. This was a little disappointing for a $7 oyster. We had a zucchini flower and the only thing hard than the batter was the plate. Is was covered in a very sweet honey dressing, which would have been nice for one dish. When the grilled cows cheese was also covered in the same honey I was a little over it. The cows cheese did look lovely on the plate and would have been picture worth, if you’re into that. I’d love to know the grade of iderico ham used as it definitely wasn’t black labeled. For $36 and the restaurants name sack it should have been. As with the oysters, I don’t mind the cost but it’s got to be worth it. The chorizo was similarly under whelming. Yes we did have the bread which was lovely and the candle had a nice hint of truffle…it was a fun addition. We got recommended a wine and I should have learnt my lesson by know, if the services is poor in the first instance don’t expect them to know anything about the wines. I should have stuck to the cocktails which were at least palatable. Overall if you want to go to a nice looking romantic restaurant and come out feeling like you’ve been mugged in the back street of Barcelona them this is the place for you!

    Big fan of Ikaria however Iberica fell well short of expectations. The food was particularly disappointing given the high standards set at Ikaria

    Lovely evening spent at Iberica. The Spanish menu was impeccably explained by our very attentive & very warm waitress. The decor is REALLY well done. Cosy, romantic, rustic & comfortable. No expense spared when fitting out this classy venue. The food was interesting & served us well being Coeliac. I found it a bit expensive so recommend perusing the menu in advance. If it’s in your budget, it will be money well spent.

    The interior and the service was top notch however the food was so so disappointing, especially for the price. Nothing stood out and the papas fritas were basically oven chips (like wth). Really gutted I was treating my partner for a special occasion. But as I say the service was really good just a shame the food didnt match as it would of made it a night to remember.

    Unfortunately the noise level completely ruined the experience. It was way too loud to hold a proper conversation. We found ourselves shouting just to be heard across the table, which made the whole meal exhausting rather than enjoyable. It’s a shame, because the food was actually quite good
