Chris and her team have done an amazing and effective job, managing to provide I Ricchi ‘s traditional high standards despite the constraints of the pandemic. Our group dined outside in a heated tent, with warmer seat cushions and blankets that it turned out we didn’t need. The rain only added to the ambiance - « glamping » at its very best. The food was as delicious as always and the staff could not be working harder to make your evening a delight. We were fans before - now we are devotees.

The food was outstanding as always, and our outdoor dining experience was comfortable, warm and felt very safe.

We are longtime fans of Christianne Ricchi and her Tuscan Italian restaurant I Ricchi. Wonderful professional and friendly service, outstandingly flavorful food choices, a great wine list and hand crafted cocktails and a very nice outdoor heated patio dining or nicely spaced indoor dining experience. Can’t go wrong at I Ricchi! You deserve a treat - Go!

Phenomenal atmosphere with excellent service. The food is the best DC has to offer.

Probably the most comfortable patio for dining in the Dupont area. A variety of well prepared menu items blended with warm, professional service make it a great choice for dinner. They do have heaters on their patio so even if the weather is a bit cool you will still be warm enough.

We had such a lovely time - four girls out for a night off from COVID. We were treated like family by our expert server, Carlos. A special treat was the long and lovely conversations we shared with owner Christianne, who stopped by our table a few times to chat. Socially distanced tables and health precautions.

They do such an amazing job during Covid. We ate outside, very comfortable and safe. Staff is great and Christianne is gracious beyond belief.

We ordered the prime rib and it was outstanding! On prior dining experiences we have had almost everything on the menu and have always been delighted!!

Not the best Italian meal I've had. Appetizers were good but the entree choices were anemic. We ordered the Prime Rib special for $49 and it wasn't worth it. Small portion TOTALLY over seasoned. Someone needs to taste menu items once in awhile. Ordered dessert it was never served. Probably Covid rust but I wouldn't return.

Outstanding service. Right now because of the pandemic, the menu is a little limited, but we still had a great dinner. It's very quiet. It makes me sad.

I love iRicchi. Each time I go there, or pick up a great meal from their iRicchi Food Club, I feel like I am a family member welcomed to their generous table. Their food is amazing, fresh and delicious. And now with COVID, sitting on the patio underneath the heaters on a cool fall evening makes for a cozy and enjoyable experience.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner and could not have asked for a more special evening. Our server, Noe, was FANTASTIC and so attentive to us. He did not rush us and our wine service was fantastic. The food - OUT OF THIS WORLD! We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers (scallops and the prosciutto plate) as well as our entrees (cod and tortelloni). The pasta is SO fresh and the portions are perfect. Christianne came and sat with us multiple times and made our evening so special. Please support this amazing restaurant!

Our first fine dining experience since March and we decided to go to our favorite restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. IRicchi is an outstanding experience. Safe distance tables rearranged and an outdoor patio is another option. We were the only couple choosing to eat indoors. The branzino was divine! Support iRicchi during this pandemic. Christianne Ricchi has made every effort to ensure your safety.

Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. The rigatoni was wonderful. The chef later told us that what makes the tomato sauce so good is that it simmers for 12 hours. The prosciutto appetizer is another winner. In sum, it was a great night.

i Ricchi is by far the best Italian restaurant in the DMV. The food is simply spectacular. The service is amazing, the waiters are knowledgeable and friendly. We have dined all over the world and this is one of our favorite restaurants because the food is consistently great. If you are looking for a great evening with ambiance and terrific service try i Ricchi you will not be disappointed.

Thank heaven for the patio! In this social distanced world i Ricchi is a great, safe dining experience. Lovers of Tuscan cuisine should make it a point to dine here. The menu is somewhat limited due to capacity limits but every item we had was excellent. 3 of us shared appetizers of calamari fritti delicately battered and very tasty; and Sausage and beans. Our pasta course consisted of Rigatoni with meat sauce, perfectly al dente; and the Tortelloni with sage butter sauce.

For entrees, try the veal Milanese and the filet mignon with the most amazing truffled polenta.

The service is great and you can often find the owner/chef Christianne Ricchi going from table to table to see if you’re enjoying your meal.

i Ricchi is a DC institution that we all should assure survives the pandemic. Go. You won’t be disappointed.

They have cut back on the menu and many of our favorite things were not on the menu, I got the fried chick and the portion was huge, but the taste not as good as food usually is, but I also got cold tomato soup which was delicious.

Disappointed they wouldn't take my Groupon, but understandable.....the restaurant outside was pretty empty.

Lovely evening, great service, yummy food. Easy to social distance, not a very busy night. So thankful for this gem in our neighborhood.

iRicci is a Washington gem. The food is superb and worthy of the praise it receives. We dined on the patio under umbrellas which added to the ambiance. All was superb including the service.

Had a great birthday dinner al fresco and was not disappointed with the consistently great food and service at I Ricchi. Very few patrons on a Wednesday night and I felt quite safe health-wise. Rigatoni delicious as were the appetizers. Felt like I was in Europe.

The food was better than ever. The Chef was so kind to visit us at our table. The outdoor seating area is so nice even though the indoor area is just like Italy.

If you like Tuscan food, this is the place for you. It is food similar to what you would get in Florence. Lively flavors, clear, fresh ingredients, everything in balance. Fabulous wine list at reasonable prices. I live in New York City and was in Washington for a week. I ate there 3 times. My favorite restaurant in Washington.

Food and service was excellent as usual. Also we felt very safe given the distance of the tables apart and all the COVID precautions that were taken.

Wonderful to be able to have dinner out again and at one of our favorite long term restaurants I Ricchi! Comfortable well spaced outdoor tables with a very nice menu of wonderful dishes and as always signature professional and courteous service. We shared the perfect calimari- crisp and flavorful very lightly fried, fresh and flavorful caprese salad and for an entree - a delicious dish of fresh baked cod with dill, canneliini beans, and pinenuts.

Can’t go wrong at I Ricchi. Dine out delightfully and safely!

The restaurant had only recently reopened. Dining was outdoors in widely spaced tables. The service was great and the owner spent a few minutes at each table talking with diners and thanking them for coming. We began with two appetizers, tortelloni and prosciutto with melon. Both were luscious. Ditto for our mains (secondi) of beef tenderloin and chicken parmigiana. We were already very happy when our desserts came, and that doiubled the pleasure: an amazing semifreddo and and a delicious tiramisu. Amazing evening and a great way to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.

It was lovely. Went there for our anniversary after not being able to go out for months because of the coronavirus pandemic. We had a table outside. The food was wonderful. I ordered Atlantic Cod and loved it. It might not be for people who done like beans, which is what the fish was confined with, along with a lot of dill. It was pricey, but after everything was wonderful and after so long without being able to go out, it didn’t sting.

We had a wonderful dinner there with with friends that we adore and the attention to detail the quality of the food and service were impeccable
