   My husband and I went to IRicchi for a wedding anniversary meal on a Sunday evening. The food was delicious, service very attentive and we could actually hear one another across the table, which is rare these days in restaurants. I ordered a starter plate and we shared it, The Funghi plate had a variety of mushrooms that were seasoned perfectly and were both crisp and soft. My husband ordered the Fritto Pollo and enjoyed the moist chicken pieces with a super crisp crust -- Very generous portions. I chose the Tortelloni filled with Spinach and served in a Sage Butter sauce yet is somehow light We chose a Gelatto and a Sorbetto for dessert. As it was an anniversary meal, these came on a plate decorated with a greeting and candles. We recommend this restaurant for its food, service and calm atmosphere. I don't know if, on a week night, a meal at IRicchi would be as quiet. But I certainly hope to return and find out.

   My adult son and I ate dinner at I Ricchi last night. We are spending a 3 day weekend in Washington DC. Last night was the first time we have eaten at I Ricchi. It was a wonderful meal and we will likely return the next time we visit. I ordered the linguine with clams. It was perhaps the best linguine and clams that I have ever tasted. My son had the pasta special - the squid ink Cavatelli pasta with shrimp and sausage. He reports that his food was excellent. I ordered Semifreddo dessert. It was a perfect blend between sweet, creamy, crunchy and fresh. The service was perfect. Our Waitress was Jackie. She was very sweet, very attentive and very knowledgeable. The Staff (Hostess, busgirl and food runner) did a very good job. My only criticism was the my Old Fashioned was a little watered down.

   I Riichi is like dining in Tuscany. It never disappoints. The surprise is the wonderful fried chicken! But the classic Italian dishes are the best. We love this place. The service ce and the ambiance is fantastic.

   This restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in all DC. Food is amazing, very attentive service and great value. I hope to be back many time. Thanks!!

   I Ricchi is all about great food and superb service and it is about doing it consistently everytime. You will not be disappointed.

   Food and service are always impeccable!! Took my mom there over the cherry blossom weekend and she soooo loved it, especially the squid ink pasta and grilled octopus salad!

   two pasta dishes really made our evening, tortelloni and pappardelle. IMHO the best in town. The restaurant served two large groups while we , but the service attention and noise level barely suffered at all. We've had Branzino in earlier visits, and it was also excellent. I suggest that diners round off their meal with an Amaro, it's the ideal finishing touch.
