    We had a lovely evening. Appetizers of salads, calamari and prosciutto were excellent. The buccatini with sausage and mushrooms was outstanding, as was the lamb chops and the bronzino. The service was the best we have had for a long time. Excellent pacing if the courses, and the best martinis ever.

    It was very loud inside. So we ate outside, which was fine until the moving trucks came, not the restaurants fault. Food was wonderful. Service was attentive.

    Last night was a special event, dinner with friends of over 60 years who happened to be visiting the District. Well, when the occasion calls for dialing up the old friends vibe over a great meal and a few bottles of wine, there is no better place to gather than I Ricchi! Christiane, Spo, Eric, and Edward were at the peak of their art, again! Delightful people, all of them. One of the many delights of living in Washington DC is talking friends to I Ricchi!

    First had reservation at 7:30 was not seated until 8 with very empty restaurant. The place was not busy at all. Our server didn’t know any of the details about our meal. We didn’t get the full presentation and didn’t know any of the dishes. Also half way through our meal a group of people sat down next to us with a dog that was not a service animal. I am highly allergic to dogs so the remainder of my dinner I was miserable. My friend was served the wrong dish and was made to feel bad about sending it back because the dish they gave her had things that she was allergic to.

    We were certainly looking forward to I Richhi, but, ultimately it will be a one time stop. The apps and antipasto and dessert were really good. The entrees were not good. Chicken parm was like a chicken tender cut in half and some ragu marinara on top with a side of arugula. The risoto was halfway decent. Certainly not worth the cost. The server was informed and candid.

    It was a nice evening with my son before I left him at college. I Ricchi was recommended by my husband and parents and in-laws who had dined there previously. Last night lived up to all of the expectations. It was perfect.

    Much too expensive for the small portions served. I have had much better value for the same high prices at other local restaurants. Their best item - the Tuscan bread soup - is no longer on the menu.

    After not eating there since Covid it was a comfort to find out the restaurant was as good as what was remembered prior to Covid. The food and service make it a treat to come into DC for a nice meal. It remains a great experience to eat at I Ricchi.

    We appreciated having tablecloths, a real candle, and a lovely, peaceful dining room. We could talk and we could hear. Food was delicious. Among 4 of us we shared 2 salad apps, 4 different mains, and shared tiramisu and a piece of light cake. Especially loved the celery salad, but really everything. We had arctic char over lentils, shrimp /spinach risotto, and 2 different pasta dishes. It's a special occasion place, and we loved it. All our plates were cleared completely empty and cleaned.

    The food was wonderful; we challenged our excellent waiter regarding how good the calamari was; She said the best in the region. She was right....the chef knows exactly how to prepare calamari...not all Italian restaurants in this region can claim that wisdom. Our server made us feel so welcomed and happy. MUCH THANKS for the great food and wonderful service by our waitress and the team.

    The BEST Italian restaurant in the DC market. The service was superb. The meal was out of this world - great 12-hour prepared Ragu, Risotto with Shrimp and Asparagus, Artic Char, and Lamb and Pasta Ribbon.... Just Amazing!! Getting to spend time with Christianne was such a blessing!

    Had reservations; arrived 10 mins earlier; pouring rain. Lady said u are early!! 5 or 6 tables available and she had me wait. She was totally rude . My guests were Italians from Buenos Aires and I am first generation Italian. They ordered chicken parmigiana; what was served was fried chicken wings!! I called for the waitress who brought the menu like i needed a descripition and it was corrected. I have eaten here several times but this will be my last time. For the price and quality, it is not worth it ! No Italian waiters? Really?

    They charge $4.95 for a small ice tea and then no refills. That’s outrageous and the most expensive Ice tea I’ve ever paid for$9 dollars for ice tea is a rip off . They are way overpriced on their food ! I’ll never recommend them and never go there again

    Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Food was fantastic. Gene who treated us at the door and our waiter Anthony went over the top to make sure we had a great time. Chris the owner came to our table and introduced herself. Will definitely visit again.
