Amazing cuts. Different every time with perfect ambiance
Service is good, meat quality is great. But does not worth$1000for party of 4. $400-$500 is the most.
Excellent service and a must try Wagu beef in Manhattan! Definitely will come back with my family!!!
At Hyun, "all you can eat" also means "nothing you can't eat." If you cannot finish the generous portion of exquisite wagyu beef, as we could not, you don't get to take the rest home. In other words, you don't get what you paid for but something less. When the minimum price per person is $99, That seems like a rip-off.
Everything on point- food, service, ambiance. Definitely returning!
Food is okay but very expensive. Air quality I believe it’s not very good. Also noisy.
Had the best experience at HYUN definitely a must try! The Hyun-makase ACYE Japanese A5 Wagyu was worth every penny! The service was outstanding, the servers were very friendly and accommodating! It was a great deal would highly recommend
Great place to enjoy A5 wagyu, you are in seperate rooms while a chef cooks for you
Great food and service. Tasting menu was very nice!
Pricing but very high quality and a lovely dining experience.
The best Wagyu I ever had in my life!! Hands down the best experience as well. If I can give a 10 star I would.
Hyun has such a beautiful interior and food presentation❤️ great place for couples!
Surprised my boyfriend for a Valentine's Day/birthday visit to HYUN with overwhelmingly wonderful results! We absolutely loved the ambiance of their private booths, with the noise level at quiet so that we could have pleasant conversation and some space to be ourselves. The food was delicious, although somewhat debatable on price alone; however coupled with the experience, presentation, ambiance, and service, it feels like a premium private dining experience in NY, and something that maybe worth your piece of mind. HYUN has beautifully crafted courses that, without drinks, will fill you up alone. Light, but tasty and refreshing, Korean food has been elevated to an elegant level. Staff was even kind enough to fulfill my special request for a small birthday surprise at the end & provide us with a free glass of porsecco to end the night. Overall, HYUN is a place to visit, but for certain, very special, occasions.
For the price and the portions it should be excellent but it’s not. I get the whole haute cuisine aspect of things but it’s more image than substance at HYUN. Service was the best part of the meal. 3 people took very good care of us. The menu was very limited and more than once something my guest and I asked for they were out of forcing us to pay a bunch of money for “something else”. In Koreatown there are better and more frugal choices.
It was awesome
Too expensive, the amount of food is too small.

The service was excellent and it was very cater to us On a personal level. The food was exquisite!
Excellent venue. The food was very authentic. Def going back.
Service was very very very slow
The manager, Mr. Pang, took care of our table and steered us in the right direction. The quality of the food was superb! We had an excellent meal, and I will return the next time I am in NYC. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
A very good experience. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and accommodating. The meat is outstanding. Sul is very smooth and high quality. A very good sinning experience in NYC.
HYUN is definitely a treat for any date night! My husband and I had a fabulous time, enjoying the ambiance, delicious food, and top-notch service from our extremely attentive server, Tobi, and the host staff. We will definitely be back!
Good food but definitely overpriced.
Nice quality of wagyu(melting in my mouth) uni and truffle pot rice was just WOW!! Quite restaurant which has private dining room. Nice service (my server explained really well about my dishes)
Poor food amount and quality for what we paid. Servers pressure you to order a minimum. Lots of items on the menus were either missing or unavailable... including beer!
We have waited for way too long
The whole dinner was overpriced. Not enough options for drinks - only 1 white and red wine by the glass. The champagne by the glass was $195!! Insane how they were pushing the $200 rice specials. This restaurant will be hard pressed to last.
Outstanding place! Food and ambiance were outstanding. Highly recommend.
The Food came out too slowly and it was expensive. I wasn’t really happy with it.
HYUN is the luxury restaurant with the atmosphere and private "room" tables. Food is quite expensive($$$$) but they are very very good. I dont regret coming here.
Highly recommend to go with significant others or clients.
Hyun is a hidden gem. The food, ambiance and service is delicious, elegant, and graceful. My guest and I were thrilled with our experience and our meal. Hyun should be on the top of everyone’s list when they want a special evening! Don’t wait; you need to hurry up before the rest of the food world discovers Hyun. Check out the tatami rooms for the full experience! It’s worth it!
Customer dinner. Excellent. Service. Food Awesome
The restaurant was able to accommodate my party even though we were an hr earlier than our reservation time. The ambiance was romantic with the private booths, but our sliding doors weren't really functioning properly due to warped wood. Our waiter was friendly and professional. He provided helpful instructions on how to maximize our enjoyment of the meal.
Ambience was great. It’s not loud there which I love, you can actually hear the people that came with you. Only thing I suggest is don’t come hungry, make sure you eat something before arriving if your a foodie like me lol. But overall I love this place. It’s a good experience.
Really good meat ,server was good to explain the food as they were getting cooked. Would definitely come back.
They become one of my favorite Korean BBQ in NYC! I don't mind going there every weekend.
Excellent food and service!!
The food is very mediocre but the price is abnormally high. Some ingredients don’t pair well in the dishes.
My husband and I went there Sunday. Their beef from Japan is excellent.
And their service is also excellent.
We are already planning to go back there soon.
