Hy's Steakhouse Vancouver
In a dining room rich in history, dinner at Hy’s is a truly authentic experience. The charcoal-grilled Prime steaks, tableside preparation of classic Caesar salad, and impeccable, professional service have made Hy’s Canada’s Premier Steakhouse for over 65 years. Enjoy the intimacy of the cozy, wood-paneled main floor space or the upstairs modern library inspired décor and disappear into a world where the guest is always first, and fine dining is at its very best.
Expert Suggestion: The famous cheese toast is addictive. Try it with an Old Fashioned for a decadent treat.

Very expensive this year
We did have a mishap with my beef Wellington but the staff quickly tried to rectify it eventually taking it off the bill. Handled expertly. I would also like to give a special shout out to Emily. Every time she is there she makes the experience a little bit more enjoyable. Wonderful personality and a pleasure to have at our table making bananas foster!
Staff are friendly, our server has been very helpful with the menu.
Setting is awesome
Great service and amazing meals from starter to dessert.
We went there for a special seniors birthday.........The seafood market special at Hy's that evening was Halibut fish and chips (I expected a lot more from Hys) It was presented tempura "fish finger" style and was priced at $50.00. Yes I know it is a steak house, but that was $5.00 more than the filet!
The guest of honors garlic bread showed up at least 5 mins before the main and was colder and harder by dinner service. The Service as always there, was impeccable.
