We offer weekend brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and great late night ambiance.
Food was awful. Deep fried everything accompanied by sloppy bland sauces. Not one fresh item in sight. Waitress was bubbly but insincere, overall experience was disappointing. Not what it once was, a massive fall from grace
Love the food here.
Bottomless was cool, servers seemed overwhelmed.
Enjoyed a delicious (and beautiful) cocktail called Angelyne and a light & delectable salad. There are vegan options and many tempting offerings. Very chill vibe and excellent playlist. Next time I’ll indulge in the $19 bottomless mimosas. Very pleased.
Sunday brunch- great cocktails, plenty of food choice. The food was great. Downfall- table behind us was very loud.
Thought the menu and food was basic, bar fare. Nothing interesting. Prices were for a restaurant. Service was less than a regular, busy bar. But we were about the only table there.
Terrible service
WORST SERVICE EVER. WILL NOT GO BACK. RUDE WAITSTAFF
We arrived for brunch on a Sunday and it was crowded but definitely not full to capacity so there’s no excuse for this service it took at least 15 minutes to get a drink order in plus an hour to get the food when the food arrived it was cold -cold eggs cold toast soggy toast underneath the avocado potatoes cold ,eggs rubbery it felt like the food was sitting in the kitchen for a half an hour before the server deemed us worthy of bringing it out. In order to get our coffee cups refilled we had to get up and actually find a server and request some more coffee I will never go back to this place again especially since I noted it was my birthday on the reservation and we were stuck in a horrible table and the service was atrocious . Food lousy and over priced too.
The chicken was half warm half cold. Clearly came out of the microwave.
Staff was amazing food was amazing will definitely be coming back
Bloody Mary was fantastic. The food was soso. I got the eggs Benedict with the fried chicken and it was a little bland. The avocado toast my friend got was much better.
It was phenomenal. Everybody in my party loved it and we wanted to go back the next night. There is a quieter room in the back if you don’t want to hear the TVs. Almost all of us got the Mexican street corn avocado toast and it was what dreams are made of
Unfortunately didn’t like the atmosphere, was kind of blah. Very disappointed in the food all three portions of french fries were over salted. We should’ve sent it back. One ordered hamburger was too well done and dry. Didn’t really care for the wedge salad either it was too densely packed lettuce. The best part of the food was the candied bacon.
Great for brunch! Sunday soccer league gathering was happening so quite boisterous and noisy until the game wash finished but post that event, all was lovely.
Good brunch spot in the valley
Nice place, good price, lot of good choices on the menu, definitely a good spot. Nice waiters, just a bit swamped on a Valentine evening. We’ll come back, definitely.
First time eating there. Decor, food, & service, was great! Will be back......
Our first time to this restaurant and we will return! Went for DineLA. Winter salad, Bison Meatloaf (available as part of their regular menu as well as this price fixe) and carrot cake. All great!
Went for dinela at off-peak hours, so there were only a few of us there. but the food was well seasoned and the atmosphere was nice.
Will have to come back at a more rousing hour and see what it's like.
Our waitress would only check in on us every 30-40 min. This made it next to impossible to ask for our check and leave. Apparently we weren’t the only table to thought so as we witnessed one couple leave after no came to take their order. They were the lucky ones.
Extremely accommodating to our group of six who moved from the dining area to the bar area to see the last football game of the season. Food was delicious and interesting. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Great find!
We had a table in back and we were given plenty of time to mull over the menu, order and chitchat. The noise level wasn’t too quiet or too loud. Overall we had a great experience.
They need more wait staff, but other than that everything was great.
No one would greet us or help us find a seat. The bus boy said he couldn’t help us, even though there was a reservation made. He couldn’t even point us to an empty table? Rude. We went somewhere else and I won’t be returning to HP.
We met up with friends for a before-the-theatre brunch. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the presentations were quite beautiful, a rarity at a bar. I will definitely think about going here again if I am in the neighborhood. The seating is divided between the sports bar and a somewhat quieter dining area, plus a dining patio. Since we wanted to talk, and it was a bit chilly outside, we chose the dining area where we ran into other friends.
Went here with a 4 other friends to celebrate December birthdays and had a GREAT time. We sat in a large booth next to the bar and ordered food and drinks from the happy hour menu. Then we thought we were ready to leave, decided we weren't, and went over to the restaurant side for coffee and dessert. Fun atmosphere, loved our servers, delicious food, and the drinks were juuuust right!
The service was bad. Not horribly bad but really, the wait staff were also the bartenders and the hosts and they were not really focused on waiting particularly. That said, the food was great - Not gourmet great but solidly good comfort good with some innovation. I will try again but not in the immediate future.
Will never dine here again. We arrived at 12:07pm for lunch, and were not served until 12:55pm. To make matters worse, the food was barely marginal - at best! While we were there another group of diners gave up on ever getting their food, and just left. The group behind us was complaining quite a bit about why it was taking so long for their food to arrive, and they arrived 30 minutes after we did!!
Went on a Sunday. Football was on inside way too loud. Food was ok but probs we're tiny for the price. Happy hour food was ok. Waitress was busy chit chatting inside to see if we needed anything. As it got colder outside they said they would turn on heaters but never did... needless to say the food they brought all at once got cold fast.
Great brunch menu. This place pleased even my very picky friend. Service was excellent!
It was too loud in there.
I made a reservation for my girlfriends birthday to try something new. I had been there before for a private party and was really excited to try the full menu.
When we arrived we were told they don’t serve in the dining room on the weekdays but we could dine in the bar area. When I explained that I had a reservation. They said well you can eat in the bar. No apology or nothing.
We ended up dining somewhere else that night and have to do a do-over for her birthday.
Dirty floors. Nice, but disinterested staff. All around I get the feeling this place is standing on it's last legs. Lunch is served on the bar side, with only a few tables (the dining room is not open at lunch service). The patio was filthy. Terrible music. The food was decent, but no need to go back. There are much better options.
I really love the cocktails here! They are inventive and fun and SUPER tasty. Only thing
Wonderful experience for brunch! I love finding new amazing restaurants to share with my friends - and Hyperion Public was the perfect find! My first impression once I got in the door was that I found the host to be a delight. I almost wanted him to join us at the table. The space is comfortably posh. My four friends and I cozied up in a corner booth and didn’t want to leave. I enjoyed the bottomless mimosas with a variety of fruity options (more than just oj) and the surprisingly huge portion of French toast with chicken apple sausage. So yummy. We all enjoyed our meals - even ordering a few more items as we sat around having a great time. It may be our new regular spot!
Nice casual place with good service, with indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the avocado fries and our yummy hamburgers. We don't eat bread, so they were nice enough to make our sandwiches into lettuce wraps.
Nice evening dining on the patio. Food good had salads and grilled chicken.
I had the salmon with Brussels sprouts and the cauliflower rice. It was incredible! It went well with my glass of rose. Our waitress was informative and polite! Great place to catch up with a friend! Lots of good things on the menu so looking forward to returning!
I went for brunch with a friend. My breakfast sandwich was great but my friend really didn’t like the omelette. It wasn’t very busy but it was a Sunday at 2pm. The place looked good for a happy hour so I may be back for that.
