   Wait staff were great! Food was just about ok. It was primarily Italian food and I asked for an espresso with desert and was told the machine was broken ( had been so for a month) at these prices, GET A NEW ONE! The $20 charge for valet parking was excessive! The music was too loud for a normal conversation

   Never been to Hyde for dinner before and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Definitely order the lobster pasta. Server was great and provided great friendly service.

    I’ve been many times, but honestly, skip it. So many incredible high-end spots in the WEHO area. Hyde has lost its appeal. Service is horrible.

    I am utterly shocked that SBE, a renowned company that created such great restaurants such as Cleo and Bazaar would create such inferior restaurant both in terms of food quality and service. Packaged mushroom raviolis from Trader Joe’s taste better than what I received at the restaurant. The service was pretty mediocre. The server didn’t feel the need to check up on us after the appetizer or main dish was placed on the table so we had to chase him for fresh ground pepper. He put my left over ravioli in quart of plastic soup container. This all says a lot about a restaurant. We got there at 7pm and there were only 2-3 tables full until 10pm on a Friday night.

    Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails has a great ambiance, stylish and trendy decor with a great clientele that is good looking, dressed up, and out to have a good time. The food was very good! My date and I had the petite filet, chicken piccata, and asparagus. The drinks are excellent, we tried a lime and watermelon Margarita, Lemon Drop, and Old Fashioned. Hyde has a restaurant area and a nightlife room. It's a perfect place to go for dinner and then spend the rest of the night at Hyde Nightclub. Bottle service would be ideal especially if you have a group of people. My date and I had dinner at 9 pm, her friends joined us at 10:30 pm for drinks, then we went to the nightlife room at 11:30 pm for DJ music and bottle service. The restaurant and nightlife room had a lot of attractive women with a good ratio of women to men. I dine out in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills frequently, the prices are in line with most quality restaurants. Per person, you will spend $30-$50 with one drink each. And the valet is directly in front of the restaurants, $15. Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails is a place I will go to frequently.

    Service was terrible. Appetizers came out after the entrees. No water after ordering it 3x The person delivering the food told us they were out of shrimp and out of ahi as they brought the food to the table without it. They never once told us that before hand and she was rude about it. They Andes up comping us which is as nice but tighter than that you get the picture.

    They were nice I didn’t expect it because reviews said staff was mean. Seems Covid and theft wave has caused volume to decrease significantly causing staff to behave nicely towards patrons unlike before.

    I don’t do reviews but *wow* this place was bad! Like, it was offensively bad. The tuna tartare look like someone literally threw it on the plate, which wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t actually the worst tartare I’ve ever had and I love tuna tartare so I’ll eat it anywhere and be OK with it and this was the only tuna tartare I’ve ever had that wasn’t good. I’m not gonna go into detail because it doesn’t matter but I was actually fairly embarrassed for the restaurant itself. Again not gonna go into detail over how the service went but it was top three worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant in LA and I’ve lived here for 36 years. We were harassed by the security in the wait staff to leave 30 minutes before the restaurant closed and every two minutes, no kidding every two minutes someone else came up and asked us how long we were going to be there for for the restaurant wasn’t even closed. They also brought the wrong appetizers and drinks three times, and then only after about a five minute conversation did they agree to take two credit cards to pay the bill. Why? I have no idea. Hyde is for sure a good name. Hyde from this place. Don’t ever go.

    First of all this restaurant was amazing and it’s the first restaurant in LA that I will be recommending to people. Everything from the atmosphere, to the customer service, and to the cleanliness. Kimberly who was out waitress was so kind, helpful, attentive, and respectful. She is what made the experience so much better and the reason why my friend and I had such an amazing time. She went above and beyond and I just wanted to let you know that she definitely did her job that night by simply being amazing and being so on top of everything. She has an amazing attitude and she definitely is such a gem! I will be returning for sure and I hope I get her again as my server because, she is the reason why I will be returning. Keep it up! And it was beyond amazing. Please let her know that was amazing and thank you for everything she did for us that night. It will not be forgotten and it will be something I will tell people from here on out. I will definitely will be back.

    Staff was very rude- wouldn’t listen/answer any questions we had. Definitely not a place I would recommend. Especially since there are so many better options in LA that are more professionally run, and have kind staff and atmosphere.

    Horrible horrible horrible! Didn’t have enough menus for us, took 45 minutes for someone to take our drink order, another 30 to get the drinks. Two and a half hours later, half the food never came and no one attended to our table. This isn’t a restaurant, it’s practically a park for employees to lounge around.

    The place and the food were excellent. I would not use this app to book it again though. I made the reservation a week in advance.i tried to make it for 9 pm it only had 8 pm available. It opens at 8. So we had the entire restraint to ourselves. Not exactly what we were shooting for. And unless there were a couple of hundred people hiding awaiting our departure. 9 o’clock would’ve been available too The one positive is the food is amazing. So there’s that.

    We sat down next to a difficult table so I felt bad and tried to understand why it would be difficult for them to focus on us. But then the Chef and manager started having an argument right next to our table. The items on the menu were priced differently than the check and they tried to upcharge my card. Our entrees came out at wildly different times and our "Made to order" cookies were extremely hard and cold. Literally could of been chips ahoy.

    The food is amazing and the ambiance is great. But, They sat the 2 of us on the smallest table in the world while the restaurant was empty. They claimed they had reservations, yet only 2 other parties showed up. By the way, I had a reservation, too. Why do I get a table that could barely fit our plates, let alone dinner entrees? Pretty disappointed.

    Host/Hostess at the front did not not welcome us nor direct us to the proper area, and in a multi-use complex like the one Hyde is in, that is very necessary. The waitress was scattered and provided terrible service. Cocktail drink orders were not brought until the END of our meal- and they were made incorrectly. The food was lacking taste and quality, the majority of the table left half of the food on their plates because it wasn't even worth the calories.

    Nice spot. But man where they terrible at times. Brought out 1/2 our tables food...then 30 mins later brought out the other 1/2 of the tables food. Awkward. Then after we waited forever for our second drink and over 45 mins for a dessert that never came, we just paid and left. I was so excited to go here. Probably the worst “fine”dining experience in Los Angeles

    We expected something casual nice, something like Catch or Bar Marmont. This is not like these places at all. This is like a strip club without strippers. Strip clubs are cool when you are in the mood for it and they are unpretentious. Hyde is just as ghetto as it gets but also they give you attitude.
