   My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at Hyde park and the experience was every bit of Great the server “Barry” I believe was his name did a great job . all around great place thank you Hyde park staff

   Hyde Park is always a great experience with phenomenal food. We came out to celebrate my husband’s birthday and they never disappoint. My husband ate the 12oz filet with the au gratin potatoes and lobster mac (our fave). While I had the Chilean Sea Bass (OMG) and the sautéed spinach. His steak was medium and both the Mac and potatoes were cooked to perfection. And the Sea Bass, I usually get the salmon, was sooooooo good!! Like the steak, cooked to perfection, with the soy sauce and accompaniments working together to create a symphony in my mouth with every bite. I usually can’t eat all of my entree, but I forced myself this time because it was yummy!! Always a good vibe, phenomenal service and excellent food! We’ll be back soon.

   First time dining here . Overall , quality of food was very good . Beef carpaccio, ahi tower, salads, and filet very tasty. High quality. Server was professional, polite very accomodating. The issues were - my husband's steak came rare ( not medium rare ) sent back , took a bit if time . Then returned back cooked perfect but without the sauce . There was a very long wait between starters and entrees. Ordered dessert and took over 20 minutes which server brought and said we are comping you for dessert. We did not even have to mention the time wait , she was great just knowing to do that . We really liked her . However, we had leftovers which they packed up for us , until today when I opened one of the boxes . Our side was mixed with my filet ( two different sauces ) and was everywhere. Also , our bread was not boxed up either . We will return though. We enjoyed the food , server. Just need some tweeaking there. Would give the restaurant another chance for sure.

   Excellent! First time experience for an anniversary dinner which we noted on the OpenTable Special Occasion website. Everyone wished us ‘happy anniversary’ including the hostess when we checked in. An anniversary card signed by the staff and surrounded by rose petals was waiting for us on our table, thank you. Importantly, our attentive, engaging, well-informed and entertaining server/host Anthony deserves accolades! Every upscale restaurant should have an Anthony like Hyde Park’s Anthony! The food super exceeded our expectations. We found the menus, wine list, and little booklet about ‘spirits’ quite interesting. We’ll be back and ask for Anthony!

    This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant and it was very disappointing. 2 of the steaks for our family were not cooked properly (one was overcooked and the other undercooked). Staff/management were notified and addressed it. Not sure we will return there.

    Food was good with the exception of the lobster tails. Overcooked, sent back. Second try was also overcooked but I settled and ate them. Will return for the steak and lamb chops, but not for the lobster. Service, ambiance, and cocktails were superb. Thanks again

    Service was great. Ambience was nice and quiet. Food was overall good. Got steak and it was cooked perfectly and enough flavor. Appetizers were not so great. Calamari had no real flavor and way to many nuts, lobster mac was watery and didn’t eat more than a bite. Tuna tower was really good though. Dessert was good got buttery cake.

    Me & my boyfriend went for New Year’s Eve and it was a pleasant experience. It was both of our first visits. Everything we ordered was HOT and cooked really well. For it to have been a busy night, the chef & the waitresses did their thing. I ordered the salmon with garlic whipped mashed potatoes and he ordered NY strip with lobster Mac and cheese. That lemon sauce they put on the salmon, babbbyyyyyy, it was so good. The strawberry margarita was a TRUE lol margarita. I wanted to get my boyfriend one of those cute plates with the sayings but they didn’t have the tools lol but my waitress made it work! She brought him a fudge chocolate cake decorated so cute. It was just overall a good experience. I would definitely go again. Oh and y’all, the manager will personally introduce himself and that I appreciate. Thanks y’all!

    Initial impression upon entering was not good. The three ladies at the host/hostess stand were not welcoming at all. The lady that sat us didn’t even say “enjoy your meal”. For a high end restaurant, all staff should be on their game. The manager did make sure to greet us and wish us a happy new year. Our server was great, but the drinks that were suggested were just ok (margaritas). I was expecting delicious cocktails prepared by a mixologist at this type of establishment. The drinks were very average. Our appetizer had good flavor, but it was over cooked (calamari). The main entrees were delicious (we were informed it was a different chef that prepared the main dishes). It would be nice to have 1-2 sides included at the prices they are charging. All sides are separate and cost around $15 each. Our bill was just over $400 for two people. Overall, not worth the money! We will not go back.
