   We regularly dine at Hyde Park and our most recent visit was very disappointing. While the food was excellent the service was terrible and not up to what we have experienced in the past.

   The food is impeccably prepared. From the lobster bisque to the Caesar salad, the flavors were diverse, robust and a joy to experience. We had a little trouble with the potatoes gratin coming in partially cold, but they addressed it immediately.

   Filet should have been cooked right the 1 st sent back. too rare for medium and the time it took to get it back my spouse was done with her DINNER !!! A Steak house should be professional in Steak Cooking

   The bone in ribeye steaks my son and I ordered were fantastic. My wife’s ribeye steak was well over cooked. The waiter came to the table and saw easily that it was medium well as opposed to medium rare plus. When they brought her steak back it was extremely rare. She couldn’t eat it. They ended up taking her steak off the bill. But everything else we ordered was excellent- French onion soup, lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail. Wonderful service as well.

    Sorry, don't know where you get your beef from, I'd suggest somewhere else, try Walmart. I've never had a steak from Walmart the was as chewy, full of tendons and grissel as the Burbon age steak that I had at Hyde Park steak house. Sorry, but it was really bad! Never have had this problem at a Texas Roadhouse. I've eaten thounds of steaks in my time. It was taken off my bill. Otherwise the service was great. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

    This was a terrible experience. We saw they offered seating until 10 pm, and we came in a bit after 9:30 pm. We were actually early for our 9:45 reservation. After making the reservation since our plans changed at the last minute causing us to come here, the hostess called us to inform us that the last seating was at 10 pm so be sure to get there by then. Sure, fine, we arrived much earlier than that. We even asked if we would be okay and she said yes. We know at steakhouses like this you can normally have a full dining experience even at the last reservation. We arrived and there were still people in the restaurant, but the staff clearly did not want us there that “late.” On a Friday night no less. We were rushed to order, our entrees were brought when we still had our salads, the server offered to box up the food while one of us was clearly still eating, and we were not offered dessert at all. While eating, at like 10:15 pm, someone started literally banging cast iron dishes around the kitchen, and we were seated at a booth right by the kitchen. This went on for almost 10 minutes. It’s fine to clean up a little, but I’ve never heard that much commotion in a restaurant while several tables were still seated before. To add insult to injury, I was given a blue rare steak when I ordered medium rare. They fixed it, but the manager was not very apologetic. We very much got the impression our entire meal that we were unwelcome and unwanted there. At the Hyde Park in Columbus, we got delayed due to hockey traffic and ended up there late, and we still got full service - we were not pushed through our meal at all and we were offered dessert.If a restaurant does not want to seat tables late, do not open reservations. The hostess could have told us not to come, and I guess we shouldn’t have after she called us, but we did not know that this restaurant operated in this manner. The sad part is that we did not even have the last reservation and we were still treated so poorly.

    Our first time at the restaurant. Took my wife there for her birthday. They had a card on the table signed by the staff. It was nice that they offer an early menu with smaller portions but still outstanding. The meal was finished off with a special dessert with a candle for my wife. Just a perfect evening!

    The best dinner out. Our server and her partner were so attentive but also gave us space to enjoy our night out together. Our food was to die for. Everything came out timed perfectly. It was such a perfect experience to celebrate my husbands birthday.

    Chris, Kay, and the rest of the staff made our anniversary dinner special. All of the little touches added up to a superior experience. From all of the staff making sure to say happy anniversary, to a card signed by all the staff, we couldn't have asked for more. The food was incredible as always. Can't recommend this place highly enough for special occasions.

    Valentines Day dinner. May was fabulous. We have been there a few times and the service has not been good or the food. Tonight they hit it out of the park. Kay made our evening wonderful. It’s fun to joke, and have someone with a great sense of humor. She made the evening perfect!

    This was our first time dining with Hyde Park and we were not disappointed. Our waiter, Anthony, was amazing. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and he made sure everything was cooked to temperature. The food came out hot and delicious. The lobster Mac and cheese was so amazing and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

    Both the food and the service were lovely. We found this restaurant to be worth the price for a special occasion. The only minor thing was that the ladies room needed attention. Overall we had a wonderful evening.
