Great customer service and food... hopefully some items will return on the menu soon

The ambiance was nice but the score goes with the noise. Our backs were to the kitchen which was open - it was loud and not in a nice way. It wasn't crowded, they could have seated us someplace else.

The service and food was great!

Mentioned our anniversary when making the reservations - the hostess gave us a card and many of the staff members came by with good wishes.

Well the manager and host were really kind to me, i was late for my reservation and they kept the restaurant open for me and also gave me a free shot of macallan18, the food was delicious i enjoyed it and will be back

Anniversary

We went for or 20th wedding anniversary. We started with the jumbo shrimp which was great. I also recommend the wedge salad. My wife hade the filet and i had the ribeye. They steaks were cooked perfect. The Orin Swift wines are a great compliment to the meal.

Christian was our waiter and he was awesome; knowledgeable and friendly.

Our server Sean M was awesome, the hostess was scattered but it was busy. The drinks were really good, the grass fed steak was not great but, mgmt did well with addressing it. The Cabrerra steak was a little fatty but tasted very good. Sautéed garlic spinach was good, mashed potatoes were good, and the Mac&Chz we had was great. Apple pie lived up to the hype. Overall pretty good. The value was what you would expect from a place of this caliber. We will definitely try it again.

Service was a little rough to get going and on the slow side the rest of the night - not in line with the pricing the restaurant charges. Ribeye was excellent, lava cake overcooked.

Our appetizer and drinks were amazing. I had never been there before but my husband had so he specifically said very light butter on the steak. When we got the steak it was very salty, we assume because of the butter. Our service was not the greatest. After every course we sat quite awhile with dirty dishes in front of us. The waiter knocked over my water, which spilled on me and all over the floor. His comment afterwards was at least it wasn't wine.

Demetria is amazing and really connected with us while letting us enjoy our meals. Manager came over and was very pleasant. Food immaculate. Can't wait to go back.

This place truly lived up to its ratings! The service and food was outstanding. We reserved a private room that was so cozy and pretty much sound proof. I would recommend this restaurant for any private event.

Food was top notch. Service was great. Only issue is we waited a long time for desert, but the manager took it off the bill (and it was really good).

We had a wonderful experience at Hyde Park, from drinks in the bar all the way through dinner and dessert! Will be back!

My husband and I dined at Hyde Park last evening. The food was good, as always. The service was ok, there seemed to have been confusions with the staff when they delivered food to the tables.... then lady who was refilling water at the table next to ours bumped into my chair twice, didn't even apologize once. Also, we asked for both of our leftovers to be packed but when we got home, we realized the filet, the important part of our leftovers, was missing from our carryout bag. The place was packed so we understand how busy the staff was but the service definitely could be improved.

Had reservations at 4pm when restaurant opened. Didn’t get sat until after 4:30pm. Front hostess sat other walk-ins before me.

Customer service was amazing from the point when you stepped into the restaurant! Everyone was amazing and so was the food. The manager on duty was one of the sweetest women I’ve ever met! Will definitely return.

Great food, great service. I recommend the lobster mac and cheese, as well as the lobster bisque!

We had a great evening the staff was very attentive and the food was excellent!

Dinner was good from start to finish. Our reservation was @ 6pm and service was perfect until about 45 minutes into our meal. The restaurant got a little busy and our server had multiple tables. This is not a complaint, just an observation. We were not in a hurry and just enjoyed our meal and time together. We will return, even though is almost a 2 hour drive.

Excellent! Went during Birmingham restaurant week so it was quite crowded but great service & great food! Our waitress Missy was spectacular!

Overall very good. Waiter was a bit overly anxious to do well. She tried to hard sell me another wine than the one I have chosen, suggesting it’s would be the better one (It’s only $20 more and much better”). I replied thanks for the suggestion, I know both wines and I love the one I have chosen and she kept insisting (my choice was $170, so not really an inexpensive wine). It was borderline annoying.
Then I suggested Tuna Tartar (I love their Tuna Tartar), but she suggested I shouldn’t take it as it is no good. The other thing was that she stopped by several times trying to engage in a conversation, which disrupted my conversation with my guest. I suggest that waiters should be more discrete and not trying to control what I order and trying conversations. I mean a little bit small talk to be welcoming and friendly is ok, but not so intrusive. Very annoying.

It was just ok. The steak was good but nothing to write home about and the bread was literally frozen in the middle despite being told it was fresh out of the oven. Also, our waitress just kind of ditched us after dinner. Never came back to check on us and we finally had to get another server to bring us the bill after waiting for a while.

We ordered a couple appetizers and then then 35 day dry aged ribeye and Australian wagyu filet and some sides for the main course. First issue was that the steaks and sides came out 30 seconds after our appetizer. Literally didn't even have a chance to try the appetizer before the steak came out. They said they could hold the steaks for a few minutes, but what use is that? We told them it's fine, steaks can stay but after checking both, they were undercooked so we sent them back. Both were rare. One should have been med rare and the other medium. Upon the steaks coming back, one was med rare as it should have been, the other was medium in spots and med well in others. The waitress apologized and was very nice, but these are issues that a high end steak house shouldn't be having. Ultimately, there are better places to get a $70 steak.

My husband was very satisfied with his steak dinner, was just as he requested. Kudos!

Started off badly when you get seated 30 minutes after your 7:00 reservation. Our server had an edge to her whenever she spoke to us and was extremely inattentive. If a restaurant is going to offer a special 3 course meal, you should still expect great service. I can honestly say I don’t care to return anytime soon.

The service was great, we celebrated my son's birthday with family and the food was also great a good time was had by all!
