Food was prepared well , just not exactly what we were expecting . We enjoyed the experience
Food was ok. Had a better meal there a month ago. Fries were pieces and parts not served fresh and hot.
Appetizer was over cooked. Service was ok but just basic did not go out of her way to make us feel special about being there. There are so many restaurants in Savannah to choose from. I will be hesitant about trying it a third time.
A brunch must when in Savanah
Deliciously prepared food, albeit rather small portions.
Ahi tuna and pimento cheese appetizers were outstanding. Scallops and wreckfish were delicious and presentation was beautiful. Apple cake for desert was perfect ending. Best meal in Savannah
Husk live up to the hype. My meal was spectacular ans our service was exceptional. I would recommend to anyone
Food was exquisite and well-presented. Service was Superb. Wreckfish, flank steak, boc choy and pecan tart were all delicious.
We were 3 for dinner. The food and service were very good. However the music playing on their sound system was so loud we had difficulty carrying on a conversation without practically shouting.
My wife are in town for a quick getaway
Excellent food and service! Always happy when we come to Husk!
Anniversary but all they did was say Happy Anniversary. Great food. Amazing combinations…..how do they think these delicious combinations up?
Our server was fantastic! She deserves to be mentioned as it made our experience
This was the best meal we had in Savannah, beating out The Grey by far!
Wonderful meal at Husk. Our server Jesse was amazing. He answered all our questions, offered suggestions and was very attentive. Highly recommend a stop at Husk when in Savannah.
This was an excellent dining experience. We had Sunday brunch with another couple and had a nice corner area where we could talk quietly. The food was delicious. I had breakfast with soft scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuit with gravy, and half a Satsuma. The eggs may have been the tastiest I've ever eaten.
The wait staff was very considerate and allowed us to stay for over an hour after we had finished eating. We were the last to leave the restaurant.
I highly recommend it and I will return.
We were in Savannah for an anniversary trip. My brother had been to Husk in Charleston and said it was the best shrimp and grits he had ever eaten. I concur. So delicious. My husband had eggs Benedict. Also fantastic.
Visting Savannah from Charlotte North Carolina and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stop by for a quick lunch. Made a reservation through OpenTable…we got there a little early… They were so happy to accommodate us we got a great table right away. Or meal was phenomenal. The peach and chocolate sticky bun knock out socks off… Then we had the Woods’ two-year ham. Shrimp and grits and a hot fried chicken were bomb too.
Catching up with a friend that moved to Savannah years ago
Had such a lovely brunch for my birthday on the covered patio. They had heaters available and the staff was great. Excellent food!
Our experience at Husk was fantastic, our server was highly educated and gave fabulous recommendations, we made Thai pit stop on a drive from NY to FL and after 13 hours in the car, our server curated a meal starting with apps to entrees with a new favorite bottle of wine. The ambience was great, casually sophisticated and quiet. Highly recommend and look forward to dining at husk again
Always a great experience at Husk!
TIP - Ask for a table in the main dining room. We were seated in a side room that had no ambiance whatsoever - tables are bare - not even a candle to cheer them up.
If you order right the food can be amazing. Portions are small and that is reflected in the pricing.
I had a fish dish that had raw turnips in it. My fish was raw in the middle and had to be returned to the kitchen.
I think the food is overrated. It was well prepared and presented but the flavors for me were just not there.
Sorry wanted to love it
Overall, a well-prepared meal with interesting pairings. I had the wreck fish, with turnips and caviar, which I requested to be cooked through, and it was beautifully done and moist. My husband had the flank steak with a sweet potato log; he said the steak was a little tough and the sweet potato log did not have a sweet flavor but was bland. The appetizer spaccatini was interesting but a little too lemony and the potatoes a bit too crunchy. The dessert, Apple Cake, was delicious; not overly sweet. The service was excellent. The room was a little too cold. I'd suggest they turn up the heat.
Food was very good!
Incredible food and great waitress. We had a wonderful time and I am going to try to recreate some of the food (especially the butternut squash salad). Made a special occasion even better.
The good was very different vey fresh our drinks were an expected surprise
Our waitress seemed preoccupied and not that eager to in gage wish she would have been a little friendlier and helpful with describing our choices. But with that being said would return again
Very good food. Sat at the bar
Outstanding service and our food was second to none!
First time at Husk and was not overly impressed at all. The facility is beautiful and is wonderfully decorated, but that's about the end of the rave reviews for me. Please do not misunderstand, the food was good, it just did not "WOW" any member of my family (party of four). Three of us had the flank steak (all had it prepared medium) and another had the halibut. Just plain old, "Meh" was the consensus across the board. I do not feel that what was served on the plate was worth the $38 charge per plate and that is a rarity coming from me. I have had far more pricier meals with just a party of two, so paying for a very good meal is not an issue for me, but felt that Husk did not get the right combination of value and portion size. All in all, I likely, would not go there again as I was so under impressed and Savannah has a multitude of fine dining choices throughout the city. Sorry to say but this Southern Restaurant did not live up to its acclaim.
Beautiful old building in the heart of Historic Savannah that was renovated into a delightful restaurant with an eclectic Southern menu. Serving locally sourced ingredients Husk delivers a delightful, flavorful meal at a good value. The only complaint I had was their choice in music the night I was there. A great choice for a romantic couples dinner, or family with older children.
Lost their mojo. After enjoying Husk so much both after their opening and re-opening, we have continued to visit despite a deterioration in both fare, service and management over the last three visits, at least. Today we realized that we had never visited somewhere so often and still be treated like an out of town tourist to be rushed in and out after handing us our check. Too bad...
Cozy atmosphere with excellent service and delicious food.
very good. Excellent actually. Lady next to us was a little sauced.
Creative ingredients, good service , nice ambiance .Everything was good but somehow just missed the mark .
Ordered the seafood tower and it was delicious!
Service was excellent!
Wonderful setting and great food. I was afraid that it would be too noisy but we were not seated in the room with the bar, so it turned out to be awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable server too.
The crudo was out of this world, a perfect combination of delicacies to make a fireworks in your mouth.
Delicious. We enjoyed every aspect of the meal. Cocktails were Devine.
Food amazing, service amazing. We sat outside and it was cold and they had 2 heaters for 6 tables. I would think they could get more since it’s a nice restaurant.
