The food and ambiance delivered perfectly! Our waitress was exceptional and demonstrated a level of professionalism and engagement that is becoming a lost art in the service industry. We loved our dinning experience!
One of the best restaurants I’ve been too. Absolutely loved everything from start to finish. Service, food, drinks and ambiance was perfect. Hoping they open up a location in Tampa, FL. Will definitely be back!
I was disappointed on the menu. There were 4 entrees to choose from, that is it. Cornbread was cold and burnt, hard to do both at the same time, but that was what we got. I had been to Husk in Nashville and Charleston before and was expecting a much better meal and experience
Did the brunch on Sunday. Menu variety and service was spot on. Sat on the porch and highly recommend.
Food well prepared and served at proper temps. Would definitely recommend but suggest making a reservation if possible.
Great food, great service and the restaurant is fabulous. The bar is exquisite.
We’ve been to Husk a couple times before the pandemic and we thoroughly enjoyed both times before; the food, service and atmosphere were all spot on.
This time was very different. The service and ambience were unchanged, still as great as what we’ve experienced in the past. But the star of the show, the food, was very disappointing - and some parts of it were damn near dreadful. First, the charcuterie was actually OK. A lot of quality meats with crackers and mustard to go with it. But for the love of all things holy, who serves cheese-less charcuterie??
The cold shrimp appetizer was excellent, very tasty. But the cornbread, the pork dish I had and the duck breast my wife had were all unbearably salty. No hyperbole here, they were well executed otherwise actually, but the salt content in each of them was way more than gratuitous. The portions for the main meals were much smaller than my wife and I remembered from before. It seems that the portion sizes were cut by a third. I get that we’re in a pandemic now and businesses have to make adjustments to compensate for spacing out the tables and so forth. The portion sizes were only mildly disappointing, I get it, times are tighter. But there’s no excuse for food that salty at a restaurant like this (or even at a greasy spoon for that matter). Sorry to say we won’t be returning after last night’s visit.
We had a wonderful evening at husk in Savannah. Ambience was amazing, food was very good and service was impeccable. They are taking COVID-19 very seriously and you will feel safe there. We look forward to coming back!
Loved eating at Husk. We sat on the porch and it was just delightful. The food was incredible - we had the swordfish and shrimp and grits. We were also very pleased with their COVID protocols!
So nice to finally eat at Husk! It was everything I’d been told it would be. Food was amazing! Service couldn’t have been better!! Does not disappoint!!! Already looking forward to coming back!
Wonderful evening at Husk. Ate dinner on the porch with a beautiful view of historic neighborhood where the restaurant is located. cocktails and appetizers were amazing.
Great Food and Service !
Fantastic experience all around.
This was our favorite dinner in Savannah. Every dish was taken to the next level and truly memorable. All of the food was outstanding but my husbands smoked pork and eggplant really stood out, as well as the curried okra & eggplant and squash Caesar. We also loved the shrimp & grits and grilled Cobb. We ate on the spacious patio but the restaurant is beautiful inside, it’s a rebuild of a historic house that was destroyed by a fire. Plan ahead and make a reservation for Husk so you don’t miss out.
Fabulous service! And great local food.....enjoyed all of it!
Great food wine and service. Overall a superb evening experience.
Thia place is amazing , you have to go!
Menu is interesting. Food is good. Bourbon list is amazing. However, not a wow experience.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Beautifully renovated historic home, southern hospitality and delicious food.
Beautiful restaurant, food looks deceptively simple but has massive flavor. Can recommend any time.
Go here!! The ambience sets the tone for this place. It’s a beautiful location. Services was everything. Food was perfection. Top shelf, specialty liquor. Get the dessert whatever it is! Can’t wait to return!
Overall, the experience was not what we expected. Part of this is on us, we were not expecting such small portions for Supper. However, on top of this we were seated in the Bar area (even with a reservation stating we are celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary) and it was loud and off putting. The waitress while friendly kept pushing drink orders on us and when she finally realized we were sticking with water she wrote us off. While the food was good, we will not be going back for the over priced "experience".
Delicious food and great ambiance.
The food was delicious, ambience was wonderful. Incredibly unique and delicious dishes. Our waiter was a bit snooty he acted like I was stupid when I mispronounced vadouvan. He had no warmth or charm. He knew we were celebrating a 50th birthday and did nothing to make us feel special.
Rebecca was our server and she was outstanding!! She knew the menu, ingredients, and her recommendations were excellent. The swordfish and charcuterie board were standouts! We sat outside and felt safely distanced. Thank you for the amazing night out!
I was blown away despite a few glitches.
First of all, the place is stunning! We ate
In the large room upstairs in a half circle
Booth across from the bar. I took the
waitresses advice and I was glad I did.
I started with the tuna sashimi which was
Very good. The whole time I ate it though,
I thought it needed some avocado mouse or
Something but it was very fresh and a great
presentation. Then! The duck entree arrived!
It was “hands down” one of the best dishes I’ve
ever had. And while my friends tried to preempt my selection With the reasons why they don’t like duck,
I was quickly in heaven! The char was spectacular
And the flavor exceptional. The only criticism was
It was only luke warm. I got past it!
Hats off to Savannah Husk! Great dinner!
We had an awesome evening! Libby, our server was fantastic! I'll definitely be back soon and will refer all of my guests to Husk as the #1 priority restaurant in the city. Simply Marvelous!
We had a wonderful meal on the porch. It was relaxing and we had a wonderful server Emma. If in Savannah make a reservation and go. We will be back.
Great experience! Was in Savannah on vacation and ended our stay with the restaurant and it was a beautiful fair well. Great service from start to finish. Food was delicious. Some of the best oysters I’ve had. Entrees were very good as well. Next time have to save room for dessert and make this a middle of the trip stop because would’ve loved to have tried some cocktails but had a 4 hour drive back right after dinner. Definitely would go back whenever we go back to Savannah!
Our family of 5 was seated in the bar rather than dining area so it was a little noisy. We were on vacation from California. Manager Regan was our server and “sommelier” as they were short-staffed and he was excellent! Food was very tasty with a nice presentation but SMALL portions. Nice place for a date but if you’re really hungry you might want to go elsewhere unless you want to order lots of sides and dessert.
Food is very good and the building is beautiful, but the portions are small and the service is slow.
Inventive menu, fresh ingredients, lovely atmosphere set in a grand old building.
This was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Incredibly creative and different for a reasonable price. We’ll be coming back anytime we’re in Savannah!
I rarely leave reviews and I’m not a picky eater. I think I had high expectations of this restaurant and so i left really disappointed.
Hostess and wait staff were overwhelmed. They were very nice but it took a long time to get seated even with a reservation, get drinks and get food.
The food was okay. The smoked wings were very salty but moist. The dill dressing on the side was awesome. The butternut Caesar salad was unique and delicious. The pecan raviolo was unique but not amazing flavor wise. I appreciate the homemade pasta with mushrooms and smooth filling. There was just no pecan flavor. The heritage pork was way too salty and my husband didn’t like the side items with it. It was also dry even though it was cooked medium which was so sad for a piece of meat of that quality. The side grains were overpowered by the seasoning. The silver queen corn contributed no flavor to the medley... usually silver queen is amazing, juicy and sweet. Overall I’ve had better at family restaurants that are half the price.
Ambiance was loud. You can’t really help most of it from conversations and high ceilings but the music was loud too.
This was our second time to Husk. Husk does not disappoint! This time we ate in the ballroom in a fabulous booth and our server Libby was friendly, professional and gave us the history of the restaurant. Every single morsel was outstanding. Wine perfection. Libby helped make our dining experience a great end to our stay in Savannah. Thank you!!!
It was a disappointing experience. They were 30 minutes late to seat us for our reservation, the service was very slow and the food was just average. The restaurant seems to be in a state of confusion.
Libby was terrific! She knows everything about the place and the menu. Such a pleasure.
Great food, great atmosphere, southern charm. I would recommend Husk!
Food was excellent, although small portions. Service was superb.
Tuna tartare was really tuna jalapeño sashimi. Pork was very tasty but just a bit cooler temperature than expected. Apple pie dessert consisted of a crumble using freeze-dried apples, which although good, was not described that way. All in all highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time! The food was amazing, the ambiance and service fabulous. Absolutely recommend!
