Husk - Greenville
This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been too. Do not hesitate to dine here.
Everything was great! Our waiter was very kind & did a great job.
We love Husk! The use of local farms and the changing menu with the season makes it fun to frequent as the menu never gets old! Love the shrimp and grits!!!
This was our second time dining at Husk Greenville and our fifth time dining at Husk. Every meal has been amazing with service to match. Tonight at Husk Greenville I experienced the absolute best shrimp and grits I’ve eaten anywhere, including Any I’ve ever had in Charleston SC. Reminiscent of a beautifully spiced curry, the sauce was warm and spicy, with perfectly cooked shrimp and creamy rich grits. Decadent and beautiful. I could not ask for better food or service.
We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and our server Laura was incredible. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and definitely on our will visit aging list!
The food was fantastic! The waiting staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations.
We’ll preface this with the fact we’ve all worked in restaurants. Overpriced food for what you get. Glass of wine pour 4 oz with 9 oz price. Wait person a little sultry with answers to regular questions about menu/wine. Ambiance great but better Greenville eateries with the same ambiance.
We ate at the bar, which we normally do but this newer set of bartenders really did not provide a level of attentive service that I have come to expect at Husk.
Delicious food. Service was good, but not outstanding.
Great food, service and ambiance. We had a lovely experience at Husk. I highly recommend it!
I like the concept of local grown. Atmosphere was cool. Interesting menu choices.
First visit for a Saturday Brunch, and we were very pleased. Our server, Wes, gave us good pointers and delicious recommendations. Our food was tasteful and artfully plated.
Everything except delay between first and second courses was great and drinks at bar were pricey and mixed drink was only ok
The food was unique and delicious. We started by sharing an autumn soup - full of fresh, seasonal ingredients. The main course (pork chop for me and shrimp and grits for my wife) were flavorful and more than we could eat since we saved room for dessert. The pumpkin bread pudding was one of the best desserts I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere, service, food exceeded our expectations.
Delicious and attentive service by knowlegable staff.
Very small portion and chicken had skin on it. Yuck. Peas and carrots were hard. Taste was bad.
No way was it worth the $27 It was horrible Won't be back.
Very solid experience, my wife and I will be back!
Night and Day From previous visit. Our first visit was shortly after they opened in Greenville and I was so disappointed. The service was absolutely awful—attitude, arrogance, unsophisticated in every sense of the word. The food was ok, but over prepared and more about presentation then the taste and quality. Friends in town wanted to go do I went back. Brandon was hands down one of the best servers I have every had—knowledgeable, personable, passionate and really really fun. Food was well prepared and unique. If it’s been a while since you’ve been, go back!!!
Fun, social bar area makes any wait time very enjoyable. Very creative presentation, excellent fresh ingredients, waiter went out of his way to explain menu items and made good recommendations. Great atmosphere - highly recommend checking out this restaurant. Friends from Denver, CO loved it and it was our 1st visit... will return in future!
Best dinner we’ve had in a long time! We can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful, creative food using local ingredients. Knowledgeable and attentive wait staff.
Our dinners were absolutely delicious - pork chop, duck leg, catfish with all their terrific vegetables. Wonderful flavors.
Staff was unfriendly and rude. When our reservation was 10 minutes late and we asked the bartender about them she asked the host. As the host seated us she said she heard we were hangery! Her words exactly. Never once were we rude or impolite!
All the food was excellent but holy smokes, the desserts were fantastic! We had the Chocolate miso cake, the fried pumpkin bread and the fig leaf custard pie. An unforgettable dining experience.
Fantastic meal. Not your everyday brunch choices. Really enjoyed it
Everything was absolutely wonderful. Server was friendly, everything came out quickly but not too quickly/on top of one another, and food was exceptional.
We had high hopes but were very disappointed. Our primary objection was the saltiness of the food. The entrees and soup starter were very salty which overpowered and masked the actual flavor of the food. I would expect too much salt in chain establishments but not from a restaurant at this level and with its reputation. The soup was something I would expect to come from a can of Progresso soup. The service was only adequate. The only positive experience was that the cocktails were very good. The Greenville location was a destination restaurant for us and unfortunately we were disappointed.
Great food and atmosphere
Wonderful experience. Duck was amazing. Swordfish was amazing. Chicken breast was amazing. Need I say more?
Service was spot on, the meal was good and sides were cooked right. We’ll definitely be back.
It was our first time having the arugula salad and it was great! We also enjoyed some cornbread. Definitely recommend!
Everything at Husk is thoughtful and purposeful. It is such an experience!
Will eat there again. Good experience. Pricey
Food and service were exceptional. Imaginative use of farm to table ingredients and prep. Local cheeses were amazing. The four of use had entrees off chicken, fish , and beef. Wine and liquor lists are quite impressive as well. This was our first dinner experience at Husk but we have had a great brunch there as well.
Excellent food and service. Very high quality farm to table concept at an affordable price!! The whole experience was just perfect.
Wonderful experience...looking forward to our next visit!!!
Dinner was average. Shared a pumpkin soup, which was good. Catfish and shrimp and grits entrees. One glass of wine each. Portions fairly small, check was very large for an average quality meal.
The food was delicious and fresh. Our service was excellent. I would definitely go back and recommend to others!
Sad when you look so forward to a place and it let’s you down in the end. Be careful going before 6 pm it is super quiet with tons of empty tables. I had my 8 yr old daughter and they charged $15 for a half chicken breast and rice. So don’t bring young kids even early. When I said something to the waitress she should have just adjusted it, instead she wanted to create a scene with manager. Instead manager was worthless when I talked to him downstairs. Just sad and overrated and I’m in the business.
Husk had some of the finest ingredients I've seen in a restaurant in this area, and the food preparation was very high quality.
