Husk - Greenville
Downtown Greenville. It is the third outpost of the Neighborhood Dining Group’s
Award-winning restaurant, Husk. Led by Executive Chef Jon Buck, the kitchen reinterprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to cook and eat in
At Husk - Greenville, there are some rules about what can go on the plate – if it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door. The restaurant is as casual as it is chic, evoking a way of life centered on seasonality and respect for an area's agriculture and cuisine. It is a neighborhood gathering place for friends, and a destination dining spot for travelers, with a little bite of the South for everyone’s palates.
Great service and food for brunch with friends
Great food and service. I will go back there many times.
Great food !!
Nice twist on Southern cuisine. Chicken skins are a must as an appetizer. Nice ambience. Great service. Will definitely be back!
We love the ambiance downstairs, feels like home. Can’t start a meal without chicken skins!
You know we’ll be back.
Hands down the best restaurant in Greenville! Amazing food, creative, great ingredients but also highlights classics!! I can’t give enough praise to this delcious spot.
First time. Great bar with large selection of spirits - especially gin. Good service at bar.
Got seated about 40 minutes after reservation time and service was slow. Waiter was fine, food was good but after hearing some much hoopla about the place - frankly, a bit underwhelming.
Will give another visit
One of the best meals that I have enjoyed in a few years. Waiter was outstanding and the food was really done well. Great talent from the chef in blending the flavors. We had the Flatiron and the duch. The duck was wonderful and the flatiron steak was as good as they get. From the appetizers (oysters and the pimento cheese to the desert ( we shared a piece of Chocolate Chess pie and coffee) it as just really great experience. We certainly will be back.
Everything about our dinner was amazing but I will highlight my favorites. The ambiance was super cool and the food was impeccable. I believe I described my meal as a party in my mouth. The flavors of everything were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
The food and space are amazing. The service is just okay. Our server was great in the beginning, but clearly ready to turn our table after dinner. Very rushed and did not offer dessert or after dinner drinks. That being said, it is worth trying out for the wonderful food!
I love this place. The food is always spot on. Excited for my next visit.
Great food, cool building, excellent service- and all in a really nice downtown setting. Definitely will visit again.
Great experience as always. Samuel was a great server. Food was on point as always.
My husband and I had dinner at Husk on Friday, March 15th. We had tried for a long time to get a reservation, without success. I made a successful reservation through Open Table about a week ahead of time.
The place was great. Nice ambiance, food was great, service was impeccable. We would highly recommend Husk as an anytime restaurant. (Remember, it is farm to table). We suggest booking at least a week ahead of time. Holidays and special occasions, maybe even a month ahead.
You won't be disappointed.
Great menu that’s frequently changing. Nice atmosphere. Service is very good. Thanks Tanya!
Absolutely fabulous food. Baked Swordfish and lightly fried catfish cooked to perfection. Friendly but not overbearing service, good wine recommendations. Expensive but worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back!
Are you ever disappointed by highly-rated restaurants serving meals that aren’t that special? Well Husk more than lived up to its reputation. Chef Brock and his team have created a wide range of delicious, creative southern dishes...each better than the next. Our server Chris did a great job guiding us to the best items creating an evening to remember.
I was very pleased with our first time to Husk Greenville. The service and food were exceptional. I look forward to dining there again. The pick 3 menu is reasonably priced and the portions were generous.
An amazing eating experience! Our server, Brandon, was very accommodating, but gave us our space. The food was phenomenal! Everything from the ambiance to the serveware to the flavors to the locally sourced items were spot on!
Amazing. Every dish was fantastic!
Every part of the meal was excellent. The pig ear lettuce wraps are a must! The swordfish and duck were SO delicious.
Excellent service , staff extremely friendly . Great fresh local sourced food . Outstanding environment .
It was my 23rd birthday. I raved about husk to my mother and begged her to go to dinner her to celebrate. Even up it in my reservation notes. I was not acknowledged about by birthday even after my mother told our server. The man host didn’t pay us snu
Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Not only did the manager come over, but they brought us a complimentary champagne toast, even though we had not ordered any alcohol. We have been to Husks in other cities, but this is now probably our favorite.
My wife and I have been to Husk one time previously and we had some foodie friends in town that we wanted to treat. We watched Sean Brock on the new Chef's Table season before coming in to dine and we were certainly not disappointed. From custom cocktails, to the fresh bread, oysters, skillet cornbread, duck, swordfish, and Tennessee beef...nothing was anything short of exceptional. Brandon treated us so well and ensured we had the best dining experience Greenville has to offer. Could not recommend this dinning experience more highly.
Took my wife there for date night and we both loved it. We did have a reservation and showed up a little early so we sat at the bar until our table was ready which was nice. The bartender was great with his mixology and knowledge of drinks and liquors that it made it easy to experiment when ordering something different than the regular drink. We ended up just staying at the bar to eat. I will definitely be going back!!!
Overall it was very good. I got the ribeye for two. It was a little more fatty than I would expect but excellent flavor. It was also a thinner cut than I would expect for two people. The service was great. We did not try everything we would like on the menu. I would definitely go back.
Sam was a great server and gave fantastic service. Food was top notch as always. A five star experience all around.
Husk was outstanding with great food and service. It’s a little pricey but excellent for a unique dining experience with ingredients you know.
Excellent food. Have no idea how they made the sauce for my tile fish- which is a high compliment.
Fantastic food,service and experience!
Always creative southern food...so yummy!
First time and I was not disappointed. Food and service were both incredible. Vegetables out of this world.
I think this was an off night so we will try it again. Took my friend out for birthday dinner and her meal was undercooked and so many ways. The service is really slow. We didn’t get drinks with our meal. I realize that it was a Saturday night so it was busy. We have no trouble taking our time but for the prices you’re paying I expected to be taken care of better. However, the manager and server were very apologetic and compensated us for the overall experience. The bar tender was great while we waited for our table and gave good drink recommendations. I hope my next time is better!
Great casual atmosphere, with incredible food. Highly recommend.
Wow! I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience here was! the food was absolutely to die for and lived up to the hype that we had anticipated! Chase was our server and made our experience so amazing and memorable! We had the following dishes- crispy pork belly tacos, pimento cheese, cornmeal chicken skins (wow! Try them with the pimento cheese- game changer !) winter salad, shrimp & grits, and the grilled beef in the shiitake mushroom broth. We left so full, but that was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. When I put in my reservation on Open Table I put that we were celebrating our anniversary, Husk even personalized our menus writing “Happy Anniversary” on them and brought out a champagne toast- wow! That my friends, is hospitality! Thank you Husk Greenville for such an amazing experience! We cannot wait to come back!
Easily the best dining experience we have had in Greenville. The appetizers were delightful. The fried chicken skins with hot sauce was unexpectedly fantastic. The pork belly lettuce wraps devine. The Gin&Tonic was the best we’ve had in years. The gin was barrel-aged/rested so it had a very different flavor. The Tennessee beef was very well prepared with vegetables that were flavored nicely. Dessert was chocolate ice cream with peanuts and caramel corn. The caramel was flavored with Miso. It was crazy and delicious. Wonderful stuff give it a try
Service was excellent; waiters were helpful and knowledgeable without coming across as upselling. The food was incredible, especially considering the prices and portions. We ordered several cocktails, multiple appetizers, entrees, and dessert with zero complaints. Can't recommend this place enough!
