The minute you enter Hunter the Restaurant, the welcoming staff and stylish decor set the tone for a fabulous dining experience. Sliced baguette, green olives, prosciutto and fresh butter are delivered as you order aperitifs and peruse the menu. My husband and I shared the tuna tartare while waiting for our son to arrive and it was fresh and tasty. The menu choices were varied and appealing-I had the branzino which was exquisitely prepared and served atop a frisee salad with a lemon tomato tarragon concasse. We ordered the mashed potatoes to share and they were divinely creamy. My son had the strip steak “best” he ever had and my husband had the swordfish special-we were all very happy. For dessert we shared the profiteroles -a perfect finish to a great meal. Hunter came out himself to say hello and he is a humble and engaging chef. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Fathers Day dinner was terrific! Swordfish, Tuna, and Halibut were enjoyed by all! Special rigatoni pasta with spicy sausage was outrageous! Francisco and Leo took very good care of us and as always, made our experience memorable.

We made reservations for our anniversary well in advance and requested a romantic table for two at 6:30. When we arrived, we were greeted by the maître D/Manager; when we asked for one of the four booth tables none of which were set up for four all of which was set up for two he told us he couldn't do it because he had reservations coming in and needed us to be out by 710 setting the stage for an uncomfortable unwelcoming experience. to make matters worse with the threat of thunderstorms, which in fact did occur, he offered us outside seating where no one was, and then the skies opened as well. when i told him it was our anniversary he said he would make an exception and gave us one of the 4 available booths. on a positive note our wait staff was terrific and eventually made amends by bringing us an anniversary dessert on the house. We were thankful for that.

The decoration is tasteful, the waiters are very friendly and the food is delicious! A highly recommended restaurant!

Best Sesame Crusted Tuna ever! ❤️❤️❤️They always accommodate with our favorite table. Friendly, well-timed service. Every one of us loved thier dish. Halibut, Veal chop parm, Cod loin. All perfect. Do not leave without trying the Madeline’s. Perfecto!
