One of my favorite places. Great atmosphere, friendly service. Food is great. A little pricy but really enjoyable experience.

Deceiving your clients by trying to pass off a Porkchop for a Veal Chop is the lowest form of desperation…self preservation at the expense of others. Very disappointing…We were huge proponents of your establishment and expression but you’ve lost us. Very sad

Hi, Rich. I'm so sorry that you had a bad experience here at Hunter Restaurant. I understand that we got the temperature wrong on your veal chop, but I can assure you that it was indeed a veal chop and not a pork chop. we do not carry pork chops here unless it is a special item. On this particular day we did not even have pork chops in the house. we would never deceive you or anybody else. If you would like to come back for a drink on the house, and or to discuss this matter, we would love to see you again. Best Regards, Chef Hunter

The service was excellent. Every table was filled, yet the waiters and staff were attentive and wonderful. The food was good. BUT the noise level was off the charts, almost painful. we could not hear each other at our table for four. Perhaps this is due to the structure - no carpeting, high ceilings, but the acoustics were awful. This was a Saturday night. May be better to go during the week when less crowded. But I will definitely not go back on a weekend.

Hunter is a beautiful restaurant. The food and service are excellent. We have been there many times and enjoyed introducing this restaurant to our friends who had never been to it before.

This restaurant is very decorous and has excellent food, a nice wine list, and great service. At times, it can get a little loud at peak hours, but when I went recently it was great. They have one night where bottles of wine are half price, which is great, and the restaurant was nice enough to comp us a dessert for our birthday guest. We all plan to go there regularly -- try it!!

This is a spectacular restaurant with absolutely wonderful food. Each dish is like a work of art. The chef/owner, Hunter Wells, is beyond talented, inventive and personable. He also gave us some wonderful suggestions for hidden gems on the wine list, as well as excellent values. The restaurant itself is drop dead beautiful, with soaring natural wood finishes, as well as a magnificent fresco above the bar. The menu offers something for everyone, and the atmosphere is always upbeat and happy.

I rarely write reviews. But this one was such a great dinner. Every plate was deliciously cooked to perfection and served with style and gusto. Our host Leonardo was excellent, and gave us great recommendations. Thank you. Great night out with my wife . Relaxed and very comfortable ambiance. We will be back for sure .
