Our first visit. The food was great, particularly the popovers which were some of the very best in the City. I had the burger which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the crab cake and the chopped wedge salad both of which she said were delicious. We will be back!!

Everything you want a steak house to be PLUS all tables get a basket of popover that are out of this world. Popovers are hard to find in NYC. I asked them to pepper crust my filet mignon and get black and blue. Pepper crusting is not on the menu, they took my special order and nailed it. Our waiter, Brian... exactly what you wish for when dining just before theater. Terrific. We will be back

Lovely setting and atmosphere, convenient location to the theater district, great food and service. We ran 30 minutes late and were still made to feel welcome and comfortable even though we also had a time constraint to make our curtain.

Be careful with your bill. We ordered the stuff lobster that said Market Price (MP). We asked the waitress how much it was and she said $120. When the bill came she switched it $140 and them said she told us the wrong price. Would. It change it back. Food was great but I don’t like the bait and switch tactic

Our two side orders were placed at the diagonal corner of our table for 4. Our table did not have any room to put the bowls in the center so I could serve myself. I could not reach the bowls. A solution would have been to put the massive steak platter elsewhere after showing off the display and re-plating it for a family style setup. Or provide deeper tables. And our waiter chatted so much with us, we didn’t have enough time to eat properly. Nice man, but somehow we barely had time for dinner.

The food and service was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. Crab cake, popover, Caesar salad were also phenomenal as well as the cream spinach and lobster Mac! Drinks and dessert top notch as well. Highly recommended!!

Not my favorite , for sure . The ambiance is good , very pretty. The menu seems comprehensive but the food is by far mediocre. And if you are allergic to something … they can’t manage cross contamination, so the menu options become very limited ( very limited ) . And .. hardly any vegetarian/ vegan options . The HF signature salad was overdressed and soggy , pasta was just ok and the chocolate desert was very dense , heavy and super sweet . Overall , I would not recommend this place
