I wouldn't recommend it if you are in a time crunch. Went for lunch and made it very clear we needed to be out in a timely fashion and the waitress was extremely slow. Sees they are short on wait staff.

Worse restaurant ive ever been to, save your time and money

Server was on point. Very pleasant. Ambiance lighting was beautiful. And, the food was exquisite!

This is my second time to hunt & Fish Club and unfortunately it may be my last. My first visit was exceptional but the second was extremely frustrating. I had a 7pm reservation and we arrived on time. The hostess said the table would be ready in just a moment and to have a seat by the bar. After waiting 45 minutes she remembered we were sitting there. We were just about to ask for our coats and leave. I have no problem waiting for 15 or twenty minutes on a busy Saturday night, but to just forget about you is unacceptable. The hostess did the right thing and ended up comping our dessert but unfortunately I was so aggravated the dinner was ruined. While at the bar we had two drinks each and that cost us over $50.00. The drinks should have been comped as well.

Our first visit here and it was worth it! The staff are all attentive without being intrusive. I would ask for Franco if I were you! Also, when the complimentary bread is one of the best pieces of bread I've ever had, I knew the meal was going to be excellent. Highly recommend. We had the filet, creamy mashed potatoes and asparagus. Delicious!

Not our first time to dine there and surely not our last. Always a great experience and the service there is great. Its nice to be in a place where even the workers seem to enjoy their job. And happy employees makes for happy customers. The decor is beautiful and romantic and fun. The food is perfection. This is a place for all occasions. I've done bday parties with friends. Romantic dates with my husband. This last time we took our kids 9 and 5 year olds and they said they love the place too. My son said he had fun lol. We all enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely take my kids back there with us. My husband and I had a romantic night. Thank you Hunt and Fish Club!🤗

I love our server Carlos. Hes been helpful with menu choices. Very knowledgable, friendly, courteous and professional. I brought my close friends whom I've never seen for 25 years. They had a great time and totally enjoyed their dinner

The waiter was very annoying he spit on my dates face the lobster man and cheese was not very good

This restaurant could be anywhere but it is in the theatre district! It is beautiful and a fine dining experience! The service was perfect and I wish we had more time to spend there. I highly recommend Hunt and Fish for everyone. I’ve been there on occasion without theatre and it’s a perfect date night, special occasion and a friends get together type of place.

The bartender essentially ignored me when I came to join my friends at the bar before dinner. Had to ask him four times for a drink. Ended up sending over a second bartender that he solicited from inside the restaurant. Finally got my wine.

I went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was out first time to the restaurant. My wife and I had a wonderful time! The food, staff and ambiance was a must share for all looking for a great restaurant! We are looking forward to visiting again. Thank you H&F Club Staff for helping us celebrate a joyous occasion.

I was here for a friend’s birthday, but despite making a request to be in a more quiet place in the restaurant, we were put in a crowded section, which I can try to understand. The meal was pretty mediocre for a restaurant at this price. Steak was over salted and there was no difference between medium and rare steak. Drinks were small in portion and alcohol level despite the price tag. I probably won’t return here. There are better places, even by Times Square.

Would not go back. The arugula salad was bland and the hanger steak was tough. Even for restaurant week - not worth it. The “gelato” tasted like store name vanilla icecream. We sat at 6pm and staff asked if we had show tickets. We did at 8pm- then we had to rush them to serve our dinner by 7:25 and our dessert by 7:35. Best part was the popover basket. Also they would bringing cocktail refills and bottled water that we didn’t order. They try to pad the bill.

It was Restaurant Week so choices were limited but excellent. My wife and I got to share our dishes. What I liked was the person taking our orders: when we got to dessert my wife picked the S'mores. I picked the sorbet. He said "are you sure...?" I tried the gelato, and got are you sure? He knew what my wife wanted from my dessert. Very nice move! Food was excellent and filing. Staff was very attentive but not overbearing. Definitely worth coming back to try the other great fish and meat options.

Great atmosphere, phenomenal food! It's a romantic setting but also great for an intimate dinner party with friends.

Two of us were 30 minutes early and were directed to the bar. The service there was prompt and superb. Upon the arrival of the other two party members we were directed to our table. The two people servicing us for the evening were congenial and well informed. Their affability made us very comfortable. We were serviced quickly at the table. Appetizers came quickly and as two of us were having veal chops we were advised that preparation time was about 40 minutes. The food was fresh as I expected. Two of us have been to the restaurant before, two not. We had an excellent evening enhanced by the young man and young woman servicing us. I would come again and recommend the restaurant very highly.

The experience just wasn’t what I expected. The food quality and portions wasn’t worth the cost. More so the flavor of the good. It could have been better.

I have been to many steak houses, many restaurants period... This place is not good. At all. Our server was very nice. The bartender was really nice also (and makes a great dirty martini). That’s all the positive I can say. The steak (the ribeye) was tasteless, boring and in no way soft or buttery or melt in your mouth good. The bacon was just a hunk of dry ham. The Brussel sprouts were swimming in vinegar. The lemon potatoes were fried, greasy and tasteless. The burrata was not smooth and milky, it was dry. The squash that accompanied it were tasteless. The bone marrow, dry and dull. The Mac and cheese was ok. Given the price point, this was a waste of time and money. With so many wonderful options in the city, you can absolutely skip this place. You aren’t missing anything.

Great dining experience! Wait staff was attentive but not oppressive. Brought us a small dessert in honor of the anniversary we were celebrating. Food was delicious. Went for restaurant week and found every part of the meal high-quality and delicious. The cocktails were also very good and very strong! Wish I could dine here more often.

Great choice for pre-theater! Loved my gnocchi- good food for anywhere, and a treat in the theater district- attentive staff who got us to the theater on time without making us feel rushed.

My third visit to this restaurant. The first reset in the bar, and the second two times in the restaurant. The service was spectacular the food divine and the staff could not have been nicer. I came here twice in one week before the theater they served us so quickly and we're prompt with the check as well. We will be back.

We celebrated a milestone birthday before attending a Broadway show.

The service from the beginning was bad. Gave lunch menu to one diner. Crumbing table while diners still eating. Waiter did not listen to dietary/allergic restrictions. Had to request to see a manager.

Hunt and fish club is a gem in a city full of restaurants. The food was great and the service was amazing as well. The ambiance was good. Definitely a place I recommend.

I asked for the salad to be first and I asked them to bring the shrimp appetizer as my main course when everyone else was served. They brought the shrimp dish first and when I told them I had asked for the salad first they took it off the bill. Very classy!
