Overall good but for a vegan restaurant but there were a lot of fried food… the ban mi was delicious but again, it had fried stuff in it. It didn’t feel like we had a wholesome meal. Service was good. I asked the manager why the name “Hungry Angelina” and he, as a manager, didn’t even know! Don’t get the matcha green cheesecake- it’s not worth it!

Food was very tasty. Menu choices were quite limited. Service was spotty. Our waiter just disappeared and started tending the bar after we ordered. Seating outside was cheap and a little uncomfortable. Food and drinks were good, but service and ambiance were lacking.

Loved the welcoming greetings and the space and food 10/10 Our server was a bit lacking in attention, but we all have our off days and I won't ever think twice before coming back. I do think your food and atmosphere is the best of any vegan restaurant I've been to. Thank you!!!!!

Was expecting healthy vegan food. The menu was comprised mainly of Impossible meat products and fired foods. Super disappointing to see a Matthew Kenny restaurant not offer some unprocessed plant based options. Our food was not only fired, but didn’t even taste good either.

Tasty vegetarian food but not necessarily healthy. We were all bloated for a couple days after eating there so I’m guessing the sodium content is high. Lots of dishes with Impossible Meat to mimic traditional meat dishes such as burgers; however, there is not a wide selection of actual whole, unprocessed foods such as vegetables, grains, legumes, etc. Cocktails are refreshing and creative.

We walked in in a windy day doors wide open and wind blowing in. Went to order drinks. They were out of all white wine. Out of the tequila drink. Then they were out of 2 of the 4 red wines. Ordered an old fashioned if they had the big ice cube-it came with lots of small ice. The bartender took a break and the waitress said, I’ll google a recipe and make drink myself. Cocktails were lousy. We ordered 2 of the remaining reds and were charged for 4 red wines in the bill. Food was good. Service mediocre. Doesn’t stand up to the Matthew Kenny reputation.

This was my first time going into a Vegan/vegetarian only establishment and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. We went in for Dine LB and got the sampler platter with our course meal and a cocktail. Food The sampler consisted of fried pickles, bao, and cauliflower wings. Everything was so delicious! The bao was fluffy and soft just like the bao you would get at any dim sum place, and the wings seasoned well with great texture. I hate pickles so no comment. Service Service here was SOOO slow despite it not being all that packed. Took almost 20 minutes for our ordered drinks to come and another 25-30 minutes for our appts to come out. Absolutely unacceptable. Regardless, our entry of the 'tuna' poke was yummy, though severely lacking in the vinaigrette, the savoriness of the dish needed some more tartness for the balance. The creme brulee was lovely and I have no complaints. We were also overcharged for our cocktail even though it was supposed to be $10. Regardless, I will still recommend this place as the food was indeed very good. The servers were nice enough so I'm willing to give them another go.

It was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were favorably impressed. The service was attentive, the menu varied and food tasty. We were outside a saw a beautiful sunset which added to our enjoyment. The wine and beer selection is limited but varied and both the wine and beer we chose was outstanding.

Horrible customer service, lack of awareness to assist customers. Employees chitchatting with each other the entire time. Having their backs to the customers. Employee eating lunch at bar area with others crowded around chatting. Had 3 different people help me. Spent probably an additional extra 25 mins longer there than expected just waiting for order to be taken, to get my check and then someone to pick up the check. This is my 2nd visit, first time wasn’t the best but this time was worst. The lack of full vegan restaurants are not easy to come by and to drive from LA to Long beach just to eat here but receive this type of service is unacceptable to me. Weather it matters to you, I will never return to this restaurant again

We always enjoy Hungry Angelina. We had the Buffalo cauliflower, burger, gnocchi, and mushroom flatbread along with cocktails and my friends were impressed that vegan food could taste so delicious. Dinner for three including appetizer, entrées and cocktails was 123.

Fairly short menu, but absolutely delicious food! Highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower to share….. and the crème brûlée was outstanding! Attentive friendly servers, even made us a jug of drip coffee at the end.
