Chris Wheeler’s innovative Modern British cuisine provides the perfect complement to Stoke Park’s rich 1000-year history. Chris has been at Stoke Park for ten years and in that time he has made our restaurant into “an experience you want to relive again and again” (At Home with Marco Pierre White). Since opening to the public in 2012, Humphry's has been awarded an impressive 3 AA Rosettes.

Humphry’s offers table d"hôte and à la carte lunch menus, as well as a three course dinner menu offering Modern British cuisine with a twist, featuring plenty of Chris’ signature dishes. The stunning decor, luxury ambience and panoramic views of the estate and lake deliver the perfect setting for a lasting experience.

Wonderful evening. Had the seven course tasting menu. Food was superb each course surpassing the previous. And the staff were so friendly as well as extremely professional. We have already made plans to return.

Lovely staff, delicious food, beautiful setting. Great place for a special occasion - especially if like us you welcome a quieter ambience. Would definitely recommend.

As soon as we got in we were looked after and given some little starters to have. The food was amazing and the service was great.

My friend and I had THE most amazing meal at Humphry’s. I only discovered Stoke Park recently and I’m moving to Berks but it’s worth making repeated trips back for! We had the sublime taster menu with wine pairing, preceded by a wonderful champagne cocktail (me) and beer for my colleague. Canapés to start, 7 courses and a sweet surprise to finish with coffee. A rare but very appreciated treat. Fine dining is meant to be savoured and this is fine dining at its best Wonderful setting, ambience, friendly attentive staff, creative and talented kitchen team and of course Chef Chris Wheeler at the helm. All I can say is don’t waste time, book in, this is a jewel in the culinary crown locally

I felt like the view was beautiful restaurant and the food was great I felt like the staff was really nice including the lady called Monique very professional and made me feel really welcome and everything that I instructed for our anniversary was well presented.

This is a fantastic place to visit. The location is stunning and the food is incredible. The tasting menu is amazing. Every single member of staff that spoke to us were very polite, friendly and welcoming. This was one of the best places I have even been to. I really recommend it for a special occasion.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Humphry's on Sunday. The service is excellent - they do their utmost to ensure that their guests have a delightful experience. The food is delicious with flavours and textures carefully balanced. I cannot commend Humphry's highly enough.

Lovely sunny evening pre dinner drinks outside at tables on lawn, amazing views, but very slow table service, and classically overpriced drinks. Table alignment and seating arrangement no sense of intamacy, more like a railway station waiting room. Service Station and Technology right behind table which could surely be housed more discreetly elsewhere in the room. Ambience improved as tables were occupied. Good Service in restaurant, excellent food, from pre starters to desert. All very well presented. Outside service, seating arrangements and early ambiance let down the food.
