Humperdinks on NW Highway in Dallas is a popular option for those who are searching for a great place to dine and spend some time with friends and family. This eatery opened in 1997 and it brews many of the beers that are available. People who visit love the items on the menu as well.

Humperdinks NW Highway serves an all-day breakfast menu as well with items such as the grilled Monte Cristo, breakfast tacos, steak & eggs and the biscuits & gravy.
The new menu card has taken a major step back. From a nice color, multi pages presentation, with the different grouping; has been replaced by a two page, just black and white cramped offering. Just because the print is on thicker paper, does not mean its better!
Went to watch the NCAA basketball championship game. Had a great time. Lots of big screen TVs and a good beer selection.
The food and drinks were very good and everyone from the manager to the waitstaff were great!
We had a group of 6 for Easter Brunch (4 adults, 2 kids). Everything was great. Our server was very friendly and personable. With one of the larger groups in the dining area she had some help from other servers and even the manager, which meant service was prompt. The food was very good. Atmosphere was great for everyone from the seniors to the kids. Definitely plan on coming back, whether for a small holiday dinner or just a night out.
Overall experience was this place is very run of the mill. If you like a TGI Fridays kind of place, this is for you. If you want an excellent dining experience with great food, look elsewhere. As with many other reviews on here the wait staff was slow and very inattentive. While the calamari was pretty good as an appetizer, I barely was half through it, when the entree of ribs arrived. I chose to get the onion rings instead of fries, and they were very greasy. I also had a Mojito to start with which was very weak, skimping on the alcohol. By the looks of desert on the menu, it didn't appear it was made in house and I chose not to. To top off the blah experience, the waitress didn't even give me the right bill, and had to go back and get the correct one. I won't be coming back.
I went here on a Sunday evening and other than the bar area, the restaurant was not very crowded. It took at least 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by my server and then another 15 minutes to bring my drink to me. The steak I ordered was unimpressive and looked nothing like the picture in the menu. I was out of water and beer and when the server finally came back to my table and I was able to order another beer, it took 20 minutes to bring it. I ordered the individual size Mile High Mud Pie for dessert which is $2 less than the full size. They brought out the full size and I told them it was just me and I only wanted the individual size. They took it away and 10 minutes later, they brought out a piece of the mile high pie that was literally 1/8 the size of the full size. There was no fudge on it like the full size had and it was really disappointing that they would give such a small, shoddy portion for only $2 less. I was not impressed with the food or service and would not return. This is my first completely negative review on OpenTable. I am disappointed that it came to this.
Great server, fast service, not too loud...will return
Wonderful food and service! I'm in a group in town for training and we've gone 4 times since coming here 2 weeks ago. Sometimes for dinner sometimes just for drinks, but all the time the staff is great and so much fun!
It was great to watch the Cowboys vs the Texan's. I'm sorry I do not remember our waitress' name but she was a small girl with a short haircut. She was excellent and I wish her well. My lady and I loved it.
The service in this place was poor at best but the food almost made up for it.
I will not go back and with all the options available make this a last choice.
Went there for soccer match, crowded but got seated within 10 minutes. Order food immediately, 1.5 hours later no food. C'mon you need to plan for a crowd, 101 p management have your Manager cook, leads whatever to address waiting customers.
Humperdink's is my kinda place. The food is good, but it doesn't pretend to try to be better than it is.
Definitely enjoyed the environment and the food. A great place to watch the playoffs and a great list of food options that didn't disappoint. Especially given the moderate prices, this place was good find in a great location. Not every night is top dollar steakhouse night and in the same locale is this great alternative. Will be back next time in the area.
Went for Easter brunch. Usually my visits are always positive but this time there were issues. Appetizers never were received. They offered stale cinnamon rolls to take home as their apology. The main course came out in waves. 4 came out on time and then the last 2 we waited for more than 5 minutes. We had to remind them for drinks and need for silverware. Very disappointing for a restaurant that usually provides good service.
Nice restaurant. Waitress took too long to bring bill but was helpful.
