Good food but expensive. Casual. Anna was super.
Very good as usual!
The butterfish is a must have
Great views of sunset. Enjoyed the fresh catch preparations. Will be back.
Great setting for dinner on the terrace, the service was great except a bit slow which was not bothersome considering the great views The food was extraordinary and such a treat.
It was good. Celebrating my birthday. Food was good but booth was not that comfortable and lots of families dining w small children
Awesome sunset dinner at Wailea Marriot. Portions a bit small, prices out of proportion to product. Will bypass in future.
Great good gel rest service outside, recognized our anniversary; we will be back!
Layout and appearance of restaurant was good. Service vibe was underwhelming starting with the hostess. Food was also very average. Appetizers: brussel sprout dish needs to be rethought as the cheese sauce is off putting; gyoza dumpling filling sucks. Caesar salad is over dressed. Entree: catch of the day is overpriced and not anything special. As a resident of Oahu, I’ve eaten at Roy’s restaurants many times and am a fan. HK was a bit of a disappointment.
Was ok lacked atmosphere
Beautiful view with delicious food. Specialty cocktail not particularly good. Service was outstanding. It was a delightful dinner.
We had a dinner with 4 people for my birthday. Except for one incident, service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was great. As for the food, three of us had fish and short ribs for mains which were very good. However, my wife had the LOCAL BABY ROMAINE SALAD with chicken, which she found was a great disappointment. There was absolutely nothing special about the salad and the chicken was dry and tasteless. We also found the appetizers we ordered (calamari and dumplings) ho-hum. We would recommend the restaurants with the caveats that you choose your dishes carefully.
The food and service were great. However, the ambience outside did not match the ambience inside. Outside seemed like picnic tables had been put out. No candles on tables or table cloths. The inside seemed much more classy for the price of the meal. One noisy group next to us really ruined the atmosphere too. They were only having drinks and probably should have sat in the bar area.
We were in Maui on vacation and we’re advised by the hotel concierge that this was a place we would enjoy for dinner.
The food was excellent and our server (Steve) made the evening a real fun experience. We have told several l people we met here already how good it was.
They don’t take reservations and we waited almost one hour but we forgot about that after we sat down in their outside area and Steve walked as through the menu.
Highly recommend this place for delicious food and good service
They have unfortunately confused “Humble” with mediocre… The food is bland the service is average and not inline with the high-end pricing. We originally had a dinner reservation, upon arrival learned it was “happy hour”, but you can’t get happy hour drinks and appetizers in the dining room. We decided to move to the bar to take advantage of happy hour prices ($8 for a glass of wine vs $18 in the dining room), with the intention of returning to the dining room (5 feet away) after drinks and starters. After experiencing the drinks and starters we decided to leave. The calamari was tasteless and chewy, the “spicy” chicken wings were bland. The ribs were pretty good, but overall sub par food and average cocktails. There are many ways you can spend several hundred dollars on dinner on Maui, I would skip Humble Market.

Dinner with friends
Our meals were delicious and creative and beautifully plated. Our waiter rushed us a bit to choose a dessert while we were still eating our entrees. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience.
Lanai was upscale. And the server with bandages on the back of his head talked so fast that we had difficulty understanding him. He was not very nice either.
Keilani was outstanding
Just meh…the ambience was lacking, no music or anything to fill the empty space. The food was ranging from ok to mediocre. Burrata app was good, ribs were tender but so salty they were almost inedible, the dumpling app was ok but nothing special. Only had one main which was the potato crusted local catch. This was good but a few of the vegetables along with it didn’t really fit. Service was very good but the food was below average. For the cost there are many better dining options. To put it in perspective - our $50 lunch at star noodle in Lahaina was significantly better than anything we had at this place for $170.
Outdoor patio needs to be cleaned and refreshed. Dumplings were good but the calamari and ribs were just very average.
The lanai has amazing sunset view. The food is excellent. We had seared fresh catch, butterfish as well as appetizers and chocolate soufflé for dessert. Food was fabulous.
The sashimi app
What a nice surprise. We thought that this hotel restaurant would be average at best, but they are one of the best. Great food, fresh and carefully prepared. Really nice people working there an a beautiful view.
Nice enough but sat us right beside servers station
Everything was perfect
From the time we got there till we left
It was my birthday and I was treated like royalty! Our drinks and food were delicious and so appealing to the eye. Your staff and the servers were impeccable!! The ONLY negative was that my food wasn’t hot! I had the beef short ribs and they were delicious, but barely warm and that was surprising to me since everything else, and I mean everything was so on-point and enjoyable.
Our butter fish was excellent and our server was helpful.
What bothered us was the terrible fishy smell all over the restaurant (we eat fish but still the smell seemed too much). Also, although our reservation was at 8pm we were made to wait for 15 mins or so, yet they weren’t really busy, perhaps short staffed but when you go with reservations the tardiness is not expected.
it was our first time eating at humble market kitchin and the food was AMAZING. and most of all the staff. the service was beyond my expectation and everyone was VERY nice and so pleasant and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. definitely will eat here again and hope to plan our future events there as well.
Wonderful food, wonderful service and we were seated at a great table overlooking the ocean. Great experience!
Absolutely loved our special family dinner here this past week! Our server Randall was incredible -attentive without being annoying and he had excellent suggestions for food and wine. The view was amazing too and overall the prices for the setting were very reasonable
Excellent, as usual!
Restaurant was beautiful and timing with sunset was great -food was only ok
worst of the worst buffet experience on nye
Great family memories, great food and scenery!
This restaurant was horrible. The food was terrible , the room was tacky and the entire experience was reall not good. I could not eat my food. It was drowned in salad dressing and the lettuce was brown.
Table outside was basic, look liked lawn furniture. Server was not especially friendly or helpful. Food was very expensive and not great. I have been here on many occasions and the last two Dinners were subpar for a $300 meal. Will not return.
The service and the location were five stars. The appetizers were delicious, as was the pineapple upside down cake. The wine by the glass menu had a nice variety, and the espresso martini was perfection. The entrees had nice components but the overall execution fell short of the mark, especially what I’d expect at the price point of about $50 per entree. The cocktails were okay, but the garnish work was a little sloppy considering it was a 17 cocktail and the orange twists I make at home have more finesse.
But again the service was absolute perfection. I would go back for a glass of wine and appetizers for sure.
Christmas dinner ! It was our first time dining here at Roy’s place . It was good not spectacular as we hoped for the price . It was good we loved the calamari the ceasar salad, the entree was overpriced for what it was and no greens on the plate the risotto was very scant and parsnip or yellow Carrot hard as a rock almost raw ! Wait help was ok , he was attentive but lots of clanging of trays right beside us . Sadly we were sat by the work station .
Great, fresh seafood and produce. Unique, preparation that blended Hawaiian, Asian and American
Eclectic interior with super pleasant and attentive staff
