Everything is so good here. The entire staff are friendly and attentive. Happy Hour is excellent, fantastic appetizers and cold beer.
Our dinner meals came hot and plentiful. This is our top restaurants to come to.

We ate breakfast here based on others' recommendations and were disappointed with the breakfast buffet.

The restaurant has a wonderful setting, right on the ocean with an incredible view. The hotel itself is top-notch and deserves a visit just to see, even if you don't stay there or eat at the restaurant.

We choose the breakfast buffet because the food looked delicious. Unfortunately, all of the food was cold, even the food you'd expect to hot. Admittedly, it night be a challenge to keep large pans of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns hot, but other restaurants seem to have figured out how to do so. The pre-cooked waffles were served at room temperature and were disappointing as well. For $34, we expected something just a little better.

The cold items were all very good, except the papaya that was slightly overripe and the croissants that were not at all flakey.

Other guests who ordered off the menu were brought steaming food straight from the kitchen. If you enjoy your breakfast at a temperature other than lukewarm, you may want to skip the buffet.

The service was wonderful.

It was so good the first night we came back the next. We had Corina both evening - she was great, as was the food and the ambience!

It is a beautiful restaurant setting. Although i had made reservations, we were seated in a booth in the bar. (No view but comfy). We had high expectations since it is a Roy’s restaurant. We dined during Dine Wailea restaurant week, and all went with the pri fixed menu. We all enjoyed the HMK dumplings, but unfortunately the mains (short ribs and Asian pesto fish) and the dessert ( a very odd assortment of flavors and texture) were all a miss for the table. So even though the price of $49 was a deal, not when 2/3 of food was disappointing . Wine and cocktails were great - Loved our server/bartender. He made the evening. (we think we would go back for the regular menu...)

We went for restaurant week and tried the chefs menu. Food tasted like it was mass produced for that evening. Needed seasoning(and I never salt my prepared food). Also both dishes were dry. The service was excellent! We would try this restaurant again and maybe order off the menu to see if the food is better.

Visiting from LA with some local friends from Oahu. On our last night in Maui, decided we wanted to celebrate. Made last minute rsvp's here, and what a great choice! You Yelpers do not disappoint! We had the sashimi and oysters for starters; then the short rib, lamb, surf & turf and the fresh catch of the day as entrees. No complaints on any of these dishes! Everything was prepared as ordered, and flavor was fresh and on point. For dessert, because we checked-in, received the chocolate souffle complimentary! All of us were licking our spoons from all that rich chocolate flavor! Service was attentive but not intrusive, and she noted that our friends were locals and gave us a kamaina discount! Points for noticing so that we didn't have to ask! My skepticism was abundant as I do not typically like "hotel restaurants", but this was truly an experience! We had a wonderful time, and the next time I'm back, I'll be sure to make rsvps for dinner again, but also to partake in their breakfast buffet!

Took close to 15 minutes for the server to show up to the table, even though he told us “he’d be right with us” 10 minutes before. By the time he did show up, we had already decided on our drinks and food, and although they have a few specials, we didn’t hear them until we had already been staring at the menu for forever. the kitchen was able to send out our steamed dumpling app/Caesar salad, and we ate 3/4 of it before a mediocre lemon drop martini (that was served in a chipped glass that almost cut our lips) and a Stella bottle were served. For entree, we orders the surf and turf. The filet mignon was cooked close the the medium rare we order and tasted ok. The two prawns were over cooked and tough, and the “crab cake” was maybe the size of a silver dollar and possible the worst tasting thing we ate there. When the server sat the plate down, we commented on the size of the cake, and he was kind enough to talk to the kitchen and brought us two more. Unfortunately we had already tasted the first one, so the other ones went to waste. If you can find a reservation at any other restaurant on Maui, go there. Full disclosure, the manager did comp part off the meal, but even with the discounted check, it was still a complete disappointment and a waste of one of our night on Maui.

Very, very rushed. No introduction of server, menu or specials. Asked to slow down, but they did not. Brought dessert menu on second bite of entree. Interrupted entree course again to ask if we wanted to order dessert. The rapid pace resulted in inaccuracies. Order entered wrong by server, salad not dressed. The mistakes were not addressed when highlighted. Beautiful location.

Service from arrival through dinner was excellent. Graciously greeted by Jackie and the other hosts, and personal visits by Anthony, the manager. Food was excellent and the culinary team are very accommodating with special food preparation requests. Always enjoy the Brussels & Cauliflower, Dumplings and Ramen. Those are my go-to menu items and always enjoy them.

This place is at the Marriott hotel. We did not stay there; only went to dine there. It's a big place, different forms of seats, tall chairs, booth style, regular mid room tables etc.
The food was Dee-licious! I opted for two beginner plates which were ample. I had the baby back ribs and the crispy brussel sprouts with cauliflower. Both plates were absolutely scrumptious! My friend had the Mahi mahi which he raved over. They have an impressive selection of fish plates and a wonderful wine list! Fabulously dressed edamame was on the house! The service was perfection.

We were on our honeymoon and mentioned this in our Open Table reservation. Dessert came with “Congratulations” written in chocolate, which was an appreciated special touch. Service and food were both outstanding. Manager stopped by to introduce himself and make sure everything was perfect - that’s always great, even if we had nothing but great things to say!

Our waitress was outstanding. Her recommendations were spot on, she checked with the kitchen to confirm request in advance, and was pleasantly efficient. Food was timely and tasty! Views were spectacular. A very enjoyable experience.

Looking for A nice relaxing night out with the wife having been to Roy’s I expected much more. We were greeted by a server whom appeared to be Stoned, slurred her name and forgot her greet mid way through. she was not able to clearly communicate features and or answer our questions regarding the meal. I ordered the local Opah Prepared as a signature fish of the day. I love this fish from Hawaii and this being a fish and seafood forward restaurant I thought they would respect and cook this fish correctly. Boy was I wrong the fish was so terribly overcooked that it resembled not only the taste and texture but the look of Sunkist canned tuna. From service to food quality and even timing I give this restaurant one star as 0 was not an option, and warn all those to stay clear

Reserved this restaurant to celebrate our 40th anniversary and requested a table with a nice view on the outdoor patio. Although there were many open tables with great views, we were directed to a table in a corner of the patio, next to a family with toddlers. Since one of us would have to face a wall or the noisy family, we asked if we could have one of the other open tables. Is it a game with restaurants to see who is willing to sit in the undesireable tables? The evening improved after that with delicious crispy brussell spouts and cauliflower appetizer followed by Misoyaki butterfish and HMK style carbonara. Finished with the pineapple upside down cake made to order.
