The restaurant was very beautiful and the service was timely but we were the only people in the whole place. Their lunch menu is minimal and vague and over priced for the quality of the food. Or server was nice but a bit clumsy. It wasn't terrible but I probably won't be planning to go back for anything special agian.

We enjoyed our meal at Hula Hulas on our vacation. The food was fresh, not too fancy but tasty. We had really good service too. Nice evening!

My husband and I went for a long awaited date night. First, I found the layout of the entertainment vs dining odd - sitting at a table with a reservation, we could not see the band at all which disappointed me since I knew one of the artists. Our server was kind though not very knowledgeable about the wines. We decided to forgo pupus so ordered dinner right away. One of our plates was fantastic - the mac nut crusted ono was moist, delicious and paired well with the Thai peanut sauces. The other plate was a train wreck - a teri steak with prawns. Ordered medium, the steak came out raw with both blood and meat VERY red. We sent it back but there was no noticeable change in the color of meat when it came back. So we sent it back again. Upon getting the plate back the second time, we decided it was inedible at that point - the prawns were severely overcooked, the rice dry and the steak was tough, had an off-taste that went past the teriyaki flavor and was verging on well-done. I was disappointed they didn't re-plate. In the end, they took that plate off our bill and comped us a dessert. I won't go again for dinner since it was pricey for getting only one out of two plates right although I would like to sit at the bar and enjoy the entertainment at some point...

Great food, a little loud for us but I’m sure it’s not always that way since it’s attached to a hotel.

The restaurant feels tired. The way staff was very attentive and considerate. We were in the middle of traveling so did not get drinks. We ordered pizza and a beet salad. Both were fine but the greens were wilted and appeared to be sitting in the dressing for some time.

Hula Hulas was a very good restaurant, except for our 2 fish dishes which was Ono and Snapper. The taste was OK, but the fish was little over cooked or because we got our dish later, it just cooked itself to over cooked. Other than that the service was excellent especially where we were seated facing the ocean and not in the same area of the live entertainment. If we were seated in the live entertainment area this review would not have been rated higher. Because it was a birthday event, we just didn't want any loud noises constantly. And we didn't even get a free complimentary dessert dish for the birthday person or a song from the staff. You might consider doing these small taskings too increase business. Besides other restaurants do these things to make the birthday a special event for the person.

Tabbi provides us with excellent service. Recommended her favorites. Took the time to explain desserts and never rushed us to order our food. Mai Tai was really good and goad cheese and mushroom pizza was very tasty! Great place to relax, aside from the noisy tourist who was raising his voice for no apparent reason. But other than that the ambiance was very nice. The only negative was that my reservation wasn’t counted when booked through opentable. Other than that, everything was great!

We had a business meeting during lunch and the view is beautiful, just right in terms of the atmosphere. The menu was limited and the prices are typical higher that the local restaurants but we understand it caters more to the tourists who are willing to spend more on vacation.

Had the kalua nachos and goat cheese pizza. Had to take TUMS after. I am not lactose intolerant so that is not the problem. I hear the other items are better so dont order what I did.

Our entrees has a flaw(s). My pork chop was very tough and dry where I had a hard time chewing and swallowing. So I only ate the veggies and mashed potatoes. The other entree was super salty. And the other entree, the fried chicken was raw to the bone for every piece of chicken. The service, she did not make us feel comfortable or welcomed.

We enjoyed the great location on Kuhio Bay, and the seriously good food from local producers. Our party of seven had some spotty service for a relatively quiet Sunday lunch, but for larger parties, this is common.

In honor of Madame Pele I tried to order a Lava Lava drink but the waitress said they didn't have any bananas. Several other drinks were not available for that reason. What good restaurant runs out of banana. I had the pork belly. Very crispy & tasty with spicy soba noodles. Not too spicy. Waitress asked us what we wanted for dessert before we were done with our meal. That's just not done. For dessert I had the Lilikoi cheesecake. Great size piece and very tasty.

Went on Mother's Day--extremely busy. I had booked through Open Table and they were overbooked, 15 min late. The hostess was nice enough to offer us a table around the bar area, which we took, and it was very nice. Nice atmosphere, nice view. It was weird because Open Table emailed me asking why I didn't show up to my reservation (when i did!), I'm guessing because we were seated in the bar area. Outside of that and some of the food not coming out hot, just warm--probably because they were very busy--we had a very good time and enjoyed it there. If you are a Kamaaina--ask for the discount! They are nice enough to give us one!

We took my mom there for Mother's Day, we had a reservation at 6pm, got seated and no one came to our table for about 20 minutes. The host that sat us actually noticed after passing our table a few times that our cups were on the table with no water. She asked if we were served yet and we told her with all the waitresses there, no one once stopped to even acknowledge us. They all looked a little confused as to what tables they were responsible for. The service was not good especially on Mother's Day. I go out to a lot of places to eat and I was disappointed with the service that night. The food was delicious but the service was a setback. Even with great food, service is what everyone will remember for a long time. Service will always be the decision breaker for going back. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend for the food and hope they get better service.

My drink was not that good, water downed. I had the wedge salad with chicken. Chicken was dry. That’s the only complaints, I would go back as my wife and I did enjoy the rest of the meal.

Loved it. It was so opened space. Reservations were quick to make on Open table. The music was entertaining. Even if it rained, the view was beautiful. I ate a flatbread pizza and it was okay. I couldn’t decide what to eat and just should have ate a burger or salad. My kids enjoyed it. Will definitely come back for date night!!!!

Went for Sunday breakfast buffet. Food was fine, nothing extraordinary. Omelet station was available, so you don't have to rely on overcooked, tired scrambled eggs sitting in a heat tray for a long time.
Pastries were unexceptional. Seems like the buffet line is not serviced very often. Most of the jars containing add-ins for the oatmeal were empty. There are 4 juice containers, non of which were marked with their contents. Taste each one to determine what's inside.
View was lovely overlooking the pool and the bay beyond. Easy breakfast option, but not a fancy destination brunch.
