   Unbeatable location so we made a reservation to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Live “local” musicians but rather than them being on the patio to provide background music they were in the restaurant so it was next to impossible to have a conversation with my wife and causing everyone in the restaurant to raise their voices over the music. My wife had the Fish Lāwalu and said it was great. I ordered the Prime Rib medium, however it came out medium rare. I would have just eaten it but it and the veggies were cold. I sent it back and asked them to heat it all up. Came back well done with no flavor and tough. Menu doesn’t say it but Entrees come with mashed potatoes or white sticky rice. Potatoes were great, rice was tasteless. Online menu doesn’t specify what beers they serve. They only carry local craft beers, none of them light beers for those of us on a carb restricted diet. Service was very slow even though it was only about 3/4 full. We were there for an hour and a half, only served our entrees and my re-heated food, no drinks and empty water glasses most of the time so we opted out of dessert. They were nice and gave each of us a glass of complimentary champagne for our anniversary but they sat us at a huge table when there were 2 person tables available and next to the musicians. The location is great but not for an intimate dinner.

   Just about everything was outstanding which made it for a near perfect evening. The view, music, the hula dancing, it was all terrific. The food was mostly good also except I was disappointed in the appetizer chicken wings. They tasted very bland and I thought they were gonna be spicy wings

   View at sunset is phenomenal 😍 the service is wonderful and the live music with hula dancers was so nice. We had crab salad and bbq chicken. Both were good. Make sure you order the pineapple upside down bread pudding.

    The restaurant is on the beach in front of the Kaanapali Beach Club. It can be a little hard to find. We needed the assistance of hotel staff to locate it. The menu and the ambiance is Hawaiian all the way. One really feels the Hawaiian aloha vibe when dining here. The food was very good. I had a Hawaiian seasoned lamb entree that was excellent. Everyone in my party of 4 enjoyed their meal. We also enjoyed the hula dancer and the band on stage. The service was a little slow. It seemed to me that our server was covering about twice the number of tables as would be normal - so he was stretched thin. Given that - he did a great job. The prices were reasonable for a higher end restaurant located right on the beach.

    Not the best. Parking was not user friendly. We tried valet for $26, not happening. Then we had to go to 3 different places to get validation for self parking.

    Restaurant was certainly not easily gluten free and waiter did not recall my friend was allergic to fish. My leaf-wrapped dish was ok but just a mish mash of pork cod and a potato. Not very appealing but Pork was tasty. Definately. not a classy place that would justify the prices.

    Hui Hui was excellent! Ken was an amazing server whose food recommendations were delicious! Atmosphere was beautiful and live musicians and hula dancers made it a night to remember. Definitely recommend for dinner!

    The food was awful. So many other better options in the area. I ordered the shrimp pasta and the shrimp was way undercooked. The waitress blamed it on the cream sauce but it was inedible. Save your valuable time in Maui and go elsewhere for a better meal.

    Absolutely wonderful. Every table has a phenomenal view of the ocean, which is spectacular at sunset. Prices are far more reasonable and food is better than many other restaurants in the area. The lobster dumpling’s were so tasty, as was the pork shank and fish. This restaurant was our favorite in all of Maui.

    The food was just OK. The location of the restaurant is perfect. It’s right on the water. The entertainment (Jimmy) was the highlight of the day. The Crab avocado salad was very disappointing. The venison burger was very small compared to the size of the bun and the crinkle cut fries were cooked in old oil. The view was absolutely amazing. We will be back to see Jimmy for sure!!

    Love this place. Been here on my last 3 visits to Maui. Entertainment is lovely. Food is yummy and reasonable. Fun to watch what's going on in the kitchen thru the window. Good location and easy to walk to. It always seems full. The building is clean and new. I've recommended this restaurant to everyone who asks and some who don't. I heard it is going to close.     Absolutely stunning views from their beautiful facility. However, our server was very slow and disorganized. Maybe he was new. Our food was just so so, except for the wings, which were amazing. Gluten free dairy free options were very limited. Of all of the meals we’ve had in Maui over the years, this was probably our least favorite.

    The view here is incredible and the live entertainment is so fun, you don't need to go to a luau. However, the food is just okay, and our server, Jayson, was not accommodating at all. I asked for a house salad and wanted to have either shrimp or fish on the side and was not unequivocally NO! Very disappointed that he couldn't make that happen. The restaurant did send over a complimentary dessert as it was our anniversary. Would not return here for food, maybe just a drink.

    Had dinner here on our first day of vacation, and it was amazing! Definitely recommend booking a reservation. Views - incredible (both outdoor and indoor tables have excellent views of ocean/sunset) Service - outstanding (Ron was friendly and always checked on us to make sure we were taken care of) Food - delicious!!!     Great food, we had the Fish Lawalu with munchong (fresh fish of the day) and Kula Salad. Fabulous atmosphere ( we ate outside at sunset ) and even saw the sunset dive off of Black Rock!
