The food was excellent and the temperature was great
Awesome food and service always as expected
Love this place, food is great, staff is friendly and polite.
Had a great time here in Valentines Day, food was good and so was the service.
Last minute reservations for Valentines day, and it was amazing. Great table, great food, and great service. Would definitely recommend it. And, will definitely be back.
Valentine’s Day great menu selections, fast service, and great food
Came on Valentines Day with my soon to be Fiancé! Everything was amazing.
Wife didn't like the Caesar salad dressing. My fillet was delicious. The prices were much higher then advertised.
Great service . Food is delicious. We like to sit in the bar area in a booth. A little pricey but overall a great experience!
Date night with my wife. Would return.
Hugo's Frog is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is first rate always and I've been there many many times. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and, plus they always remember me which is a nice touch.
I highly recommend this excellent restaurant on the Delaware River
My boyfriend and I had been there several times without any issues. However, this time we left a little sooner, because the ambiance was distorted by a customer behind us, whose phone kept on going off loudly and interrupting our conversation. We noticed a strong “pot” smell coming from his clothes the moment he sat down. He kept on with his disruptive behavior, yet nobody told him to keep the noise down. It was very frustrating, because we were celebrating our upcoming birthdays and were expecting more from the restaurant.
First time at this restaurant. Was not disappointed. I had the King Crab mac and cheese. Lots of crab and very creamy. Our server was really nice and the bus boy very accommodating. I would go back for another meal.
First off the service was phenomenal! The food was outstanding! I enjoyed the lobster bisque and the miso chilean sea bass while my husband enjoyed the sautéed frogs legs and the bone-in porterhouse. The creamed spinach was out of this world! I’ve never had spinach that was so flavorful and it seemed to be pureed. We also shared the oysters. Due to Covid the restaurant was obviously not very full so the noise level was minimal. I will definitely be dining here again in the future.
The quality of the food does not match the price. The service was amazing through. My steak was over cooked and the compensation was 15$ off my bill so that tells me management isn't focused on customers experience
Interesting and varied menu. Food is wonderfully prepared and of the highest quality. Portions are generous. Prices are outstanding for the value. Service was over the top!
Great food great service great atmosphere
Was perfect. Outstanding
Excellent. We had frog legs and crab cake. Both were delicious. So was the drink. Five stars.
The wait staff was kind and polite and knew and gave information about the menu.
Out waiter Michael is very kind and resourceful. He is also very attentive and diligent.
Garfield was fabulous. The manager check bonus twice and the food was excellent.
Excellent steaks, stuffed flounder and shrimp coctail! Best ever big birthday cake@
The restaurant is amazing, staff is friendly and brings food at a nice pace, always clearing the table for next plate to arrive, music is soothing to the ear, I just love sing along, I will be visiting the restaurant again soon
We went for lunch and had a very good meal. The Fried calamari with sweet chili sauce was delicious. I had porcini crusted scallops with risotto and it was very rich and decadent. My husband had Cajun crab and sausage. Great meal in a nice setting. Very quiet even inside of a casino. It’s not cheap but you usually get what you pay for. The service was great. Efficient and unobtrusive.
We will be back!
1st issue: butter for the bread was not softened but right out of the refrigerator so we could not spread it on the bread.
2nd issue: ordered a drink requiring the use if their blender to be informed the blender was broken.
3rd issue: ordered french dip to only be told they were out of french dip.
4th issue: we order bacon wrapped scallops which the scallops were rubbery and hard to cut through & the bacon was burnt and not wrapped around the scallops.
I settled for a sunrise burger which was delicious and made perfect.
My wife ordered the flounder stuffed with king crab and it was ok but not great.
The best thing was the mac & cheese w/king crab. It was banging.
We also ordered for dessert "The Meankng of Life" cake which was 7 layers. It is huge but the size is more overwhelming then the taste of the cake. It was not moist but dry and very bland.
For the $134 lunch we were expecting to be blown away. We went to Guy Fieri's in AC prior and Hugo's is not on Fieri's level.
I would have complained but we was given a gift card so it cost us nothing but our time which we could never get back.
The server Mike was outstanding and was the best part of the whole experience.
That was our experience.

I know it's in a casino, but the menu should be more kid friendly.
My fiancé and I went out to Hugo's to celebrate Valentine's Day the day after the holiday, on Saturday. We had reservations for 6PM and were seated right away. Everyone was nice, polite, and very welcoming. We were checked on multiple times throughout our meal by different people. Not once did we have to request assistance because someone was always around and refilling our drinks. The food was amazing. We had steak and Porcini Crusted Scallops. We will definitely be returning back to Hugo's since we had such a fantastic experience.
Well from the outside looking in it appeared to be a nice place but once we was seated that’s when I noticed ppl playing music off their phones, restaurant policy calls for business casual wear I seen ppl wearing sweatsuits and hoodies, my server offered champagne I asked for Moët he said they didn’t have any, the Lobster Bisque soup tasted like it was only made with heavy cream and sugar and there wasn’t a taste of lobster in it. The restaurant claims to be the “Best Steak House” in Philadelphia but the steak had absolutely no taste or flavor whatsoever! Overall me and my wife had a horrible experience there on top of that it was Valentines Day!
Dined here for Valentines day dinner. We were Promptly greeted on arrival by a very friendly host. All wait staff and bussers were very attentive and professional. Overall I would have given this place a 5 star, except the food left much to be desired. Mainly the steak; for being a “Chop House” it lacked flavor and seasoning. Cooked to The correct temperature, but I had to ask for A1 sauce I in order to eat it! The seafood was prepared well. The drinks were strong and tasty. I wouldn’t return here for a steak though....
It was very good
Delicious food, HUGE portions and great service!! Or server, Garfield was not only personable and attentive, but extremely helpful!! Can't wait to go back again and try something different!!!
Our Valentines dinner was GREAT!!! The food portions were a nice size. Good service...The food was delicious,,,my crab cakes were huge!!! I would definitely recommend!!!
Friendly staff. Unfortunately one person in the group received a rare steak and he had ordered a medium. My steak was great. Manager is very nice. We had a minor with us and he was treated with respect. I do miss the steamed clams though.
Great food and service
Dinner was pretty good. Steaks cooked perfect (Medium Well) most places cannot get.
Service was Excellent.
Prices were normal for a high end chain steakhouse.
Service was great, and the food was excellent!
Gave good size portions, and was bought out in a timely fashion
My baked potato was cold when brought out. They had to reheat it. The dessert was a chocolate mouse pie. It was so big and expensive. Thought I was getting a slice. This was basically a whole pie and the cost was outrageous
This was my second time coming to this restaurant. Just ok this time. I ordered the lobster bisque soup, but it had NO lobster in it. Very disappointing.
Best steak and salmon ever. Will definitely be back. Service was great as well. Pricey but worth it
