Good food..good people and good music.
We had a party of 8 people and dined here on Sunday night at 6pm. It was not crowded at all, which was a bit of a shame, seeing what a great spot it is but again, it was Sunday. Our table ordered a ton of food and a ton of drinks and not one thing was missed. Our waiter did a fantastic job. As far as I could tell, everyone loved their food and drinks. I am extremely picky with my steaks but my steak was fabulous. I really enjoyed my meal here and I would recommend it to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just celebrating life frankly.
We go for the crab cakes and desert. We told the waitress we were not happy with the desert (carrot cake) and left the carrot cake. For the price of desert it should of been better (change in the cake, we've had it before) and the waitress should of taken it off our bill
The waiters are very cold and unfriendly . Customers are not greeted at the tables with a smile. The waiters are unsure of the menu and provide no recommendations when requested by the customers. They are very impatient and inattentive . The food is proportioned well but have no taste . My crab cakes with huge bit very dry .
Our favorite place...excellent as usual.
sugarhouse is our casino and Hugo's is our place. Couldn't be happier. Great restaurant..good food and exemplary staff. Not just staff..friends.
Pino was an excellent waiter. I would definitely go back just to visit him. There were a few dishes that were just "ok. The frog legs were rather "untasty" and the French fries, were old and just re-heated. The Sea Bass was excellent, as was the steak.
Food was delicious. Appreciated the 25% discount with Show attendance.
Excellent service. Really good burger and bread. Very quiet at lunch time.
We enjoyed our dining experience and will return, as well as recommend restaurant to friends and family.

worst dining experience I have ever had at a restaurant
I had lunch with some of my colleagues a couple times. Recently had dinner with seven other girlfriends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and Garfield our waiter was very accommodating, he helped with our selections when we were undecided.
Will be back definitely!
The waiter joe or Jon was was not attentive everyone else waited on us rather than him.
Our service was so bad , it made the whole experience awful. We had a light dinner because we were going to a comedy show. We had a burger and po boy which were both good. We ordered the mac and cheese side which came out cold, when our server did check back with us we told him it was cold and had to ask him to please get a new one. A manager dropped a new one to us and then nobody checked back again. We had to ask for refills on our water and never got asked if i would like a second beer. Lastly we had coffee and my wife ordered the piece of cake. If you have never eaten there before like us , just a warning the cake is enormous, as high as a steak knife and enough to feed 4-6 people. We were not given a warning. We had to ask for a refill on the coffee. The whole dreadful experience took over 2 hours.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was quiet enough to have a conversation even though there was live music in the bar area.

Had a 9 pm reservation. When making it I checked and it said that they were serving until 11.
The bread was cold and hard. They seemed to rush us out. I heard them telling people that came into the bar that they were closed I asked for my steak to be done medium well. The waiter at one point commented since I ordered Medium well it is going to take so long to cook. It still came out bleeding.. i did not send it back , I boxed it to go home. Mashed potatos seemed microwaved burnt. I realize that it was a later reservation but for the price ...the service and food should be set at the same standards. I have been here before and will not be going back. There are many decent Steak restaurants in Philadelphia where I would rather spend my money.
We had a great experience! Drinks were good. Wine list is decent. Appetizers were delicious (lobster bisque and garbage salad); but the bone-in ribeye was fabulous!!! Awesome grade of meat cooked perfectly as ordered. Twice baked potato was huge - enough for two to share (possibly even 3 could share lol). Dessert was so-so.
It is fantastic. Our favorite place. We are in casino at least 4 times a week and Hugo's is our favorite place. We have come to know everyone that works there and that is part of the reason it is our favorite place. We love the live music.

Cheeseburgers were great. Service by Daisy was superb. Prices a bit high, but worth it. Was a bit chilly on a really, really hot day.
Service was excellent and every staff member in the restaurant was very attentive. Steaks were cooked as ordered and delicious. We ordered a piece of chocolate cake and got the biggest slice I've ever seen, it was wonderful and I will be dieting for a week! I highly recommend Hugo's.
Awesome dinner and service! We came to see a show st Sugar House and they made sure our service was expedient but not rushed!

The food at Hugo Frog's is excellent. The Lobster Bisque was rich and delicious. The Flounder with King Crab was wonderful. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the service (more a fault in timing from the kitchen than the actual servers) was abysmal. Our three-course meal, which should have taken a well-paced hour and a half, was ordered, served, and paid for in about 45 minutes. The soup was at the table even before the very generous glass of Duckhorn (which helped make the $17 price tag more palatable). The soup was in a large bowl and it was hot. No problem there! However, things rapidly went downhill. We were barely halfway through our soup before the main course arrived. This was less than 15 minutes into our meal. I was inclined to send it back, but figured it would just sit under the heat lamp and die a slow death, so the soup got pushed aside and we enjoyed the delicious entrees. We took our time eating these, worried all the time that the dessert was imminent. The servers waited for us to finish our mains, but the dessert was in front of us within a minute. We felt extremely rushed, which ruined this fantastic meal for us. The restaurant was only half full, so there should have been no rush to turn the tables, but we certainly didn't have the opportunity to linger over any portion of the meal. I took more than half of the large glass of wine with me into the elegant bar and listened to the enthusiastic, but only mildly talented. pianist while watching some sports on TV. A rather inauspicious end to our "high-end" dinner! We expected so much more and will not be back. Nor will we recommend this restaurant to our friends or family.
Service was poor, waited over 20 minutes for our drinks, some of the food came out cold. Server was very inattentive.

We enjoyed the delicious lobster bisque and stuffed flounder with crab . Additional the Knock- Out cocktail was very good. Nicely decorated and the Mgr John is a jewel
The waiter was outstanding. He gave options to the menu to fit my needs and was very efficient. The food was delicious and seasoned well. I will definitely be back soon!
We went for restaurant week. The food & the service were both excellent
We decided to come here for restaurant week and was very disappointed. We came here for my grandmothers 80th birthday and was hoping for something satisfying. 3 of us got steak and mash potatoes. THe other 2 got the stuffed flounder. The potatoes that came with the steak were instant and unbearably inedible. They were overly seasoned and salty and topped with a thick brown gravy that none of us liked or could even swallow. We told the waitress and she apologized. The portions were also very small. The stuffed flounder came with 2 stalks of asparagus and nothing else. We were very sadly dissappointed for wasting a special event with a meal that was below average.
Music was too loud. Food was good and service was excellent

This was my 2nd time dining here and I think the food is outstanding. Our waiter was not too attentive though. He never asked if everything was alright or if we needed anything else. Next time, I am requesting to sit in the bar area.
From beginning to end this was an extraordinarily pleasant experience. The service and environment at Hugo’s is wonderful. Our server was Michael he was not only attentive but knowledgeable and engaging. The management is above board and the entire staff starting with the young lady that does the seating to the staff that clear the table all are extremely polite and professional. The food is delicious and very fresh. This was our first visit but definitely will not be our last.
The service and food was amazing. If you want a place that is quiet with delicious food options, please come here. The chocolate mousse is one of the best I've had. Highly recommend Hugo's.
My wife and I have been with Sugarhouse for a year now and we have liked Hugo's from the start. Like the food and the entire staff. We consider it our place.
