Upon arrival to the boat it looked like my reservation was not as expected. They changed rules and prices . First we were told it was $160 per person then it was $185 per person. When I booked it said $75 per person minimum and that includes dinner and drinks of your choice on menu. Well that was not the case. We had to call on manager to fix this . Not only was this annoying but embarrassing as I was taking friends and their parents out that had flown in from South Africa to have a good experience. The manager did see my reservation and saw that they need to update the site. Well I did not get the $75 charge but $95 per person - cost of drinks. Our server was fantastic he made us all feel great and his service was A++.

Don’t go. I made a reservation and when I arrive there - surprise - no boat. It was closed for a private party. I don’t understand why they accepted the reservation. Disapointing.

Food and Wine is a little pricey, but considering you are not paying for a cruise ticket and then food on top it is perfectly reasonable. Service started good, but then we where ignored by our waiter when he had another table, although management and all staff where very nice! Food was tasty and cooked well, but it is all about the cruise and seeing the slyline and lady liberty. This is a perfect for a special occasion or a date, i went as my parents had flowen from the UK to visit me as i have just moved to NYC and it was perfect! Totally worth it.

Service was wonderful. The cruise took us right up close to the Statue of Liberty. Guests at the bar began getting noisy and rowdy but the food and scene was worth it all. Fun and unique experience. Would definitely recommend.

The a-la-carte reservation is a great way to enjoy a delicious meal and a short sunset cruise by the Statue of Liberty and downtown skyline. If you don't want to drink a lot or have too much food, it's the best option they offer. You're free to walk to the outside decks to enjoy the sights as you please. It was a bit rocky at the dock, but not too bad once the ship started to move. The food was excellent and served quickly, but not spectacular. Service was good and not too pushy. I enjoyed it immensely.

This is another NYC place where you are paying for the view as well as the food and drinks. You dine on a 3-level ship that cruises the Hudson from mid-town to the Statue of Liberty and back. The food was very good and not that expensive by NYC standards but the drinks are pricey. There are 3 ways to sail: just unlimited drinks basically a booze cruise; a three course dinner, these at a fixed price; and an ala carte dining option with a $75 minimum. It's worth it for a special occasion.

It was our anniversary and we were treated so special. The ambiance was perfect. We got a cake with candle and 2 glasses of wine at the end we were not expecting. The staff and managers were very friendly and attentive to our needs. We will definitely go back. Absolutely love this place. The best part is being on the water. Great pictures and scenery.

Hudson's is NO ordinary boat ride around Manhattan, It's THE BEST ONE. Boat is 3 levels of Chic. Top level is open to the wonderful Manhattan views with a large center bar and house music setting the mood for a beautiful sunset. Middle level is elegant dining complete with white tablecloths, candles and friendly wait service. Food is top notch and a pleasing menu along with an extensive wine list and array of handcrafted cocktails. Lower level mimics a club. Huge Circular Bar with small intimate cocktail tables on the periphery. This boat makes for wonderful memories. Fun, Romantic, Exciting...We have been on it over 6 times in the past year. Do not miss this cruise to see Lady Liberty and experience Manhattan on the Hudson River. It's Fabulous

Appetizers of shrimp, flatbread and salad were all good but the meal was downhill from there. My husband ordered the branzino, it was overlooked and did not seem fresh at all. He sent it back and then ordered the chicken which was ok. I had the pappardelle which also was just ok. Service of the main course was extremely slow. I had taken this dinner cruise last September with some friends and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. My guess is that there is a new owner who has no restaurant experience, we spent $250 for a very disappointing meal. I would stay away from this dinner cruise, there are others on the Hudson that I'm sure would be far superior.

We were docked and people were getting off the boat before we got our dinner -- 9:30PM for a 6pm reservation. We were told the kitchen was backed up. And the food was "okay" after waiting that long. Waiter service for drinks and even water was spotty at best. It was our son's graduation and it was meant to mark a special occasion but we didn't stay for dessert because it probably would have been hours before we got it. While the cruise itself was great, I would not rely on this for a meal if you are a larger party. Go for drinks and appetizers. The dining part of this experience put a damper on an otherwise great day.

Did the a la carte menu and was very disappointed by the food. Had a salad which was very bland and plain, goat cheese tart was good but cold. We then ordered charcuterie and cheese platters. The cheese had only two types which was a mild cheesed and a very plain white cheese. The meats did not taste fresh and had no flavour. We returned both of these platters and had a pasta dish and shrimp, both were okay but very salty. Boat was very nice and clean. Views were incredible. Was surprised though that as soon as we docked almost everyone got off right away which was about 8:30. I kind of expected a party after but the boat was empty. I would not recommend this to a friend, if it wasn't so pricy I might.

What a find this restaurant was ! I googled for dinner cruises on the Hudson and I came across the fish bar. We liked the idea it was a restaurant which you could come on board and eat and drink as little or as much as you liked and twice a night it sailed the Hudson so you could take in the New York skyline, Statue of Liberty and Ellis island for free. Every table on the restaurant top level had a view of the outside, the inside of the boat was also beautiful. The service was fantastic, our server Eric was fabulous, as was the food. There were 7 of us in our party including 1 teenager and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Between dinner and dessert everyone went on deck to look at the view and take pictures. I would not hesitate to recommend the fish bar to anyone, in fact my friends are headed to New York on December and I will be telling them it is definitely somewhere they should go.

Overall experience was great. If your having dinner, why not cruise around Manhattan while eating? The boat is really smooth too. We forgot we were on water. Great views and nice ambiance. On this particular day, the service was not so great. The waitress was tied up with another huge party I think and so our service suffered. The drinks were excellent however, after waiting about 30 mins to get them. Would go back in the summer to sit on the roof and enjoy drinks. For food, there are better options in the city.

The service was pretty terrible. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty much empty. Our hostess didn't bring us to the table. No one came to our table for a good 20 minutes. Our server was pretty bad. We ordered 3 drinks and 2 of them came out completely wrong and she forgot the 3rd one. When we reminded her, she thought we were putting in another order. She didn't give us syrup for our toast. The toast was very very sub par. While we were there, 3 other tables were also complained. There was no reason to mess up because the boat was quite empty. Not to mention, the boat was supposed to sail at 12:30pm but NEVER sailed. No one told us that it was canceled until we asked.

This is not your typical dinner cruise! The food was excellent, especially the black linguini with seafood which a few of us had. We had a large group of twelve people so we were seated at the large center table with booth seating on one side and chairs on the other. It was perfect for views from both sides of the boat. In between courses we were able to go outside on our same level or upstairs to the outside upper deck. The night we went was not crowded because it was a rainy, chilly day in early October. I'm so glad we kept our reservations though. The views were incredible and not affected by the weather at all. As long as there is no fog views should be fine. The service was great too. I would definitely go back with a group or as a couple for a special occasion.

Great experience! The views, the food, the unlimited mimosas!! I've never been to NYC so my bf planned a weekend trip, but I decided to surprise him with brunch a little different than we're used to. Brunch while sailing. Genius! Although, the music could've been a bit more fun/current the overall experience was great. Service, food & presentation were pretty close to perfect. A great surprise date idea, my bf loved it!

The boat was beautiful, great quick cruise to the Statue of Liberty and back. We went for brunch for a friends birthday. Please note that food is basically heat and serve. Ok sandwiches, and basic breakfast items. Steer clear of the lobster Egg's Benedict and the lobster BLT. The lobster for both dishes looks more like chopped meat and is mixed in a strange looking redish sauce that tastes like sausage. Weird. Drinks are good and SERVICE WAS AWESOME. Our waiter couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. If you go on this cruise, stick to the drinks and cheese platter.

My boyfriend and I loved it. Open table is the way to go at fish bar because the menu is not limited as is the prepaid packages they offer. I will reserve with open table at fish bar again. It was not as expensive as I thought it would be. Fish Bar is a classy place to dine with awesome views.
