Come in and let the flavor do the talking. Our culinary team takes NW farm to table ingredients to craft a rustic American dining experience. Hudson's décor is nearly as spectacular as the food crafted in our open kitchen concept. Hudson's Bar & Grill is located inside the Heathman Lodge Hotel Vancouver WA.

Executive Chef Joe Reid joins Hudson’s with more than 20 years of culinary experience under his belt. Joe grew up in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute, Joe started at a 4 diamond steakhouse in Lake Tahoe. He then moved back to the NW and began his culinary career as a Banquet Chef at the Multnomah Athletic Club. Since then, he has worked in various positions at multiple restaurants including Morton’s The Steakhouse, Salishan Lodge and Brand Chef at Stanford’s. He has a passion for mentoring his team and helping them reach their full potential.

    Service was very friendly and atmosphere is beautiful for a nice brunch setting. However, the food was very subpar. The Eggs Benedict was cooked well but sauce tasted like it was made from a powder and it seemed as if it had been sitting around for a while as did the hashbrowns. Granted we had a 1:30 reservation but if they offered that then they should be able to accommodate it and offer fresh food at that time. We didn't realize when we made the reservation that they close at 2:00 so we sort of had a half hour brunch. The staff didn't rush us but it was clear that they were closing which made us feel a but uncomfortable. They should really not offer reservations after 1:00 if that was the case to allow for a leisurely meal. Cocktails were fantastic tho, we'd go back for those but would skip the overpriced brunch.

    Love Hudson's we go there a few time a year. In the warmer day we always sit outside to hear the fabulous music. Waterfront Band was the entertainment for that evening our personal favorite.

    The food and cocktail were fantastic! My favorite was the Limoncello Creme Brulee.

    We really enjoyed our brunch. The service was fantastic. I had asked if we could take our time due to our the occasion being a celebration. The waitress respected our wishes and timed everything perfectly. We enjoyed the food which is always on a very high level of quality. And the atmosphere was very inviting.

    Disappointing today. Not the standard of service I have been used to at this place. I hope this was a one-off and not a decline in the service, as this place has long been a favorite of mine.

    We chose this restaurant for a special Mother's Day celebration, but unfortunately, the experience left us quite disappointed. To start with the positives—our server, Susan, was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We ordered drinks for the table, which took about 15–20 minutes to arrive. Given the busy holiday, this was understandable. Appetizers came out promptly and were handled well. However, after being seated for about 45 minutes, our entrée orders still hadn’t been taken. While some delay is expected on a busy night, it became a challenge with two young children at the table. Eventually, we ordered a variety of dishes: two halibut, one wagyu burger, meatloaf, a ribeye, and the beef tip sauté. Sadly, the entrées were a major letdown. Most arrived lukewarm or cold, and the quality was far below expectations—especially considering the occasion. The burger was overcooked and dense, and even the fries were cold. The meatloaf had an odd taste, was cold in the center, and seemed anything but fresh. The halibut was dry, lacked seasoning, and was overcooked. The ribeye was nearly flavorless and so tough it was difficult to eat—I ate about a 1/3 of it before I gave up. Oddly, our server never asked us how our meals were, a clear signs she already knew as there was food left on every plate. We dine out regularly—about 4–5 times a month—and I can honestly say this ranks among the worst meals we've had. I’m generally not one to leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience, especially given how excited we were to celebrate a special day.

    Mothers Day Brunch was a great experience!! Our server was awesome, wish I could remember her name. The variety at the buffet perfect. There was definitely something for everyone. My only complaint was that some of the food was not hot, but other then that everything I tried was delicious. Based the the variety of foods on the buffet I believe it was worth the money. Will go again next year.

    Super expensive Mother’s Day buffet. Most food was cold. Prime was chewy. Super disappointed. Won’t go back.
