Overall I like the place. No masks worn by servers but I was sitting inside massless myself, so I guess that's fair. I feel like they overdid it on the brown in the decor but the room is nice. I had the Hash for brunch and it was excellent.
Fantastic food and views at this train station location that is right next to the Hudson River. We were a group of 5 on a day that turned stormy and our waiter Juan was incredibly helpful. He got us inside to finish our lunch/birthday celebration because the wind made it impossible to stay outside and was the most kind and thoughtful waiter we've ever had. The food was delicious and we'll definitely go back again. Great place with heaters and outdoor seating and amazing menu.
Don't know if it was the night we dined (Monday) but it was a bit bumpy at the start. Both my guest and I felt a bit rushed to order even though there weren't many diners there. I ordered an entree and asked about possible substitutions to an ingredient that it became somewhat of a production as they were unable to provide substitutions that would work until I finally said I would go without the ingredient. The entree was served with said ingredient. Ugh. Server offered to bring another entree which I turned down as I just picked ingredient off. She brought entree anyway packed to go- nice gesture. Food was tasty but once again we felt rushed to finish with our meal and drinks (water glasses being cleared from table) is always a sign to leave. We could also smell the cleaning solution on the floor or where ever they were using them towards the end of our meal. Jury is still out.
Hudson Social is an outstanding spot for a drink or a meal. Great food and cocktails, friendly and attentive staff, cool spot down by the Hudson River. The bloody mary's and the quesadillas are delicious!
Really exceeds the trifecta of dining… food, service, scenery
Really enjoyed my experience at Hudson Social. Friendly service, good food, reasonably priced and nice atmosphere. We had outdoor dining and enjoyed a very nice view of the water and an early fall sky. The only criticism I have is the loud roar of the passing train, which is of no fault of the restaurant. You want outdoor dining, you have to deal with the rattle and roar of the Metro North! I would definitely fo back and recommend them to others.
Cute place right on the water and next to the Dobbs Ferry train station. The service was good. The food was okay -- nothing to write home about, but enjoyable.
Very tasty menu, right next to the mighty Hudson, upbeat staff. Easy parking on Sunday when I was there.
It was not a bad experience, but nothing that would bring me back.
Good food service was a little weak. Wish there were more choices for lunch.
We ate outside and it was very noisy at first, but I spoke with the owner and he was able to turn off the speaker directly over our table. That made the night an overall success! Food was good, waiter was very attentive and accommodating.
Our waiter disappeared for long periods of time. This is not what I am used to here as normally the service is excellent.
There was a dog at the next table that barked continuously. I like the idea of allowing dogs and plan to bring my own there someday. However, management should have asked them to take the dog for a walk because I did not want to get into a confrontation with the other guests,
The food was delicious as usual.
We were a group of 8 and everyone LOVED what they ate. The wait staff was also very careful to make sure we were accommodated with a peanut allergy in our group. Definitely will return!
We love eating outdoors at Hudson Social. It's distanced, family-friendly, and they accommodated our child's allergy need. Good food and service.
The food was not great and it is right next to a noisy station
Grilled chicken was hard and pretty tasteless. Fries tasted like they had been frozen.
We have dined at Hudson Social before. The food is consistent, good quality, good value for the portions (on large side) and the staff is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice indoor or outdoor experience without breaking the bank. The bartenders; both indoor and outdoor, are experienced and make good quality drinks.
Service was pretty good but my food was awful. My wife salmon was good.
It is clear that chef/owner Matt Kay and his staff are happy to be with each other and running a charming and fun Hudson Social. And they’re working! The vibe at the outdoor bar and patio is so cool and welcoming. The place is clean, the food is delicious, and they are just darn nice people. Stunning views and steps from the train! What could be better?
Special shout out to Cat, the extraordinary and sweet hostess who is holding it down for a very busy place! Make a rez!
Great meal with friends dining at an outside table. Weird being in a parking lot, but the view of the Hudson was lovely. Tasty food. We'll go back. Thanks.
Restaurant located next to train station and overlooking the Hudson River. Dined outdoors and it was nice. We ordered the Cuban sandwich which came on ciabatta bread and came with french fries. Although the sandwich was tasty, towards the end I felt it was too much bread and couldn't really taste the meat. The fries were fresh, not greasy, and delicious. Great place to hang out with friends!
Food was inedible. Grilled chicken could barely be chewed.
Another fabulous choice curtesy of Open-table. Great food, great service, beautiful ambiance.
Great food options. There for brunch. Everyone cleared their plates. Iced coffee was very good. Our server Juan was awesome.
Wonderful Service, great food and outstanding value.
Staff was outstanding and very helpful in making my mother's 96th birthday a good one!
Perfect for what I was looking for! Casual, by the water with views, the food was delicious, reasonable prices, easy parking, nice helpful waiter, Juan. We had the brussel sprouts (to die for), the wings were pretty good (could have been a little crispier) and the burger platter......Awesome. Drinks were good. Piped music was fantastic.....old Mowtown.....Whoever made the playlist thumbs up! Can't wait to go back! TY
This is a Great outdoor place to enjoy the Hudson River. The food is delicious. Service is great.
It’s a lovely venue along the Hudson. A bit noisy, including passing trains, but still a relaxing place to catch a bite.
The server was excellent, I think his name was Andrew
Great food, outstanding service, and a beautiful sunset to compete the evening!
Brunch was quite good. Great variety on the menu. Plenty of choices on the menu including vegetarian choices. They were also accommodating about turning items with meat into vegetarian items. The staff was warm, knowledgeable and efficient. Great views of the Hudson River.
Everything good, but would have been better if the appetizer didn’t appear at the same time as the entree.
We ate outdoors overlooking the Hudson River and the Food was excellent.
Taco Tuesdays is a good deal. 2 tacos and a beer for $14, a $19 value.
Appetizers were tastier than the main course
Ate outside on a beautiful evening. A little buggy, but very pleasant. Most food was ok, but meats were over cooked, even though rare was requested.
Good place with fantastic views of the Hudson River. Pub like menu. Food is well prepared. Recommend highly the roasted Brussels sprouts and pretzel bites appetizers. Chicken Milanese is excellent. Sandwiches are very good. Bartender is solid. Very good beer list.
