Hudson Malone is an old school NYC culinary saloon. We specialize in NYC comfort food that utilizes local ingredients whenever possible. All of our prime meats come from our friend Pat Lafrieda. All of our fish and raw bar come direct from market daily, as well as our produce. So much more than a gastropub, we provide an establishment and atmosphere where you can dine out several times a week. Our menu evolves daily and seasonally. We offer an extensive spirit and cocktail list as well as a fabulous wine list. Our home is a two-story circa 1890 townhouse complete with original tin ceilings. The environment is elegant and pays homage to old-school NYC saloon culture.. Our upstairs Siren room has a sexier, speakeasy meets bordello feel that features a hand-crafted eastlake 1890's bar, piano music several nights a week and a secret private entrance. Be prepared to become a regular at this magical hospitality driven restaurant brought to you by Chef/owner Doug Quinn.

The Lamb Sliders (3) were very tasty and the French Fries that came with the sliders were also good with a lot more flavor than most served elsewhere.

This is a great bar and an even better restaurant. Whenever I am in NY I make a point of dining here and drinking of course. The food is fabulous, the drinks amazing and the staff superb. When seated ask or Meredith or Daniel, they are super (as is everyone but I did not memorize everyones name, yet). Great place that I really enjoy.

Great NYC pub atmosphere. Not overcrowded, a change from many NYC pubs. Food was just okay. Fries were all soggy and cold- and we had three orders served at different times, so this wasn’t a fluke. Sliders were basic and undercooked. Fried red tomato is a WHOLE, unsliced tomato- server should have highlighted that when it was ordered for $17. We won’t be going back.

I went for brunch with my mother and sister. Three of the four ordered eggs benedict, all were cold and all the eggs were overcooked. We should have sent them back but we waited for some time and did not want to wait to have them cook new ones. On a positive note, the server was very good.

We live nearby and usually love this place, but something has definitely changed. Slow service, the worst meatballs I've ever had (a literal ball of tough ground beef minus cheese, eggs, garlic, bread crumbs, i.e., all the stuff that goes into a meatball), Old Fashioneds served not with a single large cube of ice but with *crushed* ice (?!), and a bill close to $200 for two means we won't be back any time soon. :(
