   I have been a fan of Hudson House for years but I was highly disappointed with our service last night. We were brought two drinks that were not correct, one our server corrected immediately; the second drink we had to flag down a different server to change the drink to the item ordered. One of our entrees was no where to be seen 10 minutes after the other orders came out, waved down our server who was eventually able to find the entree, which had been delivered to the wrong table. So not sure if it sat in front of someone else for awhile or it was immediately returned to the kitchen and just sat there. Once we got our bill, it was not correct and we had been charged for one of the drinks that was in error. Again we had to flag down another server to get our bill corrected so we could pay. But the end of the meal, I was embarrassed that I had made this recommendation to my friends.

   This is one of those restaurants that just excels at customer service. Everyone knows their role and works cooperatively together to make a great experience. Their cocktails -- mine a Manhattan -- are first rate, and the raw bar is one of the best in town. Just wish it wasn't so popular so I could pop in more often. Yes, reservations are really highly recommended.

   Food is great. It's always packed - so get a reservation. This visit, our service was not as good as normal. Our waitstaff was slow, inattentive.

    Fish tacos are wonderful. Sea bass always wonderful. Tim, our sever was excellent, kept the water glasses full and the iced tea. This restaurant is always a p,easer.
