Perfect ambiance and delicious meal. Ashley was outstanding and the staff in general is amazing. We love this neighborhood gem!

The fish tacos and truffle fries are amazing! Our waiter, Brandy, was so nice and attentive! I really enjoy HH even though it’s a bit loud. ✅

Everything was great except for the happy hour offer of half priced martinis. Offer is good 3 to 6. We were there at 5:45, and each ordered a martini. When the check came and the martinis were full price, we were told that happy hour is only at the bar or on the patio. We were sitting at a table. I don't understand the reasoning and felt duped.

I feel like a restaurant at this level should be able to accommodate for food sensitivities better than Hudson House. I am gluten sensitive and originally chose the salmon, but was told I could not have that because it was made with soy sauce. There are gluten-free soy sauces, but more importantly they could have offered to serve the salmon with the buerre blanc sauce from another dish. Instead, the waiter just took everyone else's order while I reconsidered the menu. He never offered which items were naturally gluten-free or could be modified. After I chose a second dish he again said that wasn't possible and seemed to wait for me to come up with a third option. Out of frustration I finally asked him if he could tell me what I could eat and he offered one entree. So I ate that one entree while feeling like I came to have a nice meal of my choosing, but instead just ate whatever they gave me, not what I wanted. Such a disappointment. Restaurants that cannot or will not be sensitive to the needs of their customers fall off my list of go-to places. I was disappointed in Hudson House's approach to customer service.
