    My friends and I gathered for a birthday dinner. The five of us had a wonderful experience with Dave. He offered us choices of fun mocktails, gave excellent advice on menu selections and even divided our bill that listed exactly what we each ordered and also a fraction of the birthday girl's selections. The noise level was quite loud, but not as off-putting as some restaurants in town. We had a wonderful evening.

    This was our first visit to Hudson House, and we are looking forward to returning! I had the ahi tuna-ginger salad, and the bowl was filled with a generous serving of tuna plus mango, avocado, tomatoes, radishes, lettuces and a delicious ginger dressing. So yummy! My husband had the Hudson salad and gave it similar rave reviews. Our waiter was attentive and personable and we enjoyed the vibe.

    We went for Father’s Day and it was such a great experience! Our waitress was so kind and attentive. The food was amazing! I got the cheeseburger and it was the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had!! The martinis were also amazing and we tried both pies and they were delicious! Will definitely be coming here again!

    First, let me say, the food is always very good and fresh. I think our issues are just little things, eg. no garnish on my French 75, being seated in the loud downstairs bar area rather than the main dining room. That has happened twice even though the main dining room wasn’t at all crowded. On another occasion our group of five (including two normal sized men) were seated (or should I say squeezed) in a booth. And we had made reservations well in advance, so go figure. Fortunately one person in our group that day was a very small woman so we managed, but it was still tight. Guess in the future, I’ll need to specifically request on our reservation where we’d like to be seated.
