Like a moth to the flame ...we would rather go here for a weeknight dinner, than anywhere else in our neighborhood. Unsure exactly why this charming bistro is worth circling the parking lot, hoping for a space, and warming the bench, waiting for a table , we do it, happily, again and again, and are never disappointed with the food or the experience.
Make an open table reservation, and call Uber.
Best happy hour ever! The burgers are great, oysters always fresh. I have never been a huge martini fan, but now I am. The onion rings are the greatest too. Sitting at the bar is always fun, fellow happy hour customers are always friendly!
Great food, fun atmosphere.
Great! And did happy hour at Addison HH last night. Lovely!
It was very good. I wish it was not so loud
Absolutely one of the best restaurants we have been to in a while. Menu selection, wait service and quality were superior!
Incredible. Tuna tower salad for life. The cheese burger and chicken parm are also ridonk
Food was excellent. Service was excellent
It was soooooo loud. I was yelling at my husband. Not a pleasant experience at all.
First visit for us and we enjoyed every bite!! 3-6 Happy everyday and it was a Busy Friday night glad we made a reservation! Drinks were tasty tried Stoned Fruit and Blitz Betty... we both LOVE seafood and Hudson House did not disappoint....started with the Bouquet (12 oysters, Ahi tuna, 4 each crab claws & 4 shrimp with the fix'ns) deliciousness! Perfect start....we continue with the scallops-PERFECT! Buttery, fantastic... the man n cheese and the steak and blue cheese salad the Venture, if I remember the salad titles correctlyThe atmosphere we very enjoyable. Jordan our waitress great! She was on point with service and Although she was very busy she took the time to answer all our questions and visit with us. Great job, we will definitely be back! We want to hIt the happy hour!
The best environment just to hangout and talk, and the BEST food!! Can’t wait to go back!
Great food and GREAT service.
Would definitely recommend.
Great Happy Hour!
Delicious salads and great service - perfect for a girls lunch!
The Tuna tartare is one of the best I’ve had. And you can’t go wrong with the truffle fries!
The Beverly Salad was AMAZING. They didn't fill up my water right away but overall had a great lunch experience.
Rafael is the best!
Looking forward to my next visit. So much on the menu I wanted to eat!
So refreshing to be offered the brunch menu AND the regular menu on a Sunday morning. Too many restaurants have restricted their weekend daytime menus to brunch-only menus. I’m just not a big fan of being forced to choose between egg or heavy carb selections. Thanks, Hudson House!
Have been here many times and usually love the experience. The food is always good and this time was no exception. This time the service was a disappointment. We made reservations for six well in advance, but we’re seated in a booth that was too small. Also, the server spilled my drink on me with approximately half of the volume gone. She did offer a slight apology, but did not seem sincere and she also did not offer to replace my drink. To make matters worse, the drink spilled on and stained some very expensive leather boots I own.
I hope this was a one-off instance. We have eaten here many times and usually have a good experience.
I would describe Hudson House as a really nice lunch spot.
Hudson House is a neighborhood favorite, but every time I go, I find it to be overrated and overpriced. The vibe is great and the staff is friendly, but I've had far better brunches other places. And the wait's just not worth it for dinner.
Would love some vegetarian options!
If you like high energy, lot's of drinking, and decent food, Hudson House meets those areas. The place is way to loud and the reason for that is everyone has to scream to speak to each other. Restaurant is always crowded and you should make a reservation. The service is very good with a super friendly staff. Food gets out quickly. It's overpriced, but looks like they can get it, so I don't blame them. Drinks are also expensive. They have a good happy hour with drinks, oysters, and the Hudson Burger. This place was way to loud for me.
Service is great. We enjoyed everything and plan on going back to try oysters.
Maybe the best burger in Dallas!
Service was excellent by Jasmin
Always reliable. Great service.
Great neighborhood place with half price wine night on Monday. Food and service were both excellent and great overall value for the money, especially on a Monday.
We enjoyed our evening but had a lot of trouble hearing each other. It's just too loud and at the end of the evening, our ears hurt. Probably won't go back because of the noise. Food, service, ambiance are all good; just too much sound.
Always love Hudson House! Great drinks, menu and atmosphere.
Good neighborhood restaurant.
Are server was good but he apparently was the only one in the entire restaurant. It took us having to ask the hostess if we could get someone to wait on us. The food was good but the service really left us not knowing if we would go back.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. Hudson House is a great spot for lunch, brunch or dinner.
Food was fresh and fast, service was excellent. The oysters were our favorite
It seems like there is some sort of miscommunication between the two locations regarding which Bellinis are on special during brunch. I have reached out via their website and their Instagram with no response (the worst part is that I can see my message was read on Instagram). At this point, it just feels a bit petty that I can’t get a simple question answered. Why are the frozen Bellinis five dollars during brunch in Addison and not in Highland Park? The ambiance is very old money at the HP location and it seemed as if the only people of color there were serving, not eating. My date was a bit uncomfortable noticing this as well. I guess you could argue that it comes with the territory, but these are my neighbors. I will probably go back to the Addison location because I felt welcome and got what I was promised there, but I just really don’t feel like the company overall is concerned what customers think unless they’re aesthetic is suitable for posting on their social media accounts.
The food is amazing! I love the casual diner atmosphere but with a 5star menu.
Had a AAA experience. Great and timely service. Red fish was amazing and well accompanied. Get the mac ‘n cheese. Did not disappoint. Great drinks. Dessert was the least stand out but still good.
We were asked to leave and basically forced out of our table because they needed to fill the table with other people. No one else was asked to the leave and the Manager and Hostess were very rude and constantly walked by and glared at our table to get us to leave. I will never dine there again and felt type casted. Manager was rude and dismissed my frustrations when asked to leave my table.
We had a reservation for 6 people and were uncomfortably squished into a tiny booth. It was a work lunch so it was very awkward to be sitting so closely to one another
The parking situation is very frustrating. It was VERY loud in the restaurant. But food was good as was service.
