   We love Hudson Hound for their great brunches and their traditional Irish meals. The outdoor seating is perfect when the weather is right. The atmosphere inside is lovely especially a booth or a corner table. Love the cocktails. The hostess Jen is so nice and accommodating. Definitely one of the neighborhood gems in JC!!!

   Fantastic atmosphere and buzz around the place, food was incredibly tasty and owner/team were a delight and very attentive. First time visiting and will definitely come back very soon!

   Terrible experience. Very expensive. Three of us arrives for dinner with a reservation. While our food was being served, one entrée fell on the floor. The staff was unapologetic, spend 30 minutes waiting for another meal while the others were done eating. The restaurant offered nothing and was very rude. Will not return.

   Just ok, food was blah, but nice vibe, terrible service. Our waitress missed orders, diasappeaed for a long time, didn't get us plates, utensils and never checked up on us. Place wasn't even busy. I wouldn't go back since there are some nicer service places right around the cornor. Mgmt needs to pay attention.

   This review pertains only to the Buffalo Chicken Wings, an item I have gotten and very much enjoyed in the past! In prior experiences, the wings were slightly crispy & crackly skin on the outside, juicy & tender meatiness on the inside, plump and well-sauced (but not soggy!). In yesterday's meal, the wings were sad: over-fried and slightly rubbery skin, dry & scrawny in size. What happened Hudson Hound! :(

    Really disappoint. Sat at the restaurant for 20 min waiting to order and when the waitress came to take our order she told us the menu was changing and it was too late. Bar menu was very limited. Food was ok

    All in all good for a casual meal. Burgers were a little under cooked but flavors were great. Wings were great. Music was loud so was hard to hear each other. Spacious.

    We enjoyed everything we got immensely. We went for the great reviews but we’re still surprised at how delicious everything was and can’t wait to go back. We got wings, fried chicken sandwiches, smoked whitefish appetizer, and pub cheese appetizer. Drinks were also great! Will be back soon for sure.

    We were welcomed early because our 90 yr old was cold (they weren’t even open yet). All in all the food was good . We were missing a few items ordered but it was a party of 12 so this sometimes happens . We were able to sit a bit after our lunch without feeling rushed out into the rain as well.     Nice place. Good atmosphere. Tasty Irish food. TVs to watch games but plenty of spaces to eat, drink, or talk without having a television in your face. Cool fish and game decorations. Like an upscale mancave.

    Every Wednesday night, at Trivia night, the woman talks to a microphone and it is way too loud, so loud that I couldn’t hear my boyfriend sitting right next to me. It would have been perfect if it was a little less loud.

    We had a family dinner at the Hudson Hound, and everyone loved the food. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak, both were great. Our adult children had hamburger, fish and chips and fried chicken, and the enjoyed the food very much.

    I have tried this place for dinner one time and I ordered a veggie burger, and honestly, it's a tasteless patty. Neither the texture is good nor the taste. I thought maybe it was one off day but recently on Sunday me and my husband went for brunch and we tried a full Irish and vegetarian Irish breakfast and it was a genuine disappointment. The baked beans were extra sweet, and soda bread was okayish ( no butter was given on the side), the veggie burger was the same tasteless, and the potato cake had no salt just a blob of mashed potato fried. I ordered eggs fried over hard but they were crispy like chips. Overall, it was an okayish experience. The ambiance is nice and the vibe but the food doesn't taste up to the mark.

    We’ve visited Hudson Hound before and knew what to expect - an upscale Irish pub with quality comfort food and fresh pours of Guinness. This is not a dive bar like many Irish restaurants have the reputation of being. Excited to visit again in the future!

    The service was slow - our table was unstable and we asked 3 times for someone to give us something so the table didn’t rock back and forth but was ignored and ended up folding A napkin and fixed it ourselves. We also had different wait staff stop by to take our orders when we already ordered and hand to remind the different staff what we ordered.

    Big place that is probably pretty good to watch a game at. The food was ok but the service was almost non-existent. An ok pub locale. Good beer selections with many on draft. Next time I’ll just sit at the bar.
