Hudson & Co
Food was delicious. Waiter excellent and overall very pleased.
Service was awful!!
The view of Manhattan is fantastic, and the food is reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back when it's warmer and sit outside.
Great food, great service and amazing view. What else to you need for a perfect dinner.
Asked for a quiet table with good views. Views amazing, great food, and wonderful service. Just a big thank you
The Fish and Buffalo wings were delicious
The food was excellent, the service was excellent! The one thing everyone in my party kept saying was OMG there’s so much food! Truly a place that we will be going back to!
Absolutely amazing view! Food was delicious and service was great
The food was excellent. The tuna tartare appetizer tasted perfect as well as the sushi. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Our server was friendly and attentive. Timing of food was just right! And you can’t beat the view!
Nice restaurant with awesome views! Menu is limited- but food was nicely prepared and service was great! I will definitely go again.
A bit pricey. Can"t beat the views. Our waiter was excellent. Could have used more servers. Seemed to be only one on the floor.
really good place for a casual meal that's slightly elevated. GREAT wings, good octopus and sushi...apps were the big winners of the meal
They stuck our family in the middle of the bar under extremely loud TVs. We have a 5 year old and so it was hard to talk, and there was zero view (which is what we went for). Overall it was a highly underwhelming experience. It’s not cheap either which adds to the disappointment considering it felt like TGI Fridays.
I want to give this place five starts but the host staff killed it... now we were a walk in, before you roll your eyes and stop reading, we
Server was not very attentive. Took about 15 minutes for him to visit our table after we were sat. Never checked on us after our food was brought to the table. Took another 10-15 minutes to bring our check. Food was good and the views were amazing, but the overall service made our experience below expectations.
Beautiful view. Friendly staff. Good food. We were there on a Tuesday night so it was not crowded. We were seated immediately. The staff was attentive. We waited awhile for our food but we were in no rush. Everything was delicious.
Food and service top notch
Great atmosphere and local. Plenty of TVs as well for sporting events.
Service was spectacular, drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. Food wasn't great tasting, it was more about the ambiance then anything else.
Love this place. Been there a number of times and it never disappoints. The sushi is outstanding and of course, you can't beat the view.
Amazing location and good food! The service was great too. I would highly recommend Hudson & Co, especially if you're looking for a fantastic view of lower Manhattan.
The food was absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying sushi and it was amazing. I loved the ambiance and the fact that our photobackdrop was the New York skyline it was beautiful.
Waitress Bev was one of the worst I have encountered. Unfriendly, had attitude, slow and ignored our party of 6. Upcharged us on food and drinks without letting us know. Said she Never tells people. She did remove ine of the 2 charges when we expeessed our displeasure but it shouldn't have been an issue. View of Manhattan was nice but food was undistingished.
I generally do not bother to leave negative feedback. But this one was exceptionally bad. I got a call at 7:00pm to say ‘we will not be able to serve you’ and asked me to pre-pone my 9:30 pm reservation. Opentable shows 9:30 is available slot that’s why it was booked and communicated on a Sunday late night when you do not have lot of options. It was very late notice by but I tried to accommodate but we reached around 9:28 and I see the lady in front desk who is exceptionally rude telling me I already spoke to you and preponed the schedule. I thought I was making an adjustment by letting them change my schedule for last minute, but seemed she was making me a favor by allowing me to the restaurant. I politely asked her but opentable shows 9:30 as an available slot and there are still people inside. She just retorted I spoke to you on phone already and the kitchen is closed. We were stunned at the behavior and left without making any more conversation.
„Always no Internet for guests“..., they told me!!!!!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Food was outstanding- much better than expected or the milieu suggests. Fish dishes were excellent - and so were the desserts. Great views of NYC adds to the experience!
I made a reservation asking to be seated outside, if possible with a view. No one said at the time that was not possible, but upon arrival, we were told outdoor seating was only granted in a first-come, first-served basis. They told me I could leave my name and number and sit inside while we waited. So we did, and ordered dinner, and mid-meal, I get a call from the host. I told her that we could either be transferred to a new table now, or that we could be moved later for desserts and drinks. She said it was not allowed - only full meals could be served outside. I honestly find the food in this place meh, and only reserved because of the view in the terrace. It bothered me that they were so inflexible and didn’t clearly state at the beginning of the reservation that what I wanted wasn’t feasible.
Great food. The waiter was all over the place but he was very nice and friendly, it just took a long time to get our drinks.
All the food was delicious!
Second time going and I loved it just as much as the first!
Service was slow and unattentive. We ordered the octopus - sauce was too heavy, the seafood chittara - was ok, and the pepperoni pizza - nothing extraordinaire. The only thing good is the view if you are seated outside, otherwise there are better options in JC.
Great location with an amazing view. Wonderful staff and good food.
Amazing views! Great drinks at the bar. Service was attentive, staff was cheery.
Beautiful location, view and setting. Food was mediocre which was a disappointment since I am a fan of Pier 115 which is their sister location in Edgewater (many similar menu items). They cancelled my reservation because I opted to sit outside when asked for preference. Had to reach out to Open Table to correct my account since I was getting nowhere with the hostess. Ordered a virgin mojito and was charged regular price. Things like that are a turn off. If I go again it will be for a drink at the bar and take in the view.
everything was delicious...including the drinks! I will definitely go back. Sitting outside with the beautiful view is an added bonus.
We were there for my Husband's Birthday and It was awesome! Wish they read my comments i put up saying its a surprise for him in that way they can bring something out as a dessert with a candle on but no biggie. OMG our Server Valerie She was Awesome, She went above and beyond to make our night so much fun and Special! Kudos to Valerie :D
The view was spectacular; we chose to eat indoors, but the outdoor seating area looked like it would be really beautiful on a nice evening. TVs were a little loud, but it wasn't too disruptive. Food was good, would like a few more choices on the menu, but all-in-all, we enjoyed it. Pretzel appetizer was delicious! Cost is always too high for my tastes in east coast restaurants, so this was no different. Service was very good, washrooms nice and clean.
Have been here previously as a 2 top and had a wonderful meal splitting apps. Went as a 6 top and was disappointed by lackluster dinner options and slow service for a restaurant that still had open tables. Bill felt high for the quality of food and drinks. Unlikely that I will return.
The portions for the food were very generous. Really loved the dishes we got from a flavor standpoint as well. Our server was attentive and friendly. The music was really good too, which isn't something I usually notice at restaurants. Can't wait to return here!!!
Ehhhh that's about it. When you walk in to this place that should have all around fantastic views, most of the restaurant is blocked off by 3/4 high walls that surround the majority of the dining room making it feel like a diner with booths and extremely closed in. The design is horrible for a place directly on the Hudson River that should be wide open. Then one in our party was running late and they think they are a NYC restaurant and would not seat us until the whole party was there. We explained that we had their order and planned on ordering it with out meals so it would be ready when our other guest arrived. They didn't want to hear it and the manager just blew us off saying "we didn't want their food to get cold." Are you kidding me? We weren't little kids that were going to order 1 appetizer and tie up the table for 3 hours. Oh well.
Truffle pizza was great but how couldn't it be? Steak was prepared to temperature served with bone dry spinach that was hard to get down. Chicken dish was good. 3 fish dishes came to the table and stunk horribly like fish. My guests did eat them and said they were good but I wouldn't have let it pass my lips.
Overall just ok, and they definitely have work to do on their customer service and food.
