We went for dinner and the food was great- we tried the cheese and charcuterie board- amazing!! We loved the range of options and flavors and really enjoyed mixing and matching the different tastes. I got the duck dinner with the mushroom lasagna- divine. H&H can be pricey- but so worth it for a special occasion/celebrations!

This was our favorite restaurant on the north side, and we have been anxiously awaiting its reopening. While the changes to the restaurant's size and interior are welcomed and well done, the change didn't stop there. An all new menu has been crafted, with virtually none of our old favorites returning. Gone is the braised short rib, ahi tuna, fog and parm. . .

We did enjoy our appetizer (bread board). While well presented, it came on a large slate plate that dwarfed our table. Coupled with the extremely large wine glasses, there wasn't any room left on our table for two. I had to place my menu on the floor.

Our entres were also a bit disappointing: the noodles of my braised short rib pasta were clumped together in a mass at the bottom and my wife's salad had a more than generous portion of bacon. We elected to skip the all new desserts.

We are hopeful that this is early after the reopening, and the restaurant team is still making adjustments to get the mix right. They had the magic before in the smaller venue. Maybe the only big change needed was more seating capacity, not an entire menu swap.

We'll give it a go in a month or so. . . will keep our fingers crossed.

We were delighted that the Bistro was open again! We were so excited and we got to meet Chef Austin. I was shocked with the amazing wine list with good descriptions to each wine. We can't wait for the Curate sub-restaurant to open in 2015!

The new look & new menu items are awesome! Very cool that the Chef planned the menus to create a more social/interactive dining experience. The blistered snap peas dish is more addicting than popcorn at the movies, my lamb entree was superb & the steak tartare is modernized & fantastic! Can't wait to go back for brunch!

Recently reopened (Dec 1, 2014) after remodeling, the Bistro has a revamped menu and a refreshed vibe. It has long been one of the best restaurants in The Woodlands. It is now one of the best in the Houston area. Highly recommended.

We were expecting the new rooms to be amazingly decorated and improved. Unfortunately, we found the room we ate dinner in to have low ceilings and an odd feel. But the expanded bar area is nice.

They had only been reopened for a few days when we went back. The food overall was very good but there were a few dishes that we will pass on next time. We had to wait for our reserved table but we didn't mind as we had no where to be. Service was very good considering they had just reopened.

One disappointment was not having dedicated vegetarian items on the menu as before. I ordered a few vegetable sides instead but would have preferred they be nicely played together but they came out separately.

Wasn't impressed with the new change. The lighting is too bright, the food was too 'busy' and the service was SLOW and off! The prices are higher only to add adjectives and too many ingredients to the dishes.....disappointed.

My wife and I visited the new Hubbell and Hudson for dinner and were very impressed with what the new restaurant has done. Everything about our evening was terrific. The food, ambiance, and service were top notch. The new restautant is beautiful and offers the community a real high level dining option. We couldn't have been more impressed.

H & H just reopened after a major renovation. The new restaurant offers more tables, a really eye-catching bar, and a private dining room overlooking the kitchen. Our server, Gabby, was attentive without hovering over us. She took us on a tour of the new facilities, introduced us to the chef, Austin Simmons, and was knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We will go back again.

After being close to almost two months to expand and remodel, Hubbell & Hudson is finally open again. During the constructions, Chef Austin spent most of the time creating many new items making the choice on which to try first difficult.

On the opening night a group of three of us shared a number of appetizers and deserts and they were great. The muscles were tender and huge, the crab pasta was to die for and the 100+ day dry aged steak was one of the best steaks I have ever had.

Kudos to the chef!

Short on wine choice. Steak excellent. Tomatoe basil recipe has changed to spicy. Good but preferred the earlier.

Will be back after H & H completes remodel.
