View Private Dining DetailsWe've made this place our place to go for several occasions every year and always come out happy with the food, service and atmosphere.
The restaurant came highly recommended from a friend in Chicago and it lived up to its reputation! The Truffle Risotto was to die for, as was the Shrimp Toast and a fabulous bread pudding dessert. Service was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. I live in Chicago and wish we had one here!
Loved the private dining room and the service was excellent
Family gathering celebrating the birth of our granddaughter!
Been here many times and it certainly does not disappoint. Food always on point and service with Megan is always wonderful..Well done.
A special birthday dinner for our family of six. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine . Meghan our server was fantastic ! Very personable professional and she genuinely cared to ensure we had a fantastic dinner !
Family girls night out started with a wonderful dinner here. All the food was excellent. The lobster bisque, green salad and Branzino were sure hits! Our server, Kamela was great!! She was very helpful with recommendations and very attentive! Can’t wait to go back.
Everything was great, as usual. This place doesn’t miss.
The chef prepared an excellent Vegan dish. The food was moderately price. Ambiance and restaurant were very nice. Great location for a date night.
Our visit to the Bistro exceeded our expectations. Chef Austin and his team always insure that the experience is exceptional - from the moment you arrive to the moment you struggle to walk out with a satisfied palate. The service was outstanding as has become the custom with Juan. His attention to detail is meticulous and his ability to relate and communicate choices is without peer. The quality of the menu and the food served was incredible and fulfilled our tempestuous appetite. The timing of the service and food service was perfect to allow us to enjoy fellowship and pace the satisfaction of our appetite. I would highly recommend the Bistro. It has few peers in the area for a truly outstanding culinary experience.
Fabulous meal. Salmon was perfection! Great menu
I hate to complain, but this was a very different experience and it seems like this place is going downhill. We came here for our anniversary. Rose petals were on the table, which was thoughtful however our dining experience seemed to just go South from there. Our waiter took our drink order, keep in mind we had water glasses filled. He brings another two glasses of water and places it next to our pre-filled water glasses on each side.I had to ask him if he was aware that he just gave us two glasses of water on top of our water? He then takes our appetizer and main orders. When our appetizer order(s) comes out, we are missing an appetizer. Our waiter seems very off and after informing the person that brought our starter out, our waiter comes by and asks us if we are ready to order. So we tell him, you already took our order earlier- remember?? It was a very strange experience as our waiter advised us he got into an altercation with another table on top of all of this. Not quite the dining experience that you come to expect when paying over $125 for dining for two.
Food was perfection. Camela's service was exceptional. Great way to celebrate my daughter's promotion. Thank you H&H
Great spot for a first date!
We went there for the first time for my wife's birthday and wasn't disappointed. The service was unbelievable and the food was top notch. The oyster and egg starter was amazing! We will be back for sure
Excellent food and service!!!
Everything was amazing! Chef Austin has it going on. This is a terrific restaurant. Whether it’s brunch, lunch, or dinner, you can’t go wrong.
Great food and service as usual. Matty is just the best. Chef Austin came to say hello. Hands down the best restaurant in The Woodlands.
Always good food
They have a great whiskey selection and wonderful bar service
My husband and I found the appetizers to be really good. However, the Caesar salad was disgusting and contained literally half the contents of a red onion, something which does not belong in a Caesar salad. His portion of salmon to go with the salad was so small as to barely be two forkfuls, and for $10 more that was a rip off. I had requested a veggie pasta dish but instead I got risotto. Were not sure this place matches the accolades we’ve seen...
Great spot with beautiful decor. The service wasnt bad, but or very good. The scallops were cooked beautifully, but the risotto was inedibly salty, and there was way too many clashing flavors going on. If my company weren't paying for the meal, I would have sent it back (if I could have gotten the waiter's attention). Another overpriced medium experience.
We were visiting the area and wanted a good steak experience. We saw that Morton's was down the block, but figured we could go there at home and wanted something unique to the area. If I'm going to pay $50 for an 8-ounce steak, I expect knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. Our server was neither. Didn't know the difference between Black Angus and Wagyu beef when my son was trying to figure out which to order. Didn't notice when our water needed refilling and wasn't visible to even flag down. Slopped the dishes onto the table. At the end, it took us almost 15 minutes after we'd finished to get someone to find her and bring us our check. And although the steak was delicious, nothing else was outstanding. Good but not great. Would have still felt very happy if the service was good but it was awful. As we left we saw someone we knew (in town for the same event) who had decided to try the restaurant and had an even worse experience than we did. And by the way, it wasn't at all crowded. Big thumbs down.
Enjoyed the late brunch/lunch menu. Waygu beef was very well cooked. Wine choices were outstanding.
H&H is our Sunday morning brunch favorite. They know us and welcome us like family and we enjoy the atmosphere and food. Highly recommended for spoiling yourself.
I went to for brunch. I had the fried oysters and deviled eggs with kimchi hot sauce for an appetizer. This was delicious and would highly recommend it. My husband had the French toast which he enjoyed. My daughter had chicken and waffles which she enjoyed. I had the crab omelette which was bland overall, I would not order It again. Our service was good. I had a standard mimosa as a beverage. Overall, it's a good place for brunch or any other meal.
It was awesome! Great setting. Delicious Meal!! Extremely happy with this selection to celebrate our 15 years of marriage.
We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary as well as valentines Day. The food was excellent , but we were not happy with the server. She had a friend there and her attention was diverted most of the night. For such a highly rated restaurant, we received subpar service on a night that should have been special. Nothing special was done for our anniversary and we left disappointed. Suggest the management review the wait staffs attention to everyone.
Let’s start with table cloths too big for table,we tripped twice going to rest room.Martini,s should be served in a proper martini glass, not a stubby glass.Valentines Day appetizer ‘s were obviously meant for two,we were not told that, eggs with oysters had too much breading with no taste and a cheese platter which was good.We were in the middle of our first course when the waiter was trying to take our plates-which obviously we weren’t finished with-and we told him we would like to relax and finish our appetizers.A short time later he came out with our main course-which we weren’t ready for AND wouldn’t fit on the table with our huge appetizer plates,so we let him take the plates .I ordered the two steaks, one wet ,one dry, ordered them medium. Both were well done.My wife had the boneless short ribs which were very fatty, not a lot of meat.Desert was tasteless and dull with no imagination-BORING.WE thought this would be a special place since we go to H&H “Kitchen”almost every Sunday. This was nothing special or sophisticated or classy in any sense of the word AND soooooo overpriced for the food and service that I am very surprised.Your “Kitchen”is a very warm ,inviting, relaxed place to enjoy a good meal and reasonable! So many choices in “The Woodlands”-I think you need to up game-big time.
Fantastic drinks and mind glowingly delicious food.
We had a wonderful Valentines Dinner at Hubbell & Hudson Bistro. This was our second visit having eaten their over 2 years ago. Our memories from our first visit had been with us since and we were so pleased to see that nothing has changed. Every dish was sublime! A delight for the taste buds. The service was always attentive yet not intrusive and the ambience was just right. The bar menu and Happy Hour cocktails look tasty and fun, we look forward to popping in soon to try them.
Great personal service and exceptional meal.
Amazing menu and staff. Its not often you can blindly order anything on the menu and everything is not just good but amazing. I cant wait for my 3rd trip.
Absolutely the best restaurant in the Woodlands. Chef Austin is an incredible chef, and the food is amazing! All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. My sister was undergoing chemo and they were extremely considerate by providing a back room for us. My sisters appetite was such that the meal Chef Austin prepared was the only meal she had completed and enjoyed in quite some time. She had the pork chops and she said they were fantastic! She loved them! I am grateful to the staff for making that occasion such a wonderful experience and to Chef Austin for cooking such an enjoyable meal for my sister which she raved about. Hubble and Hudson is our absolute favorite. And the meal my husband and I enjoyed recently was just as wonderful as always. Congratulations on your newest award as well! And thank you again.
The food never disappoints. The ambience is great for a nice, quiet dinner. EC Austin Simmons creates artwork on a plate.
We celebrated my wife's birthday on Saturday night. Food was delicious and our service was very good! We enjoy the original menu items and always try something that you can't get anywhere else!
First time. The food was amazing. So many great flavors blended to perfection. From salad to desert, the food was worth the price. Our waitress, Nicole, was very sincere and a perfectionist. She did everything with a genuine smile and heartfelt service. Nicole made our dining experience very pleasant; we felt appreciated. I had the pecan pie for desert. It was the best I've ever had. Not too sweet. Light and delicate. I would definitely recommend Hubbell & Hudson.
Outstanding food, wine ,atmosphere, & service. A MUST!
In my opinion, Hubbell & Hudson Bistro has lost its luster. The same old menu augmented by indifferent service makes for a disappointing evening.
There once a dress code, yes? I was uncomfortable when a man wearing a hoodie, baseball cap and work boots sat down next to us and was not asked to at least remove his hat.
Chef Austin is a special kind of Chef. We are fortunate to have him here in the Woodlands
