   Meh, grossly overpriced for flavorless food. We went for Valentines day and were very disappointed especially for our $145...we don't drop money like that at all especially on food so i feel robbed paying that much for food I didn't like. The $1 chocolate covered strawberries at the fudge shop down the street made up for it. We ordered the Brie it was delicious-$20. The scallops were cooked well but could have had a better sear if they used cast iron (tbh I'm from New England and a seafood snob). The rice that came with the scallops was bland, i mixed it with the red beat purée and it still had no flavor...the carrots were undercooked and the Brussel sprouts were cooked well, but needed a slight char (again with cast iron) or at least some salt & garlic -that ran me $36. My husband had the steak, he said it was cooked a perfect medium rare, but also lacked any seasoning including salt. His mashed potatoes were good, he felt the same way about the carrots and brussel sprouts, his broccoli was undercooked-$39. Our cocktails were good ($11/$15) and the lemon cream cake ($9) was also good. Here is my biggest beef, for that much money season your food! I could have gone to Cipriani or Ruth Chris Steakhouse in NYC and gotten better food for a comparable price. I also hate when places do special valentines day menus and jack up the prices, just let me order off the normal menu (i wanted a burger)...honestly if i wasn't traveling i would have eaten at home...we should have just gone to McDonalds their chicken nuggets never disappoint. They get two stars because the food was cooked decent just flavorless and the waitress was nice.

   We absolutely love this quaint restaurant in town. We were in Sedona for 10 days and this was our favorite breakfast we ever had it was so delicious, basically eggs hashbrowns and toast but tasted awesome. Our waiter Alejandro was gracious and sweet and a perfect server!

   The food was ok, but we ordered juices and water and only received the juices no water. By the time we got our food, still no water and our drinks were empty. We asked again for water and finally got water. Only saw our server when he took the order and to pay our bill, someone else brought our food out. Also, we had to ask someone else working to grab our server because we couldn’t find him to get our checks. Our server was the guy with a funky, curly stash, short dark hair. Do not recall his name!

   Our family of 5 enjoyed a very nice dinner at HP Cafe during our vacation stop in Sedona. We ate on the patio in the back and had excellent service. Food was very good for a casual restaurant. Recommend it highly.

   Heads up!!!! All previous reviews should be deleted. They have a new cook and a new very limited menu. We were seated immediately by Jim, our friendly and gracious Maitre D. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. The place was completely empty in an area where everything else was very busy. The menu was completely different than the one here or on yelp. The prices were higher. For example, instead of the 4-5 chicken dishes, there was one and it was $28 instead of $25. There was only one hamburger on the menu. We really didn’t see anything we wanted to try and by 7 pm, only one other couple had come in. Jim explained that the had a new chef. We felt uncomfortable and left. I gave it 3 stars to be neutral.

    Great meal at a great restaurant! Made a reservation to ensure we had a table on a busy Sunday. Service & food were phenomenal! Jim, the host, saved us a great table in the patio. Strongly recommend this place!!

    We had a great brunch on Easter Sunday morning. Our waitress, Elizabeth, and host, Jim, were extremely accommodating and responsive with the service. The food was excellent. Will definitely plan to go back.

    Food was excellent as the 5 of us that dined left nothing on our plates. Time it took to get food was unacceptable as there were only people at 4 other tables. I would certainly give them another try based on the quality of the food.

    What a little gem in Sedona. We were graciously greeted by Jim the host, served promptly without being fast and our dinner was deliciously prepared by Chef Nicki. He even gave me the recipe for his potatoes! We go to Sedona every year and this restaurant will be on our go to list.

    The food was very good and the staff was friendly! We frequent Sedona multiple times a year and this was our first time trying HP Cafe because we get into a routine for where we like to eat, but we were glad we tried something new! We went for breakfast and the had some cocktails (which were half price!) and the food was delicious and came quickly. My husband wanted something off menu and they accommodated him with ease. We will try this place for lunch next time we are in town!

    Small well suited restaurant in downtown Sedona. Great for appetizers only, entire meal and friendly service. If you want to spend $11 for mashed potato at another fancy restaurant because of the view, and get so so food, hi right ahead. If indoor dining is for you because you have already seen the red rocks, this is the place. We had crab cakes, papardelle (a little spicy) and a filet. Delicious! Could not fit desert in.

    We had a reservation and were welcomed and seated upon arrival. The online photos do not reflect how nice this place is, very lovely and romantic. I was very excited for the menu. We started with crab cakes which were served beside a bed of greens. Do not discard the greens as they had the very best dressing I’ve ever tasted and when added atop the crab cake, pure heaven. My entre’ was the short rib which was tender and flavorful, my husband had the steak and ravioli. He said the skirt steak could have been seasoned a bit more but still tender and the sauce and ravioli delicious. My only feedback is on the drinks. I had a grey goose martini, which was prepared well just needed to be bigger, their martini glasses are very small. Also had a coffee and kailua with my desert. They didn’t leave much room for cream and at such a lovely restaurant they should serve the cream in a creamer pitcher vs giving me the Denny’s style bowl of creamer cups. Just minor details but they did not ruin my experience. It was a wonderful date night and the price was fantastic. Service was friendly and fast. We will be back to try the ossobucco which was unfortunately sold out. Sedona is an expensive place to eat but if you want fine dining without having to take out a 2nd mortgage then give this little gem a try.

    This was our first dinner at this place and we were pleasantly surprised. We had an outdoor table as requested. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The only issue we had was with the wine. I selected a Pinot Grigio and asked the server whether he could recommend it. He recommended another one instead which was fine with me. After a couple of minutes he came back to inform us that they were out of that wine. Then I asked him to give us a bottle of the wine we had in mind originally. He told me that they were also out of that wine. There was another Pinot on the list that they actually had and we liked it.

    7PM week nite dinner and we were the only customers and helped close the place at 8:30. You cane do much better in Sedona such as the Cowboy Cafe where we had lunch and it was very good and reasonably priced!!

    A great place to eat if you do not want to battle the crowds finding a decent fine dining restaurant in that area. It was a quiet and romantic ambience that was great for a date. The food was prepared very well. I would not say the food and drinks are anything special but the quality of food is certainly good. The service there is decent too.

    Made reservations for noon based on posting of a special Easter Brunch. Talked with a representative to verify the menu for the occasion. Guests arrived at noon as agreed. NO SPECIAL BRUNCH MENU WAS OFFERED. Just regular breakfast and lunch menu as per any week day.
