   We had a lovely dinner at Houston White. From the moment we entered the door the staff was welcoming and attentive. Our server, Tyler, was personable and professional. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were delicious. From the white table cloths to the great background music this is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the day. We will be returning! Highly recommend!

   Ordered Delmonico Steak per menu, medium rare at 126 degrees. Next time definitely order rare, as med rare did not have any red center. Lobster thermador was quite good and sides were ample. Ordered white cake dessert to go and it was perhaps the smallest slice we’ve ever seen; not worth the price.

    We were greeted with a warm welcome. Seated promptly. Congratulated on the occasion and service was prompt and friendly. Food was fantastic and everything came at a perfect pace. Would absolutely go again. Highly recommend.

    Had a wonderful birthday dinner here last night. Food was exceptional, very expensive but the quality of the food was outstanding so worth paying the price. The waiter was very knowledgeable. Had a great evening!

    Food was good, we both had the filet but unfortunately it was well overcooked :( the hostess bought us a dessert to make up for that, a nice gesture but we would have preferred our steaks to be the right temperature. Also their online menu mentions a porterhouse for 2 and beef stroganoff which were not on the menu at the restaurant. Staff were nice, place is nice, wine, whiskey & port were good. A whiny infant at the next table didn't help our experience either, but we would give it another go some other time.

    Love this restaurant, it is the most consistent in Rehoboth. Bar tender is very very good. Meals are very good, a little noisy in the bar area, but otherwise always very good.

    I have never had anything but a perfect experience at Houston White. It’s small and you feel like you’re walking back into time a bit. Always treated kindly and with respect. The food has always lived up to expectations.

    Suggest modifying the menu to include two sides in the cost of the entree. Adding a fee for horseradish on a steak is too much! The final bill was the highest per person in Rehoboth.

    Steaks perfectly cooked. Raw beet salad was delicious, even for a person who does not like beets. Rockfish special enjoyed by other diners at table. Side vegetable to share for two was pricey but enough for 3. Wines paired well with meal. Desserts were outstanding. Excellent service.

    We ordered the tomahawk steak to share. We ordered it medium and it did come out medium but the outside of the state was charred way too much. It overpowered the flavor of the steak. And we had a Caesar salad which was good and our sides were mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The mushrooms were really good the potatoes were just good. Overall it was a good experience but not worth the price. 300+ with tip for two people. Tables were pushed very close together. You are essentially dining with the people at the table next to you. I would probably return to give it another chance as it is a neat little place.

    We celebrated our anniversary where I proposed to my fiancé. The host made sure we were seated at the same seats from before and welcomed us with a complimentary glass of champagne. The food had so much flavor and attention to detail from the protein down to the sauce. The dim lights and jazzy music playing in the background made the entire experience feel cozy.

    Houston White was interesting. My husband is a meat eater and we wanted to give it a try. Pre dinner cocktails were delicious.I had the shepherds pie which was delicious as well. Very comfort food on a cold snowy night. The rest of our party shared a tomahawk steak. They said was good but not the best they've tasted. Dessert was creme brulee and chocolate mousse both very well prepared and so tasty. I enjoyed the meal but felt it was a bit over priced.

    The food and service at HW is terrific. My wife and I have been a couple of times and will come back. The only negative is that it is very, very loud. I don’t know if it’s the acoustics or it just attracts loud people, but it’s not a quiet, romantic dinner. The tables are really close to each other and you can hear every conversation. The louder it gets the louder people talk. This last time, my wife’s chair was in the way of the wait staff as the entered and exited the kitchen. All of this takes away from what would be a really romantic night.
