House of Smith - Downtown Walla Walla

Really cool spot. Our server was very engaging. He was young but very enthusiastic about the wine and was genuinely interested in our opinion about the wines we tried. He did think Sangiovese was a Spanish grape but his personality and humor more than made up for it. We ended up leaving with lots of extra tastings and a bottle of the Ovide Syrah. We’d definitely go back when we’re in Walla Walla again

we were charged for a double pour when we asked for a single. server offered no explanation. wine was not worth finishing. we will not return nor purchase.

Def overpriced. Would’ve skipped it in hind sight, so many other great options. Price points didn’t match how casual it was.

We had a great time at House of Smith. The wine tastings come out altogether in mini-caraffes on their card showing what they are. This allows you to go at your own pace, and know what you have at all times. We had both tastings and shared them, and they were both fantastic! Even asked to taste something off menu, and were able to because it was open! We loved everything, and came out with a nice selection of wines. Thanks so much, we had a great time! Our server was new, I think she said her first table, but she was fantastic! If she didn't know something, she brought the person who did! She was fantastic, great job!!

Wine choices a plenty! Maybe have a plan before going to taste.

Awesome wine tasting with Kayla! She was incredible knowledgeable and super friendly! The wines were amazing, and the charcuterie was excellent! The wine was so outstanding, we purchased a few bottles to take with us, and boy am I glad we did! My favorite wine was the King Coal! Will absolutely return!!!

We had a wonderful visit while in Walla Walla. Enjoyed the wine, atmosphere and little eats! The best part really is the fact that my husband lost his wedding ring while there, not sure where he dropped it. He called the next day and was so surprised to be able to pick it up. The integrity and honesty of the staff was superior; he picked up the ring the next day. Thank you and kudos to an honest and helpful staff!!!!!

Not only is the wine FABULOUS but so was our lovely, knowledgeable and vivacious server! Can’t wait to go back.

Friendly, knowledgeable service. Cool place. We had several of the wines (both white and red), all of which were mediocre at best and certainly overpriced. Took a bottle to go and poured at least half down the kitchen sink the next day with no regrets. Did not try any food there but OpenTable required the field. I cannot recommend this place for good wine based on my experience.

We stopped in for a couple of glasses of delicious Grenache and Syrah and really enjoyed the wines and service. Due to COVID, we could not enjoy a "real" tasting, but it was nice to sample some of the K Vintners lineup. And, we know that the CSW tasting room can be a real lively place, but due to COVID and distancing, it was fairly quiet when we were there (but the tunes that were playing were great!).

Large room with music a bit to loud. Even though COVID is limiting service in some ways all winery’s I have been to are still doing tastings except this one. They only serve full glasses of wine. Ambiance was rather dull as well. Wine quality was good but still won’t be back. Wish them the best but it’s not for me.

Highly recommend their wine. It is outstanding!!! Always stop here when in Walla Walla.

This has always been my favorite winery so getting to be here was exciting for me. Prudence was amazing, the appetizer was excellent and the wine was perfection.

Once COVID is past we will be back for live music and more wine.

Going during Covid is really not fun, you can’t taste the wine like we are used to, you can get a glass and or a bottle however, there is no such thing as tasting to see what you like, prices are fairly high for a glass of wine so, if you are trying something new and it’s not to your liking, you are stuck.
I would have like to been offered a flight or something in lieu of tasting so you can at least sample the different wines.

This was our favorite winery and there was a lot to choose from! Just really nice, informed staff and unique style with great tasting wines. Worth a visit and right downtown so easy to get to. Consider visiting before dinner or after!
