The menu is very small. The vegetarian lasagna is like soup. Horrible. The ribs tasted as if it came out of a box. Horrible. French fried were dry. The service wasn’t that great. They acted as if it was a rush but it wasn’t that busy and regardless it’s called « Customer Service » for a reason. The water girl was on point though. Music was wonderful. The theme is great. But I sadly wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a meal. Drink and music is perfect.

Great place with a great atmosphere and lots of pictures and chandlers. The pianist and singer on the Tuesday night we went were great. The pianist was exceptional worth listening to. The food was above what we were expecting for a club but reasonable prices with a set menu and good prices on cocktails. If you are in Montreal you should visit.

We had an awful experience at the House of Jazz. I had made a reservation for my boyfriends birthday weeks ahead of time. I even wrote it was for his birthday, but that was never commented on and we were seating in a cramped seat right in the front. The drinks and food was obnoxiously overpriced. Our drinks were weak and it took forever for our waitress to check on us. By the time she did we asked for a cheese platter that was EIGHTEEN dollars, so we expected that it would have an array of cheeses, fruits, and nuts included. However what we were given was the opposite, there were five small pieces of cheese and three slices of apples. The plate looked like it was meant to feed a mouse. We waited then for a extreme amount of time just so we could get our check and leave immediately. Our waitress was aware that we were upset and still made us pay the cover charge. I ended up paying 75 dollars in total for two watered-down drinks and five slices of cheese. Don’t go here.

Il y a une très bonne ambiance. Le décors, très chargé, semble tout droit de New Orleans. Les plats sont excellents. Les musiciens jouent comme des Dieux.

We had an amazing evening and even got to have a drink with the band. Very nice people and good energy. Ambiance is incredible.

Food was good but not exceptional, service from Charlene was really excellent and the live music was very, very good. Atmospheric place that lived up to expectations. We were visiting from Europe and would recommend House of Jazz to anyone.
