Great authentic Indian cuisine. However, service is slow bc food is personally prepared for you. Decor is very basic.

Really good food and excellent service, not an inexpensive place, but well worth it - we will definitely return.

Robert greeted and seated very quickly. He reviewed the special appetizers with us and later did the same with the entrees. We shared the chicken meatballs with korma (sp?) sauce, as well as butter nasn and onion kolcha(sp?). Plenty of food for 4 ladies -and everything was delicious. We shared an order of chicken fried rice as our entree. No one had room for dessert, but there was a pretty dessert case display

Buyer Beware! When they tell you the specials....ask for the price! We got tricked into a $30 appetizer and a $30 "kids" meal that was too spicy anyway.

Value for money was not there when we visited this restaurant on Mothers day occasion. We did spent $16 for Paneer Tikka Masala and the taste was absolutely pathetic. The value for money was not there and the drive from Edison , NJ to PA just to taste the food based on Google reviews for this restaurant was not worth for the money we spent. Please understand that they are charging premium price for the worst taste and presentation of the food as well. Not authentic and need to improve a lot to bring the value for the money that is getting charged for this type of food

We had a beautiful Valentine’s lunch. Happy Grover (sp.?) was our waiter and he took amazing care of us. It’s hard to pick a favorite but the cashew chicken curry and saag were to die for. We tried like every dessert and they were delicious- especially the coconut doughnut/cake. Can’t wait to go back!

We were looking to try a new Indian restaurant, and found House of India on open table. We made a reservation and headed to the restaurant. We were greeted at the door, we stated we had reservation, and they moved us to our table. They had some crispy crackers and dipping sauces waiting for us to munch on. We got the Gobi Manchurian for an appetizer, medium heat, and it was tasty but we could have done hotter and will ask for hot next time. Our entrees and breads were brought to the table quickly after we finished the appetizer. I felt the portion sizes were much larger then I am used to from other restaurants. I was stuffed and had enough for left overs.

The only issue I had with the experience was the music was far too loud. Maybe some of the patrons like to hear music while dinning but I would have preferred it at a lower level.

This is a family favorite for us. The kids love everything from the rice and bread to the lamb and gobi manchurian, which is a MUST. I love the mutter paneer, and my husband usually goes for one of the kabobs. The service is wonderful.

My daughters (12 and 7) and I were spending the day together. We looked for an Indian restaurant near us and House of India popped up. The reviews looked good so we stopped and thank goodness we did! Robert and Happy were attentive servers. Robert was extremely kind and personable. The “buffet” is served to your table and was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. You are then permitted to take any remaining dishes with you. Superb experience for lunch! We’ll be back.

As residents of Limerick we are always looking to support our local providers. And, on a Sunday evening we were looking for something close by and without a lot of fanfare. We were warmly greeted and, upon arrival, we were the only ones in the dining room. But, with football in full blast, the takeaway service was brisk and several of the other tables quickly filled up. The menu is rather extensive and I never quite figured out whether or not they have a liquor license. We both decided to get the two lamb specials offered that night (one served in a korma sauce and the other dish served with a rub). They will tailor the spice level to meet your wishes. The portions are large and we brought a lot home for leftovers. The only negative about the food was that we were not asked how we wanted the lamb cooked (we always get lamb medium rare) so it was brought out medium and, therefore, a little dry and overcooked for our liking. Service was very attentive without being intrusive; water glasses never went empty. The only negative about our experience was that we weren't told the prices of the specials; I find $40 and $35 to be steep for such a restaurant given its casual, local nature and for dishes that were only accompanied by rice. Now, mind you, the entrees took a noticeably long time to be served so we were comped tea (very good and helped warm us up in the quite cool dining room), bread (also very good) and dessert (we were full so we really weren't able to partake in the fried balls dipped in syrup). I got the impression other tables were getting items comped, I'm not sure why, but I assume as a marketing tool to encourage return visits. Nothing wrong with that.

We had an excellent dinner. It was our first time and we will definitely return. Our server, Happy Grover, was most helpful with recommendations. We were also treated to an appetizer and various desserts that were complementary.

I was pleased to find a new Indian restaurant near home so I had to check it out. I perused the menu online and found they had a generous offering of dishes and I made my reservation and headed over.

However I readily discarded the menu when they explained the evening's specials. The appetizer of thinly sliced and fried Chinese eggplant with tamarind sauce was a treat. It should have been a hint how how I was to be blown away by the entree.

The Frenched(!) lamb chops served with a cashew sauce was amazingly divine. The sauce was beautifully balanced with cardamon and the chops had that perfect spot of pink. I unabashedly licked my fingers repeatedly after each half of each double chop had been gnawed clean.

Luckily I had garlic naan to help wipe up the remnants from the sauce that lingered on my dinner plate. I couldn't finish the generous portion and I demanded that they get every last drop of the sauce into my take-out carton.

The service was attentive without being overbearing, too.

Please checkout this place and let them be successful!
