salmon was excellent. ribs were mediocre. sides were good. nice retro atmosphere and music
We were in a hurry to get in line for the Buckethead concert at HOB, and our waitress made sure we got both our food and our bill as quickly as possible. My "Juicy Lucy" burger was perfect, and we made it to the front row on the floor for a great show by the greatest guitarist on the planet!
I got the smoke house with the brisket it was delicious my husband got a flat bread it was ok but who gets a flatbread
Great food and atmosphere, we really enjoyed the live music.
Overall- good food, fun atmosphere! Great server- Ian! He was on top of everything. Made excellent recommendations!
Will definitely return!
This was a terrible disappointment. This was to be our date night out while on vacation. The restaurant was not crowded so we arrived a bit early. We were immediately seated which was good and the waitress was prompt and attentive which was nice however the food was very overpriced with small portions and not well prepared. Our waitress recommended shrimp and grits. They way they prepare them is to make a square grit cake which was cold and cover it in sauce. The shrimp were rubbery and tasteless and were obviously not cooked in the sauce. The shrimp cake was hard on the outside and was rubbery in the middle. We will never go back
Great food, great service and the music was great too!
Server was great, food was tasty, and live music was cool. Allover a great experience.
Such a pleasant experience and my server was amazing. The food was delicious and so were the drinks!
The food made me sick, so I do not expect to return.
Food was delayed coming out, had to ask for a second drink. Good part was there was life entertainment which was great. Brisket was top notch
Awesome experience! The food was great the server was quick and friendly and the wait for the food wasn’t long at all! 11/10 would recommend!
Our table was available as soon as we arrived. Staff was friendly. Service was excellent. Food was good, had to ask for barbecue sauce. Overall a good experience
This was our second visit during our most recent stay at WDW -- food and service was amazing!
Food was good, but service was horrible. Waitress was rude and complained about 2 children not letting him enough tip.
And I never heard that a waitress need to paid other staff out of his money, when he does not get the tips, but he was so mad and rude that even said that.
The waiter we had was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, as well as friendly. The food was great, and the portion sizes were large.
Food great! Atmosphere great! Service great!!
I had to order three different meals before settling with a simple cheeseburger and fries.
What a fun place for dinner! Food was very good! I
This restaurant is always a must when I travel to Orlando.
We have been to the House of Blues for dinner a couple of times and each time, we have been incredibly pleased. The service and food were fantastic and that bread pudding is sooooo good it will make your tongue slap your brains out!
Fun place for Marti Gras. Lots of fun. Staff was having a good time.
Good food, great surroundings. A nice addition might be having the live music coming in through the restaurant, instead of having the live music outside and something different inside.
Great place and foos
We ate at HOB before a concert. Everything was great. Our server was fantastic!
We reserved our seat with the intention to be entertained by live music. We were seated in the back room no live music. We asked to be relocated, but by the time the host went to check, the table we originally reserved had been taken. Will not be back.
Food was excellent, desert was excellent as well. There was a band inside and one outside, it was energetic and fun. I’ll definitely come back, with more friends in tow, to listen to music and eat great food. Plus, it’s in disney springs so theres a bunch going on otherwise. Definitely save room for the cookie skillet, it’s possibly the best desert i’ve had in years.
Love the whole experience- one issue was the shrimp po boy. My bread was verycrumbling and cou
My wife and I had an appointment and requested to sit inside. When we were being directed to outside seating, we re-iterated that we requested inside. We were told to wait and let them see what they could do. While we waited, a group of 4 Caucasian women, were being taken to an outside table. They asked if they could go inside. Almost immediately they were taken inside and seated. 5-10 mins later we were given a seat inside and the place was 1/2 full. There was plenty of seating available. We almost decided to leave but my wife wanted to taste the food. The food was delicious. And our server was great, it was our initial experience that was offensive! So very disappointed 😔
Great pulled pork sandwich. Portions are good and we’re glad the loud music has been moved to outside as compared to a few years ago.
Fun place to have dinner with live entertainment. Service was excellent. I highly recommend the nachos and the bread pudding was amazing!
I had never tried cajun style food and I bought the cajun pasta and it was amazing! Service was good and a nice atmosphere. Definitely would recommend to others!
My dad and I went to eat for the pass the line promotion so we could go see cnco. I wasn’t really expecting anything big from the restaurant but when we got our food it was delicious! I was very happy with how our night went.
The service was absolutely amazing. The server recommended a great app and we loved it. The entrees on the other hand were pretty awful. $30 for a medium well steak and it came out burnt and dry with no flavor.
Everything was excellent. The main reason I am making this review is to tell people that they do not have gluten free bread or buns, so all burgers and sandwiches are out for gluten free. Their tacos are gluten free. Their shrimp and grits are also not gluten free.
Hostess and waiter were miserable. Everything else was good.
Unfortunately, the table service was not good. Ended up with two separate servers, food came out before drinks, waited even longer for 2nd drinks, “was told they lost our ticket” after over 5 minutes waiting. Waited another 2-3 minutes before drinks were served. The food looked nice but tasted cheap, with not that much flavoring. First appetizer was cold (nachos) but 2nd appetizer was warm. Very pricey, as expected for their location and popularity, but wouldn’t recommend it. Too many other restaurant/bars in the area are better.
We were hankering for some BBQ so settled on HOB in Disney Springs. The joint was hopping and the service expeditious. We had a few cocktails and settled on the BBQ Platter with Brisket and Smoked Chicken. It came with a small piece of Cornbread, Mexican Style Corn on the Cob, Beans and Slaw. While the sides were small-the variety made up for it. We added a side of Mac and Cheese-which I don't recommend-it was dry. But the Brisket was super moist! I don't usually choose brisket as it can be dry and tough-but not HOB Brisket. The Chicken was good-not superb. At the end of the meal we got a receipt for a discount at the store next door-so off we went to buy a few tee shirts! Outside on the patio was live music-and you can order food from their stand next door. I think this is a great alternative if you want something more casual.
